It's an idea that gets stupider the more you think about it. What about tracks where start crashes are common (e.g. Monaco, Canada, Australia)? Anyone else forsee a vicious cycle of starts, crashes, SCs and restarts?
Yup. What a stupid idea this is. I'm sure the fans will love watching the leaders retire with clutch failure.

Sweet, got paid an hour ago :)

In other news, FIFA 14 is one of the worst games I have ever played.
You're playing it wrong 'Fez :P
I was playing as England, we're supposed to be a good team right? Oh wait...

Nah, I just hate the AI, on Amateur I was winning by 5 goals, so I put it up to Semi-Pro and just couldn't even match them. I swear they can run faster than you and it's almost as if they know where you're gonna move even before you do ~X(
You do realise their are sliders in the game settings menu, right?

  3. That safety car idea is stupid, as has been said they may as well red flag the race. Also, weren't safety car restarts after red flags introduced to prevent accidents on restarts? What happens now then? Red flag, safety car lap, standing start?

And if there is a stalled car, how will aborted starts work?

    What a stupid idea.

  5. Well, it could also lead to a justified result.

Imagine Nico being infront only due to Hamilton's troubles with the car (sounds familiar to me). If Lewis wins the championship due to double points in the last race no one could claim that was unjustified in any way.

Of course, it works the same the other way round. But I don't expect Nico to suffer the same amount of unforced DNFS.
I was just going to ask this. If Rosberg manages not to DNF this season and Hamilton is behind because of his two DNFs, if Hamilton wins the title because of double points will you find that fair?
