Oh yes, I think my problems contributed to this. :D But I didn't go off the road at least! The handling characteristics and FFB when the rear springs snaps becomes very, very interesting. Don't think my misfires slowed me down that much though.

Grip levels are completely different, kind of hard to compare them. I just feel the butt of the cars in Dirt 4 should kick out more, especially during handbrake turns. I see, other than that do the physics and handling model feel like an improvement over dirt rally? Or is it to early to really give a solid opinion? Massive improvement. I just love the cars' weight and aerodynamics, and how they interact with the road. I love the new damage system too. I had an... interesting weekly, to say the least. Best virtual rally experience I've ever had. That could never happen in Dirt Rally. Awesome, hearing that from the best just reinforces the hype. Next Friday can't come soon enough. Just one more question. How has the co driver been now that you've played for awhile? Any noticeable sync issues? My only issue thus far has been a couple of late calls. It's a pleasure listening to both the welsh wizard and the Horsey woman.

To be fair, the 037 in Dirt 4 is indeed easier to drive than the one in DR - but it does slap you around if you get cocky. One moment you're heading down the road, the next you're facing the forest. Throttle control still applies. The default setup makes it kind of understeery though.

I'll put my Dirt 4 onboards in the replay thread from now on, to avoid spamming this beautiful thread. ;)

That was the first car I bought for my own money in Dirt 4! I have yet to encounter an event that lets me use it though. That bothered me sooooo much, and of course you point it out... I should pour breadcrumbs in your beard. It's so finely oiled they will instantly turn into croutons.  Oiled? Man that's why it looks so gorgeous. I only brush mine.
