  2. Toca Race Driver 3 is one of the best racing games I've ever played, I still play it on PS2 every now & then. Has CM ever considered releasing it a HD remake version of TRD3 on PS4/X1? I think that would be awesome, especially if CM included a custom mode like the custom cup in Grid Autosport where all the cars & tracks are available from the start & one can setup custom races with any car at any track.
  3. I just got Grid Autosport Black Edition for Xbox360. I tried using the Black Edition code to get the content from XBL but it gives me an error message. Also, when I looked for DLC content it didn't show anything. I tried looking for DLC in my laptop and didn't show any DLC for GAS either. Anyone have any idea what's going on? PS: why is it that Black Edition content is a separate downloadable content? That's seem really dumb. Why not include it on the disc? 
  4. This topic is for PS3 players who play with no aids and want to find clean racers to play against. Post your PSN ID, which F1 games you play, and what time you usually play. PSN: FS7_x Games: I have all F1 games on PS3, I can play any of them. Timezone: gmt -3 (Brazil), I don't have specific times to play, I play whenever I'm free.
  5. Just out of curiosity, is track selection for short/medium career season & season challenge fixed? If so, which tracks do we race if we choose short/medium career, or season challenge?
  6. Just out of curiosity, how difficult is it to license classic tracks? Is it more difficult than licensing classic cars & drivers? The reason I'm asking this is because I think it would be awesome if CM included every track from previous CM F1 games in F1 2014. That would make a total of 28 tracks - 19 tracks from the 2014 season, 4 classic tracks from F1 2013 (Jerez, Brands Hatch, Estoril, Imola), 5 tracks from F1 2010-2013 (Yeongam, New Delhi, Nurburgring, Valencia, Istanbul). I'd imagine from a technical standpoint including those tracks wouldn't be as difficult as making new tracks since CM already has track data from previous games, it would be more a matter of working out the license part. To me having 4 extra tracks in F1 2013 was one of the best parts of the game, it added more replay value. So, is there any chance CM could include every track from previous CM F1 games in F1 2014 to make it the ultimate F1 game?

    Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't F1CE have broadcast style presentation & career mode where you could name your own driver, pick a helmet, and even choose what he looked like?

    F1 2015 Game Ideas and Suggestions

    EA taking over the F1 series could be bad, but the same could be said about PD.  Taking into account what PD did to the GT games we could very well end up with a F1 game with no damage, no fuel/tire wear, a bare-bones online mode with no leaderboards, no matchmaking & no friend invite, bad AI, bad engine sounds, and a boring career mode that isn't fun or challenging and is designed to favor grinding rather than player skill.

  13. In theory... However, half the people online are idiots!  Nobody can accept being overtaken, or are willing to yield to good defending. Just tonight, I had some Belgian guy trying to throw it up the inside at every corner, even taking to the grass instead of taking the outside when I fairly defended the inside line with a single move. Then he sends me a bunch of messages calling me a cheat for blocking him.  He'd simply give me a bad rating and make me look bad when in reality I was driving by the rules and he had no clue how to attack fairly. I'm not talking about a report system (terrible idea imo). I'm talking about a system that grades drivers based on their online driving stats (races entered/races completed, total races/clean races, total laps/clean laps, total overtakes/clean overtakes, average number of collisions per minute). Then when creating a lobby you could restrict entry to only players with a driver rating above a certain level. For quick race matchmaking players of similar rating would be grouped together. One might get taken out in the first few times he plays online but if he keeps completing races and tries to race clean eventually he'll be matched up with other clean players while the demolition derby crew will be limited to playing each other and won't be able to join clean lobbies.

    So, it will have all the tracks from the 2015 season + Hockenheim, that's nice. Can we still set up a custom championship like in F1 2013/2014?

  18. Having the tracks from previous seasons would be good enough for me, imo tracks add more replay value than cars. I also remember back in 2013 one of the developers mentioned that tracks are easier & cheaper to license than cars & drivers.
  19. Another pro of online practice: -you don't have to stare at the screen with your arms crossed for a very long time while waiting for people to join. You can actually play the game while waiting for people to join the lobby and bypass the most boring part of online play. GT5 & GT6 had that, it would be nice if CM did the same for their racing games. Another option would be to do include an option for the game to search for available lobbies while you practice in time trial and automatic connect you to the lobby once it find one that's available. Fighting games have system like that, it's a pretty neat system.
  20. You forgot to mention AI that leaves the pits and blocks you on the first corner in their outlap in qualifying, even when there's not enough time for them to start a flying lap.

    This year there's multi-class racing. There's Mercedes competing in Formula Mercedes and everybody else competing in Formula One.

    I saw the "new" F1 website a few days ago, looks like crap. The older website was easier to navigate.

If CM did something similar to GT6 not only would players be able to to do some laps before quali/race but we'd also get rid of one of the worse parts of online racing, which is waiting in a lobby. Having to wait a long time for other players to join with no option to go to the track and drive a some laps is incredibly boring, most of the time I simply give up on online racing and go play time trial or custom races against AI.
  24. Better idea: do like GT6 and let players go to the track and practice while they wait for other players to join the lobby.

    Grief Reporting for Online Multiplayer

    I don't think CM cares about dirty players ruining the game for everybody else. There is still no online driver rating system, option for host to kick players has been removed, there's no incentive for players to drive clean and pretty much no punishment for players who drive dirty. I've been suggesting for years that CM should split sprint lobbies into "casual" lobbies (no damage, light penalties, all aids allowed) & "hardcore" lobbies (full damage, realistic rules, most if not all aids banned). It's possible to get a clean race by creating a lobby, enabling full damage & realistic rules, and banning all aids but it takes forever to get a decent size group together.
