I think you just volunteered yourself ;) -
My provisional license is here!!! :D -
To be fair, Rosberg has been helped by his Dad's name - we've seen it with Hill and Villenueve too. -
Sky + is always good, but ages ago we bought one from Clearance Bargains that records Freeview and can burn videos onto DVD. -

That was a convenient cut off after the second goal went in... -
Which F1 driver are you? I got Hulkenberg.http://www.gotoquiz.com/which_formula_1_driver_are_you -

No, it only includes current marques (though I did allow Sauber to keep their payments despite the BMW reign). Red Bull get £10,000,000 next season though, then Toro Rosso the year after.afrodude41 said:"A team involved in the sport for a long time receives an additional £10,000,000 per decade they have been in the sport (without withdrawing). This is known as a dedication reward."
Not sure I agree with this. Ferrari will get something like 60,000,000 pounds, and a team like Red Bull will get nothing, or unless you mean a team's payout will include their predecessors (i.e. Red Bull will have Jaguar and Stewart GP)

I've been a bit bored today, so I decided to see if I could come up with my own concorde agreement. This was it:http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=09655373361981412293I then worked out the cash it would pay out to the teams at the end of last season:http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=21982983563649954893Thoughts? (Preferably about what I came up with, not how sad I am :p) -
Cricket annoys me. How do you get runs for hitting the boundaries despite not running that many times? And what the heck is a birdie and bogey in golf?! -
I meant I don't think they'll get 75 million from Man U :psjsharp2010 said:
maybe not but then Dunfermline don't really qualify for Europe or generally win lots of trophies though do they. Plus Scotland isn't the biggest most followed league. I don't mean any offence @jordie was just stating it as a fact.fIsince08 said:
I'd doubt that they will get £75 million a year from the merchandise tbh.jordieDAFC said:Money......
We had a strip few years back that was made by Adidas. Without the logo and sponsor it was like £15/£20. With them the shirt was worth £40I know there is a large global fan base for United but not everyone buys merchandise every season - I still have our old kit from 2010. -
I've already said, I like his driving style and his personality. Is Hulkenberg successful? Nope. Are Sunderland successful? Not in the slightest. Ok, I started supporting Hamilton in 2008 when he was doing well - I came into the sport and chose the top Brit as my favourite driver - mainly because that is who my Grandad was supporting too - like Sunderland.AMS97KRR said:Last point I'll make on this as it is off-topicNationality cannot be the only reason IMO, there has to be some other legit reason otherwise I'd be tempted to say you only like them because they are successful and use "they're British" as some kind of Divine right to support them.Over the years, I've also started supporting others as I've already said. Now, to get this back on topic, I don't want Rosberg to win it as I think he is too cocky. -

I always wonder, apart from the logo on the strips, what do the kit makers get out of these contracts? -
We have Adidas kits and the home one looks crap.AMS97KRR said:Man United get Adidas from next season for 10 years.AWESOME! -
I'd keep supporting Hamilton. I like his driving style as well as his personality - yes, OK him being British has got something to do with it - there I said it. I don't see what is wrong with supporting someone from your own country. Are you saying that all those supporting Murray at Wimbledon last year are fanboys (or girls) too? What about Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome too in the TDF?AMS97KRR said:
The Idea of supporting is to cheer them on regardless of their current success. It is exactly why I think it is a poor reason to support someone.fIsince08 said:
Chilton is a lost cause, but I would like to see Button do well before he retires. I supported Di Resta too when he was in F1.AMS97KRR said:
Yes. Supporting your country is different to supporting one random guy. F1 isn't about nations, it is about drivers and teams, the World Cup is about nations.fIsince08 said:
Did you want England to win the World Cup?AMS97KRR said:I don't really care. I'm not saying Hamilton because he is British because that is the lamest reason on Earth to want someone to win.If you support someone purely because their British or German or whatever else, it is stupid. How many of you Hamilton fans are genuine Max Chilton fans or fans of every British driver ever? Most of the time it is more or less "I support him because he is a successful British driver"And we all know I support Hulkenberg too.Obviously all the fan boys on here will instantly disagree with me, but they know it is true. What if your favourite British driver changes nationality to French tomorrow? What then?As I've already pointed out, I support Hulkenberg who is German - I also like seeing Bottas and Ricciardo do well as it makes for a nice change to the old boys. -
