Yep, I’m heading there tonight and will be there until Sunday, going to shakedown, hafren, gartheiniog and maybe brenigRodgerDavies said:Anyone going to Wales this weekend? -
Literally the first time someone has asked for a source for something in the gossip thread.Alf72 said:
Source? If they gonna move to a new Engine, it's the right time to make sure that the Engine supports Modding.bogani said:It will be built on a completely new engine and an will much like Assetto Corsa be an ongoing project, adding locations, stages and cars along the way for a substantial period of time. -
Can’t wait! Heading off to Wales after work tomorrow, then getting up nice and early Thursday morning for shakedown! Then Friday Saturday and possibly Sunday stages and/or podium in Llandudno! I’ve got my camera packed, so I should have some videos on Monday -
Quick stage that one!Fedemaisonnave said:As the Dirty Gossip Thread is off-topic I Will help to carry on the off-topic page streak (600 pages off-topic LOL) with an OnBoard Camera of my rallying weekend, hope you enjoy it. In case you don't know which car it is, is a Fiesta R1

For a brief moment, the clouds parted, and there was gossip. Then someone mentioned fjords, and the clouds rolled back overcarpa said:20 new comments in the DiRTy Gossip Thread:
they're about how to pronounce "FJORD" correctly. -
What the hell is this?KingOfCoins said:Let’s do the thing this thread is known for. Wild speculations on vague, possibly unrelated tweets!
Apparently Paul Coleman has gone to Norway. Could this mean anything? Maybe they’re on a research trip to map out a new rally location in the future?

Oh, wait. I think it's gossip, in the gossip thread! Been so long I didn't recognise it! -
Wrc needs more teams for all these drivers! I'm surprised at Tanak moving though. The fiesta seemed to suit him so well. Will be very interesting to see if he can match this year's performance with Toyota -
No sp career? That's always my favourite part of racing games. I don't have a PS4 anyway, but that sounds like a big disappointment.SergeyTokarev said:
How about GT Sport? I had a busy week, wanted to try it today and what did I found? Servers are down till the release, game won't save in offline mode, no singleplayer carreer mode. New GT is basically "dead on arrival" for me.KingOfCoins said:What else should we talk about?

Back to DiRT Rally and DiRT 4. -
Sweden was his own fault, but Monte Germany and Spain all looked like either very unfortunate events or signs Hyundai need to beef up their suspension -
I'd be very surprised if Ogier signs for Hyundai. They would need a huge budget, even bigger than they already do. (4 drivers currently signed running four cars for the next event). I think they will be happy with Neuville and Mikkelsen, and hopefully they will keep Paddon and maybe Sordo. To be fair he he is the only driver this year to score points in every round this year. -
Also a rumour with Paddon and m sport, but I'd can't see that personally, Paddon is sponsored and backed by Hyundai New Zealandtbtstt said:
That's a real shame if it's true: I was hoping to see Tanak flying again in the Fiesta next year.RallyDriven said:Colin Clark reckons that Tanak is confirmed for Toyota. Just waiting on an official announcement. I'm quite surprised considering how long he's been in a Ford and how much it seems to suit him. But apparently they offered him big money, so maybe that influenced him? -

I'm going to gartheniog on saturday, two wrc runs in quick succession. My advice would be to get there in plenty of time, minimum of an hour before the first run. The main spectator points I find tend to be a bit dull, often slow corners and also they're very busy so it can be hard to find a decent spot without being behind people. I recommend trekking a little way into the forest and finding yourself a good, safe spot. Bring some food with you, and enjoy! The best thing about having two wrc runs is that you can move spots between the two so you can get a different view pointShouldBeThere said:Anyone got some tips and advice for Wales this year? Only went to the special stage at the castle last year, but really keen to get a better look on some of the stages like Sweet Lamb. I can't get there for a Friday, so Saturday seems my best bet. -
Sad to see that it looks like Ogier has tied up the championship this weekend, was hoping for a closer fight all the way till the end! Good rally for Kris though!
In other news, sounds like a helicopter crashed on stage 11 of the ERC causing the stage to be cancelled -
All three hyundais with the same problem. Need to strengthen their tarmac suspension! Luck is not with Thierry on these last few events -
Rally isn't over yet, and anything can still happen in gb and aus. But it is looking like a bit of a stretch for Neuville to win now. I'm mega excited to be on the side of the rally gb stages in 20 days time! -
Exactly, they're leading and they haven't put a penny towards it!KevM said:
It’s free advertising, why would they need to?DiRTKiNG808 said:
Why don't Ford back M-Sport already? Seems like the thing to do I mean M-Sport is leading the championship by a good margin.Fedemaisonnave said:
It is the same, the Cars go back to HQ after a Rally, so if Rally México follows or not a Northern American Rally is the same ;) .Scyy said:They should do a second snow rally in Canada or northern usa. Do it after Sweden and go to Mexico after.
I think Rally México could be replaced with a Rally in USA or Canada, and it also could attract Ford to finally back M-Sport -
Think Evans and Toyota was reported in the motoring news U.K. A few months back -
Sorry, got a bit confused with all the numbers. Is that 52 all new stages? That's a hell of a lot of work!LudwigVonMises said:
52. The answer is two posts above ;)RallyDriven said:How many stages are there in wrc7? I tried to look but I couldn't find it -
There have been very little rumours about a private vw team, I guess that is never going to happen now? -

M sport will struggle if they lose both tanak and Ogier. Even more so if the Evans and Toyota rumours are true. -
'Definitely don't cut' Neuville needed that note in Sweden!
seriously though, that co driver is terrible. With the rest of the game improved, why did they not get someone better to do the notes? -
I'm planning my week for rally gb, I really can't wait! Thinking of maybe doing everything from shakedown on Thursday to Sunday stages. Not quite sure yet, but I'll definitely be doing Friday Saturday and Sunday stages
