Whoever decides Vettel's tyre strategy needs to be fired immediately.

Great race though, the Alonso-Vettel battle without the complaining was good, didn't even realise they'd be complaining until I watched some stuff on Sky.

The noise the fans made when Hamilton came round the last corner was insane, great atmosphere, and it was nice to see Lewis win, even though I am not his biggest fan.
Interesting you say that about the noise. I've watched the 2008 race and you could hear the noise over the loud V8s, yet this time the crowd could be heard over the V6s just as much. As the V6s are quieter, the crowd weren't as loud :(

  2. I got my Xbox One from CeX, it was practically brand new, no marks or scratches and works perfectly. It still even had all the protective plastic around the parts and all the stickers that you'd normally remove when you unbox one :) Just tell them that you want one thats in condition A and it'll be as close to brand new as it gets.
    The irony :p

I saw a post a while back suggesting that Suzi Perry should present it, how horrific too!

Good job that never ended up happe....oh wait
She has been alright at Silverstone, however she nearly slipped into bike mode by saying it's so hard to get a "ride err drive" in F1 :p

    TBH I'd like:

    Presenter: Lee McKenzie
    Pundits: EJ and DC
Commentators: Ben Edwards, David Coulthard and Eric Silverman
    Pit lane: Gary Anderson
Interviewers: Natalie Pinkham and Tom Clarkson

Button could make a good commentator too when he retires:

You forgot Ted Kravitz. Seriously. Ted Kravitz is the best presenter in F1. Perhaps is all of sport.

Eddie Jordan is the only member of the BBC crew I'd take over their Sky counterparts. In fact, lets make a vote of it:

Pick your prefered from each category:

Presenter: Simon Lazenby v Suzi Perry
Commentator: David Croft v Ben Edwards
Co-comm: Martin Brundle v David Coulthard
Pundit: Johnny Herbert vs Eddie Jordan
Pit-Lane: Ted Kravitz vs Lee McKenzie
Analyst: Anthony Davidson vs Alan McNish
Occasional: Bruno Senna vs Mark Webber
Writer: Mark Hughes vs Andrew Benson

I like Ted's presenting skills but prefer Gary as the tech guy purely because he was really in F1.

    But for your vote:
    Suzi (just)
    Ben
    DC
    EJ
    Tie
    Ant
    Mark

My new predictions for the race:

    Rosberg, Hamilton, Hulkenberg
Doubt so, to be honest. Vettel and Red Bull won't muck their strategy up like Williams did back in Austria.

Unless you take into account the fact that Webber's at this race :P
The Merc speed is so much greater than the RB though, plus it has the Merc engine (obviously) :p

And Webber is at the race.

Not sure if Hulkenberg or Button will take a podium, would like both of them to do it though.

When I saw Hulkenberg take pole I was ecstatic, then I saw Vettel, Button and Rosberg top it :(

  6. Oh for crying out loud, this is 2011 all over again!

Obviously I'm disappointed for Lewis, but as a F1 fan... wow what a session! The two Ferraris and Williams fighting through, Hamilton fighting through, Vettel and Button defending and hopefully finally a podium for Hulkenberg.

    This race should be fantastic.

*realises he said the same thing at Austria*
