Wow, that was an incredible run!  Great job man.  One of these days I'm going to just sit with 1 car/stage for awhile see how high I can get on the leaderboards.  I had a top 30 on a Finland stage once, but that was only a few days after the stages released probably in the hundreds now lol.

Yeah it's Monte, gotta remember half the time we watch replays we have an in or on car shot that you wouldn't see this side of the stage.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't get too excited about a car release pack too much.  We have so many great rally cars already of all different types throughout the years.  More than enough diversity IMO, don't get me wrong the more the better but... I'd 100% like more stages and new features instead but hey, maybe I'm just being a negative nancy.

R4 is like an S2000 right?  Pretty much a non-turbo version of the WRC car?  I'm not too keen on all the different classes.

It's nice to be optimistic, but do you guys forget Milestone made WRC 1-4?  They have always done the same shit, all the "demos" or whatever the preview guys get say nothings final and physics aren't implemented etc.  Then when it's finally released it looks and drives the exact same way.  Bad graphics, horrible sounds, and boring generic physics with stages that have a hairpin every 3 feet. I couldn't play WRC 1 2, or 4 because it wouldn't support my CSW and Clubsport pedals.  WRC 3 did, but none of the other ones, and they never patched it.  Given their record I bet they added in those engine sounds in the new trailer, in the gameplay vids earlier it was the same computer generated popcorn machines traveling through hell sound. I personally can't see this company doing anything that even comes close to what we have with DR.  They have always been a hack.  I'd love to be surprised by SLRE, but I'm not being optimistic about it considering who is making it.

You could look for a Momo black as well. Pretty much the same thing. Great value for the money. The DFGT is MILES better than the shit-tastic Momo.  Do not buy that wheel.  Weak FFB, limited rotation, tiny diameter wheel rim.  Stay away.

Good.  They should be criticized and pummeled for releasing TRASH.  Feel bad for the people who spent their money on it.

I have a DFGT that works perfectly I'd sell you but I'm guessing you live in Europe, cause you know, you're fast.

Do NOT buy WRC5, not even worth a pirate.  I watched a stream of a steam friend of mine for awhile last night, it's horrid. 

I'm guessing the modern masters will be 2 of the 2015 spec cars.  The Ford and maybe the Polo.

Really hope it's not the basic ass blue/white liveries for the Ford, so boring.  It's a legendary rally car but without the Mcrae livery it doesn't have that same impact.

Good things coming!  Finland, V2 physics for much more cars than we thought, Impreza sounds, the return of the gravel sounds, mouse support.  Hoping for this coming Monday!!

No new achievements yet, doesn't look like a Monday release.  Will just have to wait and see what the roadbook says tomorrow.

Makes sense to me! If not all 34 km between two stages, at least pretty close. Just doing some dangerously rough guesstimating, looking on juwra.com at the top speeds through the most recent runs through Ouninpohja, Hafren, and Panzerplatte Lang, they're about 129, 105, and 107 km/h respectively. So that makes Ouninpohja about 22% faster. Extending the longest stage in DR (Oberstein) by 22% would make it over 14 km, which would be run in the same time (at 130 km/h) as the current stages (at 105 km/h). Science! Is it a coincidence that @Kickup was the first to 'like' that comment, or is there some other reason behind his actions... And that seems more like Maths than Science, but maybe as a mathematician I'm just biased. Ahh, nice find!  That could be a good indication!

I like all this speculation about the cars, but cmon Finland is right around the corner!!  What are your speculations on which stage was modeled?  They said that the Finland stages are a little longer to make up for the speed you go through them, my guess (and hope) is Ouninpohja.  It's 34km which split in half into two mid length stages would be 17km which is a little longer than the longest stages we have so far.  If they follow the current model they have done stages that seems the most likely to me. Makes sense right?  I hope so!  I have been trying to complete Ouninpohja on RBR for the last couple nights with no major incidents, unsuccessfully lol.  What a roller coaster butthole clenching stage that is, dear lord.

I could have sworn it was mentioned by the devs that 2 cars are coming with the Finland pack that have the V2 physics.  Finland and refined physics.... can't wait!!
