Well we know that the CM team will be in Loheac next weekend for the World Rallycross. I wonder if they are there just to spectate, or to research the circuit? Might just be checking out the local property market.

Just watched the onboards from panzerplatte, and I really hope the next DR will capture just how abrasive the old concrete roads are.

Exhaust doesn't look OEM (unless the Euro spec cars got a different backbox) and it's obviously sitting lower on the coilovers, but looks pretty standard otherwise. Would like to see under the bonnet!  EDIT: Just looked at the interior shot. The pillar mounted boost gauge isn't standard either.  Yup, the only custom seems to be exhaust and coilovers. I would throw away the gauge in an instant. And to be honest, nothing is certain when it comes to cars for sale. Would have to look at it to make a judgement. I find it rather surprising the back arches are free of rust. Kinda unique for a GT! Absolutely, pictures can hide many sins! Yeah, rear arches are always the first place rust seems to strike on the GC Impreza. That looks good in the picture, though it's worth having a good nose underneath.  Check if it's a cat back exhaust or a straight through system: if it's straight through then the car should have been remapped.  Ok. I actually went straight from work to have a look at it. The condition is at first glance very very good. The back arches looked flawless. It was a 3" system straight through. The owner didn't know if it had been remapped or not. He took the car as a trade for another car not long ago. There was also an open dump valve, which I'm not that fond of as I would want the car as original as possible. Yeah, back to the standard re-circ would be my first move as well! If it's running a 3" straight through system it definitely should have been remapped, so I'd get that checked as a first priority.  You need to remove the arch liners and boot trim for a really good look around, but clear rear arches sound promising.  I'm biased, but I'd say buy it! I'm sure decent GC Impreza's are going to be future classics.  Update on this story. I really wasn't going to buy this car. However, I said thanks but no thanks. It's out of budget at this time. He asked what my budget was and I said 4500EUR, but I"m not gonna offer that because it really is too low of an offer. After that. there was an hour of silence and then a text." Ok, I can sell you the car for 4500 just because I know you appreciate it and I need money for my Supra". ****. I really didn't expect that and really had no plans for a new car :open_mouth: It was meant to be! :-D

Great rally overall. Meekes pace has been just fantastic, with Latvala following suit. Craig Breen doing surprisingly well. But the star of the rally for me has been Tänak. Just the mental strength to keep going so hard after all his troubles is quite impressive.

Tänak, poor bastard. But daaaamn, he's back on the attack to say the least. I have a sneaking suspicion that he's going to get involved in the podium fight before the end :-)

Wonder how Finland will go. Latvala is always strong on his home turf, but I suspect Ogier is so hungry for a win that he'll take Finland this time. Will be kind of awesome if Tänak has the mental strength to keep the pace up from Poland though, he really deserves a win this year.

We are mostly just looking for rare Pokemon, mostly. Sooooooo... where are your favourite pokemon locations so far? Are the rare ones found mostly on tarmac, gravel or maybe even on sand? 

If memory serves, Codies have been spotted at many more locations aswell. So I'm still quite convinced that they're gathering source material for the next rally game. Not that I'd mind a DLC package with another location for DR if that would be the case :-)

Maybe some hints in todays road book @KickUp and @Hatward? Some nice obscure but juicy tidbit would be quite sufficient to whet our appetites ;-)

WRC6 is actually looking decent :-) Hope it'll be a nice simcade alternative while we wait for DR2.

Guess they had to patch up some ugly spots in the tracks that were far more visible when you could look around in VR.

I'm in Sweden, and here we have "the knife law". Which is rather abstract by reason. It pretty much says that if the police considers what you carry a weapon, then it's illegal. So I can carry a sharp sword to practice without much problem as long as I'm clearly on my way to practice (it's a training tool), but carrying a hammer to a football game (as a weapon) would be illegal. For example, one reenactor forgot to leave his weapons at home when he went to the library and got arrested because he really shouldn't carry them there, while carrying them to and from the reenactment event would be completely fine. There, that was enough sword derailment for now I guess ;-) I'm still a bit curious as to whether PSVR will be supported. I can pretty much get a PS4 and a PSVR headset for the same amount of cash that just the oculus/vive HMD costs, so it would be quite cost effecient just for VR gaming. Hard to tell if it's any good though.

That looks bloody awesome. I'm really fighting that urge to upgrade the PC and get a VR headset... *looks at empty wallet due to sword addiction*

I have a feeling Ott will move to a more competitive team for 2017. Maybe Hyundai or Toyota?  As for Ostberg, I'm not so sure. He seems to be quite relaxed even with his quite poor results this year, so my suspicion is that he's either quitting after this season or he's made arrangements with another team for next year. 

Onboard for Tänaks penultimate stage is up on WRC+. Can't really see what caused the puncture, but didn't look like he made any errors. Thought I heard som swear words about dmack in the end... Considering his tyres I think his performance is all the more impressive.
