Probably licensing. Some brands arent that easy to license as others. I know Corvette C6R and possibly Corvette C7R needs to be licensed from Corvette for the car chassis then Callaway for the racing version. If I am not wrong, Corvette licensing is separate from Chevrolet license.

@Photonik‌ "You see the difference with the DLC-strategy, do you? GAS had a certain amount of DLCs that were known and more or less in the works during release of the game." You see the difference in development of Grid Autosport and AC/pCARS too, right? One is a rush product, the other 2 is a well crafted game that takes years to build. Both have extremely different development cycle. Even if they choose not to recycle content, what happens if people came asking about Zenvo or Genesis from grid 2? Or they want that lovely Donington from grid 1 in Grid Autosport? you cant please everyone to begin with and the content isnt that bad to be honest. I got some of the cars I like from previous games, like Autogallery R32 and also some tracks like Donington that I used to enjoy. "Some DLCs are a joke, like the additional garage slots or the xp-booster. You pay for something, that the game limits you to in the first place, so you really get nothing of value for your money. THAT is simply money generating 'content' that cost the devs 10 minutes of work." Thats why I do not play multiplayer. The way it is setup is garbage and it is a waste of time to play it. Not to mention, the whole upgrading and cash grinding is a bore. Just give an online system like Grid 1, pick a car and then just race with it, without all these absurd progression nonsense. "The problem with CMs DLCs is that there was hardly any 'new' content. Many cars were recycled from GRID2 or even just switched discipline within the game. I believe the the Touring Legends DLCs was the only one with proper new content." Even if you want new content, how many tracks they can get as most are real world tracks which is the same as previous games. Still, even it is reharsh content, they did at least polish it up to a certain level that is decent. I am not expecting much with this game in the first place due to short development. AC was in development for 5 years, pCARS was 3. CM did Grid Autosport in one year without it stinks completely is quite a massive achievement. "Now to the integration of the DLCs... in GAS you get new cars that can't be used in the offline championships. The new disciplines offer additional events in a separated menu with no rewards at all after finishing them. Then there's the TimeTrial mode where the Touring Legends, for example, isn't integrated at all. For TL you don't get the same track limits as in any other series, so you can cut most corners harder. It was the same in GRID1, where you weren't able to use the new cars in the offline carreer. So in GAS you always know what is DLC, as it is integrated differently in the game than original content and THAT I don't like. It all should be seemless. I want to forget that I downloaded new stuff but that's hardly possible." I know the DLC integration sucks but evidently, CM wants to do much more than they have the time and budget to do so. At the end, I just play Custom Cup because I can setup races the way I want it to be. I aint gonna blame them as the game is made in 1 year's time that is actually far better than Grid 2. It is not a perfect game where neither pCARS or AC is too. All I am glad is, I have 3 competent racing game in the game. "Then to Assetto Corsa... you'll pay for higher quality in the future, nothing more. The game has official and extensive mod support, so you'll get virtually every track and car you want without paying a single cent." You know that AC has tonnes of utterly shit content in the game so far? Shelby Cobra, Corvette C6R, and a couple are great mod cars but vast majority of them are utterly shit content that is made with zero effort. Having mods is nice but having to filter through whole lot of rubbish isnt. Modding is a double edge sword.

@FOSTBITTEN, pCARS has Ford Fusion NASCAR licensed so far and I guess they are pursuing for more. They also got Ford Falcon for Aussie V8. I guess Toyota, Nissan and Dodge will be an attractive addition. Indy 500 is licensed too. It just that they probably wont get full NASCAR license but they are trying to pull at least a very meaty NASCAR DLC. Cam-Am cars, I am not certain as the game is pretty much short on American and Japanese manufacturers so far. They might do it if they have the chance to.

So now, pCARS, Assetto Corsa and so on has no DLCs? Mind you, even before full release, Assetto Corsa has 2 DLCs lined up. One with Spa that is free for Early Access owners and the other one with Nords. They also teased another one in far future with Oulton Park. There might be also DLCs that bring in other announced cars such as Toyota TS040, Audi R8 GT3 and Ruf CTR3 While pCARS, there is 1 DLCs in production now, there is a 90s based DLC with Mclaren F1 GTR, BMW V12 VMR and so on. Then, a few DLCs are planned such one for classic tracks DLC with classic Silverstone, Monza, Spa and so on, an Indy 500 that will be out next year when the new season starts with Ovals and probably NASCAR DLC with Aussie V8 and classic NASCARs with American tracks. There might be an Asian one too as they want to get Asian tracks like Fuji, Zhuhai, Sepang and so on. Isnt pCARS and AC also extremely greedy? Not to mention, pCARS has planned 1-2 years DLC support while AC wants to do DLCs till 2018! Any of these games have more DLCs than all the CM games combined. All the sudden CM seemed like a saint now, compared to those 2 money milking "scum". How naive for you to expect games these days with no DLC, especially the market wants it. I'll pay for a laser scan extremely detailed Nords DLC in AC or a proper V8 DLC with all the rules in pCARS. I do not mind DLCs as long as they add content to the game where it is literally impossible to have all the content in a game day 1 these days. The Legend Touring Cars DLC in Grid was great and I am looking forward to Drag now.

pCARS's Xbox and PS4 build is already submitted for certification. It is definitely coming for current gen consoles. The reason they scrapped the 360 and PS3 build is because they had to cut a lot of graphical effects for previous gen console while will not maintain the high 60 fps. They did let the backers vote for it, and most of us said might as well do it for PS4 and Xbox One since the work hasnt done much by then. Might be QC or they just want more content. If the game was released last year, we wont be getting any Audi or Aston Martin Racing in the game now. Also a few other cars like Ruf CTR3, Mclaren P1 and so on. The PC version is largely playable now with some minor bugs here and there. The console version is now in certification. They do not have a publisher so no one is forcing them to launch it last year.

