So if power unit upgrades are being made by Merc we know this be passed down to customer teams. However why do we have access in MyTeam and also career of a customer? Will our upgrades go back up to? E.g McLaren power unit upgrade goes to Renault and visa vesa?

I’m not surprised. The difference between the two in terms of game play isn’t that much. I never got 2019 so I’m playing 2018 now before 2020.

Yes I agree too. You just want to have that in depth career or my team mode you need that. I get the odd one when you start a session but you lose 5 minutes or 2 minutes it’s just not the same

I don’t play multiplayer. I don’t have the ability to lock in specific time or day to play. So my perspective is offline

Wet-dry and AI Pit strategy. Yeah that’s two but linked some what. The drying time is too quick and you cannot make a strategy when it rains. It’s very rigid when you pit for wets and back to drys. You cannot make a gamble for a couple of laps and gain a lot of time.

Have it as an option but o don’t think it’ll bring much to the game really. You’d then have to program pit entry and parc femme at the end.

Let's not get too hyped! I fired up 2018 and was presented with this buggy situation. Bottas was stuck driving around with the pit limiter on and a big crash with multiple penalties.

Yes there is a beta and usually 300 per platform and it’s invite only.
It doesn’t really polish the game though

How many will have short memories of the previous games? I’m holding out until the first proper reviews and bugs come out.
Year on year now we’ve had announcement, hype and then the beta. The Youtubers get a copy and will always talk good of it. Then it comes out and same bugs surface.

PEGI rating should not be a issue, as FIFA, which is also rated as PEGI3, has many questionable sponsors, such as Carlsberg, Heineken, Singha, Chang and or Lyft, in it.

Keep dreaming everyone. This series is stuck in the same old loop. Release in the summer, patch hard but same bugs keep occurring. Support will end soon. Then about April it’ll begin to hype again with talk of the next version.
Yes great ideas but Codies are stuck with what they can fox and implement. They’re fixing the same things each year with patches. It’s not implementing new things. They do not have the time or resources to produce a well polished game.

I believe it may be the opposite actually as F1 2019 is the first official videogame to come out after the Netflix documentary and a lot of new interest by non-fans. Very rarely do more than around 100-1000 people announce proudly how they won't buy the game because of microtransactions. So far we have had less than 10.

Obvious this was going to happy. They asked about micro transactions in their end of season survey a couple of years ago.
The game looks the same as 2018, the F2 is just three races.
Codies have lost quite a few customers.

Formula One on the PS1 was an exceptional game. Yeah I have never changed my settings on a controller. Should all be default. As @BarryBL stated, use the racing line. Have it 2D if you find it annoying to learn the tracks. I turn it on for France as I don’t know it even now!
