Skill or not, it's still a weird concept that I personally just can't enjoy for the life of me. I simply fail to see the point. And, like SamRWD, I too hope Ken Block stays very far away from future rally games, and leave them to actual rallying.

in this time in the world where nothing can be said but many think it its easy to just say everything is fine. still stands many cant stand him. I don't hate the dude, but imagine how great Dirt 3 would have been without his involvement. ;)

Oh I have huge respect for the engineering behind it all. I just wish it wouldn't look so boring.

Clearly you and I have very different ideas of "savage". :P Most modern stuff manages to look so bland regardless of how quick they're going.

Anything dudebro hoonigan gymkhana related is just cringeworthy in my book.

Last rally game I remember with actual thunderstorms in it.

So if somebody does not share your taste in games, they automatically have bad taste? I like this logic. Man, how can you like metal snake solid. That is such a bad game. You have such poor taste.

Pretty sure he meant **** as in the stuff that comes out of the rear of most creatures.

Yeah Chili doesn't look too grippy. -
He. No. He broke their necks and skinned them. Needed them for supper.

It’s just something I do in my old age now :D What next? I bet you’ll try and convince us that the Easter bunny isn’t real! Of course the easter bunny isn't real. a 6 foot tall rabbit that poops painted eggs and candy? Santa Claus though, that's a different story. I never stopped believing in you big guy! Just get me another DiRT game for Christmas! My grandad shot the Easter bunny a couple of years ago. Long story short there was 15 adults crying with laughter and 5 children crying because the easter bunny was dead All this time I thought @RallyDriven was a farmer, turns out he's actually a redneck. And what are you doing @Rallycameraman? This is the GOSSIP thread, not the FACT thread... my grandad just really dislikes rabbits apparently, no matter how many children believe that said rabbit was the easter bunny Now I instantly got the rabbit scene from Pet Cemetary 2 in my head... Clancy Brown is such a classy actor.

I can't tell you not to enjoy it, of course - each to their own! I'm just saying that it's nothing like Sweden at all. Dirt Rally's version was much, much closer to reality. Probably because they used real stages as reference but yeah! :D I personally really like Wales in Dirt 4 though, while some others do not. Different strokes for different folks. I don't know how accurate it is compared to the real thing. I just know I like the roads.

I'm talking about Sweden, not the physics.
-
Yeah Dirt 4's Sweden was pretty poor for some reason. Not "some" reason, it's actually quite obvious. Too many crests/bumps/terrain changes. It's a rollercoaster. I meant more along the lines of "they did it so well in Dirt Rally, so how did they manage to ruin it in Dirt 4?" :D

This further ruins my day. And sorry Christina, but it is impossible for me to hit "like" on your post. Because I hate it. :(

I read it as the dude got pissed for Tänak beating them on the leaderboard. Guess I misunderstood. I haven't watched the rally yet. -

If it works, why change it? -
But Dirt 4 would have been great if it had proper physics. I still personally rank D4 higher than DR because I don't fly 96,000 miles into orbit for looking at a bump in the road, which was a frequent occurence in DR. Also FH3 succeeded because it's an arcade racer that caters to the masses, with big rewards for tiny amounts of effort.
