Impressive pace yet again @jnco89 🙂 And about lucky, yeah... Each of my spins could've easily ended with a puncture, or with a real off like @ApexAzimuth. But as so many successful athletes say, the better you get the more luck you seem to have.

That's weird...
Oh well, we have fun news:
https://www.wrc.com/en/wrc/news/december-2019/pirelli-tyres/page/6910--12-12-.html
It's confirmed, Pirelli tyres for next year. New tyres means more unpredictable stuff as the drivers get used to it, which is something I always like 🙂

Greece was fun, as usual 🙂
Felt like a decent run, except that I had dialed in my settings wrong. Lost about 40-50 seconds in total on 4 spins when the back end suddenly just snapped out. Should've loosened the rear antiroll a bit and I think it would've stayed on track.

Come on Malcolm, show some guts and get Oliver Solberg in a WRC car 😄

Has anyone heard any gossip of who's going to M-Sport?

Consistently 15-20 seconds slower on every stage, as usual 😛 Just can't find the confidence to push.

Oh yes, plateauing is a thing 🙂 Feels like no progress, and all of a sudden you're way faster than before and it all feels quite easy. I had this in DR 1, was slow as hell and then one day just suddenly started to be able to battle with the fast peeps like a lot of people in this league.

What's up with SS2? Everyone DNF:s 🏴

My network is solid, 100/100 mbit fiber and no issues.
So you've managed to get it working sometimes? Any pattern on why it'd work? Certain circuits or cars?

I was first on the road in australia. Felt like a decent run, no big mistakes but every time I pushed it felt like I was close to an accident. SS3 was kind of bad, made a lot of small errors in the tight sections there. Will most likely be beaten by 20 seconds on every stage as usual.

So, is there anyone that can use VR with online rallycross?
I can start the lobby and all, but when the race is about to start and the view should switch to VR wraparound, nothing happens for a few seconds then it says I'm disconnected. Seems to happen to others aswell.Game works fine in VR for career rallycross.
I'm on Steam version, Oculus Rift S.
@PJTierney, can you shed some light on this issue?

So note that rally japan is most definitely not denied 😽

Hmmm... are they trying to be sneaky. I mean, everyone can hear that's a Subaru.
But Subaru is a Japanese car... RALLY JAPAN IS COMING!

Definitely sounds like a Subaru. Can it be an old Legacy?

Well Monte was complete and utter failure.
Put on winter tyres, changed my setup to one I had done on a daily, and set off. SS1 felt OK, sloppy but good for being me. SS2 went quite allright, until I overcommited a bit, touched the rockside and spun.... and punctured my rear right. Figured it was about 1/3 of the stage left, so ran with the puncture. Was going to gun it in SS3, but when I started I still had only the rim on the rear right.... Oh ****, I had loaded my setup _after_ I had set up my tyres, which means I had 0 spares in there since the setup had 0.
Figured I'd complete anyways, but running the whole SS3 with 3 wheels wasn't the most fun I've ever had 😉
Managed to puncture again on SS5, but then I just put the spare on straight away.

Greensmith is a possibility, he did show potential. Tidemand... naah. I sadly don't think he has what it takes, was just too slow.

Just did Sweden. Knew I wouldn't have a chance against @MongoJon [VR], but was heartbreaking to see how much behind I was. Did the first round on pretty much vanilla settings, and lost a bit by 5th being way too short.
Lengthened the gears a bit for second pass, but could've gone a bit further. Did start to get somewhat of a feel for the car in SS6, but by then it was way too late. Need to have a looooot more commitment than I drive with to even get close to Jon's times 🙂

Is that the "right 4..... tightens into" *smacks into the bridge*?

Third car split between Breen and Paddon.
No seat for Lappi or Mikkelsen.
You heard it wrong here first folks!
Meeke and Malcolm don't quite gel, do they?
I'd wager a guess that it's Suninen and Breen, and the third car will be split between different drivers. Paddon, Mikkelsen, Ostberg, Lappi. Your pick 😉

USA done, but I just can't seem to find pace there. On the other hand, no big crashes since I go so slow. Surprisingly high up on the leaderboard for such a sedate run.
-
Slow and steady in Spain, aiming for consistency rather than stage wins. Somehow managed to keep up with @Janneman60, and I guess he did a mistake on SS6 where he lost 30 seconds on me all of a sudden. Very few mistakes, but could've pushed a lot more. So hoping for a top 5 finish at least 🙂

So Citroen builds a bad car, blames the drivers for sucking, gets the best driver and it still sucks, so blame the driver. Yeah, nice going.
Sucks to lose a marque for the championship, hope one or two new will join up for the hybrid era.
Toyotas lineup with Ogier, Evans and Rovanperä will be interesting to say the least. I can see no better environment for Kalle to learn how to be a champ 🙂

Wait, WHAT? So SS2 i got an unlucky puncture from a tiny bump on the exit of 'left 5 over crest' (or something) and was like "Eh, i am midstage, i dont see a reason to stop".
But then i slow crashed after i slid out on another exit and ... it was terminal?? I wasn't even in fifth gear... Lesson learned, take 2 spare wheels for Finland instead.
I got terminal damage from smashing a sign in USA the other day. Sometimes it's just not happening 😕

Finland went as Finland often does.
SS1-3 went OK, felt fairly confident so I wanted to push a slight bit more on SS4. Bad, bad, bad idea. Went quite OK, until I slightly touched a bank and spun. Which of course gave me a puncture aswell. *sigh*
Oh well, not too much lost, let's keep it going.
SS5 is night stage. My lights were apparently broken on the previous stage. FML. SS6 is a a night stage aswell.
So.. yeah. If I get a top 10 finish I'd be surprised.

Wow. Poland. Spun on SS1, not too bad but lost a lot. Then on SS2 the front just flew into the bales at one of the bale chicanes. I have no idea how it happened, I had it turned in and was on the way out when the front just snapped left. Totalled the front and somehow also lost a wheel. Limped home, did the next stage... with three wheels (forgot to add an extra) and no lights.
Retired on SS4 since I couldn't fully repair, was undriveable.
