From what I've read so far it looks to me like Monte, Finland, Germany & Greece are gone, that's quite a lot tbh. I'm a bit dissapointed as well in all honesty. Yes it's very nice the game has expanded with new race modes, but to see it was added at the cost of rally content is dissapointing... Yeah, those four are gone, but Australia, Michigan and Spain are replacing them.

I can't remember, but not all the cars were in the build that we played.
-
I can't remember stage lengths, they were similar to dirt rally I think. There is quantity and quality on offer! The gameplay is coming from an early PS4 build, so don't worry about that. It looked good from what we played on pc back in November!

I'm sorry but I do not think it is as you say.Not only they have NOT added new tracks but have even decreased (Monte Carlo, Finland) ..real successor of Dirt Rally .. there are Gr.B? WRC? .. In short, at least the cars currently present, there will be?I think not, is not a Rally game .. it's just a soup I don't really know how it's soup, but anyway. Theres 1 less rally location than in dirt rally. Wales and Sweden return, but with all new stages. In addition, the track generator means that there is even more rally content than in Dirt Rally. There were also more classes of rally cars I believe than in dirt rally, including group b. One thing I'll clear up, no there probably won't be any WRC cars, they couldn't get licences for any unfortunately. But there was a beefy looking R5 class, with 4 or 5 cars in it

The leaderboards are split down the middle, so there's different leaderboards for both types of handling. The stages did feel like proper stages. I'm going to try and explain how it works, but I'm not 100% sure if this is correct so don't take my word for it. So basically, there are multiple 'tiles' in each location. When you generate a stage, these are randomly stitched together to create a stage. The tiles are also altered slightly by the 'complexity' slider, which I think changed things like tightness of some corners and things. Again, bit 100% sure if that's right, but I think that's how it worked.

Guys! This is a more fleshed out version of dirt rally. The sim handling is improved from dirt rally a lot and felt really good. The stages, even though generated, still felt like proper stages, and the pacenotes were absolutely fine. This game is a true successor to Dirt Rally, it just caters to a wider audience by having an optional arcade handling mode.

Paul is in the game too! Multiple co drivers!

I'm not actually sure. Think they were probably similar length to dirt rally, maybe a little longer. But I can't remember unfortunately. I would describe this best as dirt rally meets dirt 3/2. Anyway, I'm off lunch break and back to work, I'll leave it to the others to answer any questions!

Already trending on twitter! Well done guys! Also, there's a free roam area in the game for practicing and other stuff
-
I don't wanna be that guy but... only 5 locations for rally? I hope there will be more. Yeah, but there's basically infinite stages! Plus I think 3 landrush and 6 rallycross tracks

All the Wales stages are new, as well as Michigan. Wales and Sweden were the most technical of the locations (although didn't get a chance to try Sweden), but the Australian and Michigan stages were still fun and difficult. Spain was just tarmac as far as I'm aware, recognisable from the last few days of rally Spain

Lots better, car weight feels miles better, braking distances are better, and cars no longer fly to the moon over bumps. There is also an aracade handling mode available for those that prefer dirt 3 style handling. I didn't personally try it because I was only interested in the simulation handling, but others said it was good

Stage creation is very cool, we played around with it in November. You can alter the length and technicality on sliders and it will create a stage for you

Some things might not be 100% accurate, but you'll find out in, well, not very long!
-
Some things are just worth getting sued over, like supplies of shortbread, ale and gin. *hint hint*

Reading too much into things is what we do here! This thread isn't almost 700 pages long for nothing. ;) That said, let's make up look for clues. Any significance to the Jolly Club livery? To be fair, half of that is actually house pricing and kebab pizzas, so... Oh, and the NDA trolls enjoying life on the other side of the fence... damn traitors! TELL US EVERYTHING YOU KNOW!!! I'll just go find that old torture table, now. You'll never break me! (Unless you've got beer, then there is a strong possibility I can be broken). How about Cookies? Overrated as a means of bribery I'm pretty partial to a cookie @Evilsmurf. I need specifics @JZStudios, what sort of cookies are we talking about and how soon can you get them to me? Hmmm, I myself am fairly partial to some well made snickerdoodles... However you being in that land of Britain does complicate the delivery process. Actually, I'll start working with my dad soon and there's a decent possibility we could be going to London for a demo... Still a month or two away though. London is a great city, make sure you make some time to see as much as you can!

I'll tell you everything for a box of shortbread

I'm also available for alcohol and food bribes if anyone is interested?

Hope you're right, I like latvala too! There aren't really any drivers that I don't like or wouldn't want to win to be honest! -

Sordo is consistent, but consistently average. He won't be challenging for wins, but you can pretty much guarantee that he'll bring home manufacturers points on most rallies. I can't imagine that Hyundai would tell Paddon to reel anything in. Latvala i I think is past his best unfortunately. He's still good, but I don't think he's a championship contender anymore. I rated Mikkelsen over him by a mile. Breen has the least experience out of anyone remember, yet he's showing he can mix with the rest -

Yeah I heard Ogier said something about not liking the Yaris suspension. I think Seb definitely made the right choice in M-sport, not just because of his win yesterday -

Yeah, I dont know a lot about it, but to me it looked like the Yaris was built to handle at high speeds with the aero, and at low speeds it just looked twitch and undrivable. Did you see how many times latvala spun on hairpins this weekend? -

Hum, I would agree with Neuville, Paddon and Meeke, but I would include Tanak too, If it wasn't the problems with the car he would have finished in 2nd and he showed some speed and consistency. Yeah good point, Tanak is also well up there and is improving. I think this season could be incredibly interesting, even if it does turn into Ogier dominance, the fight over the remaining places could be pretty good! -

Id say pretty much every driver has the speed to match Ogier, but none are as consistent as him at both maintaining that speed and keeping the car on the road. For me, the his biggest rivals are Neuville, Paddon and Meeke, with Breen showing a lot of potential, but maybe not this year