That is actually a very old screenshot. The actual game does not look like this now where all these rather confusing slider actually have helpful description to explain what are they. It will be a paradise for someone to likes to tune a car's camber or gear ratios as it is very very detailed. I have access to the game where they did vastly improved the gamepad controls where you can actually play with a gamepad decently now. There are backers who owns a wheel but tries to match their times from racing with a wheel to gamepad with no assists. They managed to get fairly close, provided that if you are willing to train for it. Each car will be very different where just because you can drive a Mclaren F1, it might not mean you can drive a Ford Sierra or a Sauber C9 where both cars are known to be fairly difficult to drive in real life. I know Ford Sierra has a massive turbo lag while due to the large turbo under the hood, the car is also a bit unstable to control. I played with gamepad a lot of times which i find it very enjoyable to play with but unlike a lot of racing games, you do need to train to handle cars from different categories. The AI is solid too, where you have the options to control it's aggression, speed and so on to suit your needs while they drive pretty damn clean where you dont get AI ramming you all the time. Content wise, it will be very Euro centric, unfortunately as pCARS could not secure many American and Asian manufacturer. The game will launch with 60 to 70 cars with about 30 unique track locations that includes about 80 layout. The game hasnt gone gold yet so not everything is final now. They will bring a lot of American content in future DLCs as they could not do it justice now, as they did have full license for Indy 2015. And also official license, WEC from FIA for those Le Mans fans where Le Mans Circuit will be in the game at launch. For those who wants pits, you'll get it in spades as you have pits in pcars with full refueling, repairs to tire change. If I am not wrong, you can set a pre race pit strategy too. There will be flags system like a real race too. Also, full day night cycle with rain effects that will affect your tire grip and visibility. The only thing missing is, I think they could not implement safety car on time. For those who wants cockpit views, you'll get in spades as all the cars in pcars will have cockpit views. Each car takes about 2-4 months to make so they are extremely detailed. The PS4 version will be in 1080p with 60fps. Xbox One will be 900p at the moment with 60 fps. I think the console build does get a lot of work into it but unfortunately, we do not get access to console builds. The console builds will be pretty damn good considering a lot of current gen racing games are 1080p and 30fps. pCARS will try to achieve the 60 fps fluidity with as high resolution as it can be. Even I am proud of pCARS so far, I doubt pCARS will kill CM. It is just fairly different game from Grid or F1. It is more simulation focused with assits options for players, think something like GTR2 that you can even play it with a keyboard. pCARS is meant to be extremely accessible while offer enough depth for those who wants a racing simulation game. It is not meant to be a game that is only meant for the elite who only play a racing game with a wheel. I still think a portion of CM fans will not jump over as pCARS might seemed a bit too intimidating to them. If you like Grid, you might like pCARS, provided you want a more authentic racing game. Assetto Corsa is actually decent but it lacks of a lot of crucial features such as pits, day-night cycle and weather effects. The driving is pretty damn fun though while the FFB is amazing. I think this also another racing game with a lot of potential. There are rumors that AC will be ported to PS4 in the future. It defintiely wont be a PC exclusive forever. For those who hates DLC, avoid AC as DLC support will be up until 2018. Definitely a great time to be a PC racer or even a racer.

    Drag Pack speculations.

There are some drag specific cars in the pack. Thanks, thats good to know. Can we take those drag cars out on a circuit too? Or we only can use it in drag events?

I highly doubt we will get any new cars. Probably just 3-5 drag strip and the new drag mode.

Cat C vs. Touring Car Legends

The 12 cars should be fixed soon, will be upped to 16 :) Thank you!!! Didnt expect this fix is coming. Would be it possible to have 16 cars for Street class too? Oh, god no. 12 is plenty for street circuits.  Then, why should I have only 12 cars on Brands Hatch? When almost every other class has 16.

  12. Ok, so give us for 3 Euros with their liveries too of course and will be fine! Take your time no hurry You seemed like you dont understand what Loore said. Those cars are not coming to Autosport. And I doubt they are in the same level as Cat A touring. The thing that make me go crazy is that codies made so many useless dlc with useless street cars that dobody cares and they left out these two awesome cars!!! This is what i don't understand and i will never understand....simply madness and laziness! nothing else to say.. If they dont want to do those touring cars, then, just let them be. It is not like they will release it once you ask them. What is there to do with laziness? Bring cars to another game isnt as easy as you think as there are licensing issues to deal with, physics tweaking, AI, and art assets upgrade. The road cars arent too bad to begin with as most of them are pretty fun to drive while touring cars is the largest discipline in the whole game. Having Touring Legends is great for touring. It is one of the most enjoyable class in the game.

Is this the upcoming TOURING CAR DLC?

Really hope this DLC will be good. Will the Touring DLC come with the Surfer's Paradise track that was teased in the achievements?
