  1. Jebus, the Cossie in tight spaces really is a hard work. Felt like I had to throw it in like a madman in every turn, and doing scandinavian flicks with that big car in argentina meant... spins. Many spins. Did manage to kind of keep up with @baunau on the clean stages, but felt like real hard work. Did find some flow in SS2 somehow, then I lost the feeling on the next stage. Weird when that happens.

  2. Did my run through the US with the cossie. Didn't quite find my rhythm, so was a lot of sliding around not getting the power down. Mainly clean, but misheard a not in the dark on ss2 and got a reset from going into the emergency crew at a 1 right, and on SS6 I messed up royally. Slid out on a tricky 3 left, hit a rock and punctured 😕 Decided to change tyres ASAP. Then drove the rest like a mess.

I was nearly 2 minutes slower than you @BluecatRally allthough i felt quite allright 😂 tell me something about being last

lets see who will be better at the end of the championship 💪🏼

btw in monaco I was the faster one by 20 seconds.

Thats the fun part about this kind of League, you pick a reference opponent that you try to beat 🙂 I always have @baunau as my reference. On the rare occasions that I beat him I know I've done a good event 🙂

  4. Sweden done, much more enjoyable with the Cossie than Monte 🙂 Felt like I had decent rhythm at times, but lost confidence at parts. No major drama, manage to overspin slightly on 3-4 sharp corners and had to reverse after getting stuck in the snowbank, but only lost about 4-6 seconds each time so not that huge. The fast peeps will demolish my times, but hoping for a top 10 finish 🙂

So yeah, something like two weeks.

I'm just sad we won't get any kind of (more or less) cryptic teaser before the official announcement. We like gossip !

Please don't encourage them, or else we'll get the impossibly weird cryptos again 😛

I'm using a Vive.   Depending on the car, sometimes the overexposure is insane.  In many of the RX cars, even on max low brightness, everything outside the vehicle is barely visible with how overexposed it is.

Nope, I've just pretty much tried to learn to deal with it. I with CM would add virtual contrast glasses that we could put on at will in sweden.

    Hi all, quick update.

A fix for this will be in 1.12 afterall 🙂

(Patch notes aren't finalised yet so more comments are getting added before we publish)

Nice mate, thanks 🙂 Looking forward to some VR rallycross once 1.12 hits then 🙂

Could I see some screenshots or gameplay footage of your game then? To show that you have no visibility problems. The kind of screenshots that show long straights and open areas, not the selective short-distance screenshots. You could also take a screenshot from this same spot and share so we can compare. Kailajärvi, daytime/overcast, a short distance from start after a left corner. Let's see how clear your game is.

Of course if you want to explain which settings to change I'm all ears.

I personally just can't see how that can affect you. It's a bit foggy, but visibility is still pretty much the same. It's not like night stages where you see way too short.

  9. Well the Cossie was quite a handful on Monte, really hard to judge the turbo lagg 😛

    I had three goals:

    1. Reach the finish
    2. Don't puncture
    3. Don't have too many spins (hey, I'm realistic)

So I had a slow run through where I just tried to learn how to drive the car. Was fun, got some enjoyment out of it, and I think I managed to keep it down to just one spin per stage. Go ahead, blast my times now 🙂

I will probably only participate on a select few rallies, as I have some other occupations at the moment. Good Luck to all now for the first Season of 2020!

Thank you for your work on the league @SkyRex, this is my favourite league 🙂

Very disappointed not to see Meeke or Breen in the M-Sport line up. Greensmith is a wasted seat in my personal opinion.

As I've understood it Meeke and Malcolm don't get along that well, so not surprised. And Breen seem to be more in the Hyundai camp at the moment.

I kind of get the M-Sport lineup for this year, as it's kind of like last year. Suninen still shows promise and will probably not be too expensive, and if he blooms he can do great things. E-P is kind of the same, he has great speed but kind of fades at times. And as he's completely out of a contract and still has to show if he has the potential to actually win the championship later on, I think he's the best choice. Out of Breen and E-P, I see E-P as more of a future champ than Breen if I'm to be quite honest. Also, since Breen kind of has a contract at the moment, he's probably a lot more expensive than E-P.

Greensmith was a bit of a surprise, but also very in tune with how M-Sport wants to do the season. He did show good speed in his few outings, so no surprise that they want to try him out for a few more. And as with the others, he reeeeeally wants a seat so he's probably dirt cheap.

  12. So M-Sport has announced their lineup, which I like for what they're trying to do.

Lappi and Suninen as main team, Greensmith doing 9 events.

    So what question marks remain?

We have the main team drivers ready for each team, the question is if Hyundai and Toyota will send out a B-team aswell. We know that Toyota probably will have Latvala on a few rallies under Makinen racing, and also that Katsuta will have a few outings.

Hyundai has hinted that they want to field Breen in a fourth car a few times. Although we know from the past year that Adamo isn't afraid to mix up his driver lineup if he wants to. Mikkelsen might show up in that B-team aswell, though I doubt it.

I wonder if any of the teams will give Solberg a chance for a round or two if he proves himself in WRC2?

  13. It's generally cosmetic, don't think it impacts performance noticeably. Most cars in DR2 don't have that much aero on them, so body damage wouldn't hurt that much anyways.

Of the body damage that would impact performance, I'd say the rear wing should be most noticeable. Especially on group B cars. Haven't really tried damaging it just to see if something happens with the aero.

Other than that, it's mostly front dive planes and maybe diffusers that could do a bit of difference.

But I haven't really tried to make comparisons of how much of an impact it has. I think it's a good idea to repair as the body protects the inner workings of the car.

  14. Argentina was bad for me, been a long time since I pushed there and I actually felt som VR sickness. Punctures didn't do much to help either 😛

Fun season everyone! My goal was to try to find some speed again and win one stage on one rally, which I managed 😄 Going to be fun next season, hoping for some RWD action since I really need to get better at them.

@ApexAzimuth and @jnco89, good luck with your fight for the championship!
