Basically, they bought Evans up from wrc2, trained him up for two years then dropped him just as he was getting going so they could do it again with someone new
-
Not as good as the black and white version
-
I'll be very surprised if he finishes above 5th in any event this year
-
It's quite nice, I was kind of hoping for something a bit more 'revolutionary'! Just waiting on VW and Citroen/Abu Dabai
-
Yeah Delta was considered due to the relation of 4 and its rallying heritage. I think Rally was the right choice. I also wouldn't have minded it being called Dirt 4
-
I understood what you meant ;) Well considering it was going to be called DiRT Pulse at one point...
-
Yeah I used to love the show when it was inside xbox, still watch it every now and then now that it's on youtube.
-
Also with it being called dirt 4, lots of people who bought dirt 2/3 on console would probably buy it and then be incredibly confused when they are stuck in a tree on the first corner
-
I personally can't see it happening. It would create a lot of confusion having it named differently on console and PC. I can't see the team wanting that to happen either, we discussed the name of the game a bit with the guys on our first visit, and they were all fairly set on it not being named dirt 4
-
So, a video on the OutsideXbox youtube channel (formerly inside xbox when it used to be on the old xbox 360 dashboard) showed Dirt as one of the 7 games that xbox will finally get in 2016. For some reason they suggested that it could be re-branded as dirt 4 for the consoles? I have no idea where they would have got that from, and it seams highly unlikely, especially as dirt rally already has official xbox one box art. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rFcy4L7NkI(edit: forgot to link the video!)

What if I want the Fulvia?Mini is 14 characters too short

Unfortunately we don't have much to go by with the legend edition. It's also listed on GAME, but there is no info at all on there. So we can carefully assume that the legend edition is a real thing, but I wouldn't be too convinced by the details listed on Amazon
-
It's already been said that if an iconic car isn't in there, then there are good reasons for it, normally reasons beyond the teams control e.g licences
-
Really glad it's getting such good reviews, and that the reviewers are getting a proper understanding for what the game is about
-
I will do! In fact I'm sure you are already on my contact list for PS3? *pssst* get an Xbox one instead!

PC Gamer's review of DiRT is a little strange. They've given it a score of 80 which is fair enough, but for some reason have massively slated the handling, saying the cars all feel the same and it is too easy!? http://www.pcgamer.com/dirt-rally-review/Very odd criticisms, whilst I understand not everyone will think it is a perfect handling model, you can't argue that its not close
-
No one will ever guess why Toyota aren't in the game! :D
-
I basically read into it as 'the future is bright for DiRT'. whether that's DLC for Rally or a bigger budget sequel. Basically, The bosses at Codemasters have realized that Paul and co were right about making DiRT Rally instead of DiRT 4, and now they have more room to breathe with it in the future

Sometimes we throw some gravel at the potholes around our farm. Sometimes. What were we talking about again?
-
I can just imagine the moment they went airborne there was a sudden realization in the car that this was a very bad idea Edit: At least he didn't Kentomaa it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2LPS0F9B88

^ YES. changed my mind, I want to Kris Meeke it... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8D4AfZ9qmM

Spain gets my vote, have one gravel stage and one tarmac stage (I think there was one on RACC this year that had a small mix of tarmac and gravel?) And then in the career it could be set to do half the rally on one surface and the second half on the other.
-
And it's been basically confirmed to come at some point. If there would be any additional rally to come, Kenya aka Safari rally seems the most probable tbh. It's by far the most requested one and it appeared in DiRT 3 in more than one form (trailblazer and rally) which means they should have a lot of reference materials. I personally would like to see Australia and San Remo the most, but that's just me. The missing Renaults are always possible to come in some time, along with the liveries that @BrySkye pointed out. And naturally, the most important of all, the Audi Quattro E2 :D Its possible, but do they have everything they need from the D3 reference material? As D3 weren't real stages, they just had some features of real stages. So to recreate a real stage they might not have everything they need

Wasn't there an amazon italy description that mentioned a 99 min Colin McRae documentary? Because McRae was pretty legendary if I remember rightly! And as for the console port, I assume part of it is being done by the new partnership with Koch Media?Such gossip, much speculate

I would really like a new Wales stage, especially since I spend most of my life standing or driving through Welsh forests, but I would prefer to see somewhere new.
