Of course you're welcome, and well driven! 🙂 Yeay! Welcome back! 😄 It takes a little while to get into the swing of things, but DR 2.0's handling model is just sooooooo enjoyable.

I started out Argentina horribly, two really slow slides off after being a bit unused to the new setup. Then managed to keep level with Mirk, but couldn't catch up. Tried to push a bit on SS6, but misjudged how little grip the worn softs had and slid a bit wide and spun on the fast section 😕 After that I just brought it home. Hope it'll be enough for a top 10 finish, but meeeh.

Quite a bit. I had no setup for gravel for the Polo, so I went at it vanilla. Changed the gearing a bit at first service, but that was it. Might've found a bit more courage if I'd spent more time on setup I guess. Jebus, that was close. We had almost identical times on the last two stages... So... game on! 😄

Ok run, didn't quite feel confident enough to push hard so went for getting to the finish line. Could've squeezed out a few more seconds from the Polo, but no chance for me to keep up with @Snaky115.

Same for me, couldn't create championship when Monte was in it. Just got a 404 reply. -
DiRT Rally 2.0: General Clubs Discussion
Dytut replied to PJTierney's topic in DiRT Rally 2.0 Clubs & Leagues
Allright, think I've spotted a decently severe bug with the overall results. In the Expert Dirt league you set up I ended up on P33 after the first event (I'm Arete on steam). https://dirtrally2.com/clubs/club/179043/results/championship/0/event/0 But looking at the current standings, it does not seem to reflect the result of the first event: https://dirtrally2.com/clubs/club/179043/standings/current/ For example, I didn't get a single point (I'm Dytut on racenet). Batatas who got a full 200 points is only 3rd in event 1. In general, it looks quite weird. Think you have to bugfix the Championship standings. -
2/4/1 would be my choice. 4 stages makes it risky to use softs.

I always pack a spare except for dailies. And with hardcore damage it takes so little to puncture.

Whoooooo! I did a run through, love that clubs are in! ****** drive on my part, but what the hell. Managed to roll on SS2, and SS6 was complete ****. Went off twice, and managed to nudge a wall at high speed and got a rear puncture which I stopped and fixed. Suffice to say, I won't win this one 🙂

All cars don't have all settings, simply because the settings are available on the real life cars. Older shocks didn't have fast/slow rebound, newer cars have them and can set the threshold between them. This is an actual improvement of the barebones setup of DR1, where the suspension is modeled more accurately in DR2.

DiRT Rally 2.0 - In-Game Server Connectivity [CM Note: Check first post]

Last two hours it has been flawless, so looks stable now. -
I'm fine with it trying to file results with racenet when possible, but not even being able to do events when racenet is down is just silly.

I'm in!

real life 2020 FIA World Rally Championship
Dytut replied to Fedemaisonnave's topic in DiRT Rally 2.0
No news, and I doubt any new team will join before 2022 when the new regulations kick in. If WRC/FIA can manage to deliver regulations this year as promised I wouldn't be surprised to see some new teams sign up for when it (most likely) goes hybrid in the next gen. Mitsubishi would be a prime candidate, among others. -

Just saw the news. I'd expect Mikkelsen to drive gravel rounds still, but I doubt he has a future at Hyundai next season. -

Great round in Sweden, would've been even better if Suninen and Latvala had kept on the road to give Tänak som opposition. Great battle for the rest of the positions, love when it's still rather open for the last day. Tänak impressed, as he usually does. Begs the question if anyone will be able to stop him this year. Ogier was really fast but that off cost him dearly. Best of the rally for me was the Neuville fightback and Lappis response to it, that was a back and forth and it was fun to see Lappi being able to hold his ground at the end. Mikkelsen went OK, he still doesn't seem like he can get up to speed. Still a decent result for him. It was interesting to see how Tidemand did. He had some decent speed at some stages, but I still feel like he would've needed to show more to really impress enough to get more drives this year. -

Yeah too bad about Suninen, I was rooting for him to at least keep fighting with Tänak. Unfortunately a bit too unexperienced to keep that high pace over a full rally still. Just a few seconds betwen P2 and P4 tomorrow, so will be a nice fight for second at least. -

There's still decent amounts of snow left, so there will be snowbanks. Hopefully it's cold enough that the road surface stays frozen. In other news, the lineup for this year is bloody awesome. Loeb and Grönholm as an added bonus in the top class, and the R5 lineup is really top notch. Can't remember last time there were so many big names just in R5. I counted 9 potential winners. -

Yeah we got some sudden warm weather after having really good snow conditions for the last few weeks 😕 Hope the night time cold will be able to keep the roads decently frozen. -
So where will the gossip continue during #gossipcrisis2019 when the forum stops working?

Yeah what a battle between Ogier and Neuville, I really thought Neuville was going to take it. Also, Tänaks fightback to third was great to see. Meekes pace was encouraging, will be fun to see what he can do now. -

Just Latvia and Estonia confirmed for Oliver in that article. And probably some WRC rounds once he turns 18 later in the year. So no indications of US outing with KMS. -

Finally get to see Loeb drive the i20: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-Td3OB7Na0 Dunno, it seems to look good at least :-) -
Gimmeh clubs with the option of custom point management so we can do old style WRC points, or modern points with power stages and stuff like that. Would be awesome.

Link? That would seriously open up the possibility, that we might get Full-Length stages of the DR1 DLCs. 20km full Col de Turini, 20km Sweden, or 20km Panzerplatte plus extra Vineyard-stage maybe...? Stop getting me aroused!
