Yep! Cheers for the setup help!

So this whole wheel thing is a lot of fun! Why didn't I do this ages ago?
-
I didn't think I had the space for it, but I've managed to clear some space in my tiny room for it!
-
I think dirt is definitely faster on a wheel than a pad. But it's certainly incredibly playable. Project cars just seems impossible without assists. As soon as the car starts to slide it's just impossible to control effeciently/at all. And I really don't want to play it with assists
-
I'm alright with a pad, I can win quite easily on the hardest difficulty. However Project cars is currently free on Xbox live, and I'm finding it impossible to play on a controller. Think that just goes to show how well codemasters did dirt rally though! Looking forward to setting my wheel up tomorrow!
-
Exactly why I prefer triggers, buttons are only ever full throttle or none. Triggers allow you some finesse. But there's no need for the for me any more, as call me £150 lighter and one wheel richer!

Kids these days. Got no idea what real controller action is all about... I may be leaving you as a fellow controller peasant soon, it's just too tempting! http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/computer-accessories/game-controllers-and-joysticks/logitech-driving-force-g920-xbox-one-pc-racing-wheel-pedals-black-10136487-pdt.html?store=2446&cmpid=ppc~gg~(PLA)-LOCAL~~Exact&istCompanyId=bec25c7e-cbcd-460d-81d5-a25372d2e3d7&istItemId=mwxqplllw&istBid=t&srcid=198&cmpid=ppc~gg~1016+%28PLA%29+PC+GAMING~1016+%28PLA%29+PC+GAMING+ad+group~Exact&mctag=gg_goog_7904&kwid=GOOGLE&s_kwcid=DS!700000001494869!152356035074!!!g!!PRODUCT+GROUP&device=m&ds_kids=92700017599613705&PLA=1&gclid=CPjjpuLoodICFdM-GwodSuQICg&gclsrc=ds&dclid=COXCwOLoodICFUmB7QodJfYHLA Edit: not sure what's going on with that link!

I use X (square) as upshift and A (x) as downshift. B (circle) is my handbrake, and triggers are accelerating and braking. I hate using A and X as accelerator and brake!

It was quite fast, but he got away with very little damage. Think he was back out later, they probably just checked everything over and replaced the broken rear bumper -

Unfortunately this isn't how things work today! I just can't see it being a big enough market for it today. You've got the people that actually watch the championship, the ones that can afford to buy that type of car, and the ones that actually do want to buy it. That's a bit of a niche market -
https://youtu.be/-8mPD3BoCT0 This video explains a bit about it. It basically layers on a lot of assists like additional deceleration when you lift off, reduces the body roll of cars and other things.

Yeah I played dirt 4 on a controller and it had hand over hand animations

https://youtu.be/cUaDfvT2fdI That guy at the end of the trailer sure is handsome! Looks pretty good at locating all the buttons on a PlayStation controller when needed too! :D

And Poland. Safety should obviously always be a priority, but I just don't think this is quite the right way to do it -

Thing is a straight road flat out is going to create higher average speeds than a series of high speed corners, but which is going to be safer? Average speed doesn't show the full picture. And no, this is nothing like group b. Those cars were ridiculously overpowered, and were going way faster than the safety features and standards available to them. Plus there was the insanely stupid crowd numbers and positions. In most places, if you left the road, you were guaranteed to kill or injure people. -
Looks like the same giant poster we were greeted with when we walked into the room and discovered it was Dirt 4!

It's not in stores until tomorrow! (Friday)

The Hyundai is one that's really annoying, can't see the gear indicator at all. If there are no work around, it would be nice to have a gear indicator icon in the HUD

I almost got my prediction right with Neuville winning! Shame another small mistake cost him and Hyundai big, but his first win this year is definitely coming, wouldn't be surprised at all if it was Mexico. Who would have thought last year that we would have m-sport leading the points and a Toyota leading the driver's title?! -
I'm sure it probably will somewhere down the line, even if it's after release like dirt rally. Enough people seem to be asking for it, and they released it for dirt rally which had a much smaller budget! You just might not here anything about it for a little while!

He posted on twitter, he seemed gutted obviously, but he still sounded positive of his performance from the last two events. Whilst it's not a great start to the season to go out on the first two events, it's not complete disaster, especially if he goes out and takes some power stage points tomorrow. He and the car are clearly very capable of winning rallies. and monte was the smallest of mistakes, one which could have happened anywhere else and not caused him any problems. Tomorrow will be interesting, I unfortunately won't be able to follow it love though :( And @gfRally in answer to your earlier question, for following live, twitter and wrc radio are probably the best aside from any live broadcasts. Just follow as many people as you can who are tweeting about the WRC. It's the best way info spreads around -

The crash definitely looked odd, he was coming round the corner fine then sunddenly veered off to the right -

Mads hit Colin's Crest at 110mph! He was quite funny in his interview at the stage end, seemed quite pleased with himself -

I haven't seen everyone go over the bump that took mads' wing, but the Toyota seemed most unhappy. Latvala was pretty much facing the sky! It was a nasty bump though, caught a lot of people out. And being someone who competes in a smaller car, I imagine that was horrendous for those lower down the field and those following in the historic rally! -

Paddon probably isn't having an easy rally considering his last. I'm sure it's been difficult for him to get into the right frame of mind for this event
