Hmm, Fjord is often pronounced as just Ford, which means either we are getting more Fords or a wily haired ginger with a towel. I have never heard fjord pronounced as ford. :0

I'd say you're looking into it a bit too much...

To be honest the main thing putting me off from trying WRC 7 out is the incredibly poor sounds. I had the same issue with SLRE. If the sounds had just been average instead of sh*t I'd have both of them in my Steam library. The cars sound as though vacuum cleaners and squirrel throat singers joined forces and produced some weird lovechild. DR & D4 has spoiled me rotten in this aspect. I just cannot fathom how people can tolerate this garbage that Kylotonn is trying to pull off, but that's just me. I can't even finish watching any of the videos you guys have posted because the cars sound so bad. When it comes to fiddling with controls for hours on end to get the FFB to feel just right, I wouldn't mind doing that if the rest of the game was worthwhile. It really should be standard for any racing/rally game though to support multiple device inputs. I honestly don't see what the issue is. If a 17 year old game by DICE can do it, why can't Kylotonn? I doubt I'd have much problems with my G27, but after seeing people refund the game because of this issue I can understand their frustration. Maybe I'll buy the game in the future if I have some spare cash, and there's been a sound mod released. Right now it's not worth a penny for me.

My farts can produce a more realistic rally car noise than those of... well any WRC title, really. That alone should tell you how little effort they put into this title.
-
Fun thing is, Rally Masters from the giddy year of 2000 supports multiple device inputs when setting up controls. Kylotonn literally has zero excuses as to why they haven't implemented such a basic function. They're lazy and care very little about the end product. S'all about money.

No.

I'm amazed people even bother getting hyped over a WRC game in this day and age. EDIT: loltypo

I don't know about you lot, but I have yet to feel that I've driven the same stage twice.

What do you expect? Last great game they did was on the PS2.

And to awaken the gossip thread from its slumber, here's a lovely onboard I found: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsA6haeTmEI

I wouldn't want any DLC's myself, I'd much prefer to see fixes to existing problems first.

real life 2020 FIA World Rally Championship

My guess is that this is due to Loeb being Loeb, and Ogier being Ogier. ;) -
Vajb had the same problem in his weekly, and he did not quit before starting the first stage. Not sure how this bug occurs. EDIT: Forgot to mention - his name failed to appear on the leaderboards after one of the stages. Did this occur to you as well?
-
I think they have implemented tyre temperatures, because I noticed in last (or the one before that) week's weekly in Spain that my Metro was a bit skittish, but the further I got along the stage, the more grip I had, and could attack harder! I asked Paul if this was the case, but didn't get an answer.

Have a great time Paul! Get some well-earned rest.

Dirt 4 is calling you again SirPhil... :o 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle? Yup, a Chevelle SS. I was afraid of saying "SS" as the logo is absent from the grille. I'm no expert on the matter, but it has such a unique look about it that I just instantly knew it was a Chevelle, at least.
