Poor Ott, he really deserved that victory after all the struggles with the tyres. Not taking anything away from Mikkelsen though, he's done one hell of a rally. Ogier going off to pick up both Otts spirit and body was a real feelgood moment :-)

I see this whole season as a prelude to 2017 :-) The overall league will go to Ogier as usual, but it's nice to see a lot of drivers getting that crucial morale boost of winning against him this season. 

So... Mikkelsen keeping the pace from the second half of Sardinia, Paddon back in pace, Tänak seems to be keeping pace with his dmacks. Will be interesting if any of them can get a big enough gap to challenge Ogier for his sunday push.

Modern WRC cars are about the same size as the group B Pug 205 and Delta S4. So it's not like they've shrunk to miniatures.

I just just realized that for the next game we'll hopefully have the 2017 WRC spec cars... *droooools*

Have we gotten any new information about what M-Sport are bringing to the table for 2017 yet? We know it's a Fiesta, and that it's a brand new build. Anything else?

I was following it on WRC+ when it happened, saddened me to see Paddon disappear just when he was getting up to speed. And Ott, when he finally gets tyres that work and his car seems competitive, and then this happens :-/ Oh well, Meekes performance shows great promise for next year. And great to see a lot of drivers in the mix for the top spots again :-)

v3 physics for DR will be awesome :-) Wonder if all the times will be reset when it happens though.

The 208 is just plain wrong. If the 208 drove anything like it does in DR, Loeb would have died screaming over the first best cliff.  It sure has tremendous power and is very light, but it's clearly have grip to match it when looking at the onboard. It does feel more slippery than it should, but I sometimes ask myself if it isn't due to us pushing the cars far harder than you would in real life aswell. Last time I drove the 208PP on all tarmac I tried to drive it as fast as the grip allowed, without being risky. I made some smaller errors on some hairpins resulting in 5-10 seconds lost, but did a good and solid run. End result? 10 seconds off Loebs IRL PP run. Intrigued, I checked his onboard. I had taken the same lines, on the same gears, and gotten the same time. And while I held that pace, the car actually was pretty planted and controllable.

*looks at Camilli* Elfyn should replace him. We'll see. But I personally look forward to see what Evans can do coming straight from a succesful WRC2 season.

I so want the guys from Evolution Studios to up the technical side of Codemasters games. Ego engine was good when it launched, but it's severely outdated at this point. And if you add the fact that both Codies and Evo guys are one of the best developers out there when it comes to optimisation... the future looks more than bright for not only the potato users/console peasants but also #PCMasterRace xD Or at least those are my wet "graphics fanatic" part of me dreams. After DiRT Rally, I'm probably gonna take whatever they show up blind. Unless it will be called "DiRT Adventures of Ken Block" or something xD Yup, Codies have earned a free "shut up and take my money" pass from me for the foreseeable future :-)

Yeah I think Paddon's been in the second team all season, with Sordo and Neuville in the primary team. 

What excites me a bit about Paddon is that it feels like he hasn't reached his peak performance yet. With the exception of Meeke I just don't feel like there's any other driver right now that has the potential to really go a full championship against Ogier. 

Just watched Paddons onboard from the power stage... and that was some awesome driving. I only saw one small mistake for the whole run (you hear Haydens "aaaarrrrrhhg" on the intercom :-) ). The hysterical laughter when they realize they've won... classic :-D

I have to watch the onboard from that last run as soon as it's up on WRC+. The fact that Paddon had the mental strength to come back and win the last stage after losing 20 seconds on the stage before really bodes well for the future.

Yeah it doesn't look good. When Seb is flying like that he's hard to beat. But El Condor is El Condor, anything can happen. I just hope that Paddon doesn't crasch out.

I really love seeing Paddon up there, hope he can keep it together today and get his first win.
