May well be that he's covered by whatever the WRX version of the Concord Agreement is. I'm sure he could have opted out or kept his own image rights before signing up, but it may just be that WRX have the rights to licence his name.
But Block is Blocked (No pun intended) So I'm not sure if the WRX Concord Agreement is that strong.
Maybe Microsoft's money is stronger.
I think it was only his livery that was exclusively licensed to forza horizon. We still get the focus and bakkerud though -

I like the guy but he isn't cutting it currently. Then again, he has gone from the GRC which was (and is a little bit still) skateboarders turned racing drivers to the same league running two WRC champions and holding his own so he has definitely improved!
Kenny from the Block is a great showman and has some serious skills. However compared to all those rally champions he is missing a lot of razorsharpness.
@KickUp and @xtinamcgrath Did WRX allow you to use Loeb within the game or did Milestone only had a single off agreement with Loeb so you were free to engage with Sébastien?
Also wonder if Loeb gave some feedback even if he wasn't officialy involved in development? Also I am very curious if he said something how it stack up against his own game? (Graphically underpowered but physics are really nice).
In the pictures in today's red Bull article you can see loeb's name on the side of the Peugeot. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that his own game didn't actually have any rallycross cars? I think it was just rally cars on rallycross tracks. So, he probably is indeed thinking that he gave his name/soul to the wrong people -

I liked how the Audi felt in DR. Powerful and a bit sluggish.
I didn't like how it handled the jumps, myself, it felt a bit exaggerated compared to its real-life counterpart (judging by rally footage). I think it should be better in D4 with the improved aerodynamics though.
Here is RSRBR's take on aerodynamics in Audi Sport Quattro E2. Beat that DiRT Rally!

I've driven that jump in the opposite direction and to be fair, its steep as hell. I don't know if the real track is like but damn.
Yeah I think it's the mineshaft jump in Australia? Seem to remember that being in rbr.

Absolutely, I use 4th as hand brake (with elastic band), cannot use a handbrake on a button, no feel :(
Gotta find/get/make a USB handbrake somehow so I can use H box.
Yeah I need to sort out a high tech elastic band system! H pattern is so much fun, but a lot of work! -
So, off topic, but when I changed from controller to a wheel I got to completely re-enjoy dirt rally! And with dirt 4 coming up, I decided to get a h-pattern shifter to add to it, and now I'm getting to re-enjoy dirt rally a 3rd time! H pattern with clutch is so much fun, as is using 3rd and 4th as a sequential box, or using 4th as the handbrake with a paddle shift!
Cant wait to try it on dirt 4! -

I'll hopefully be going to Lydden Hill for the WRX so assuming CM are going to be there, I'll try and get some footage (won't be direct capture, just camera fyi)
See you there!
I'll hopefully be going as well, but probably only Saturday as it's my grandads 90th birthday on the Sunday! -

Put it this way, first things I noticed when playing dirt 4:
-Increased braking distance and improved braking feel.
-Better airborne physics, and general aerodynamics improvements
-Much better stage edges, you can actually take realistic cuts in Wales without being launched into the sky!
Love the increased braking distance. Going to make a huge difference!
Oh yeah, it really does! You really have to concentrate on the brakes a lot more now, felt a lot more realistic.
I should have mentioned the other thing I first noticed was the familiarity from dirt showdown (just kidding, dirt rally), it has the same sim feel. -

I'd say there is a fair remount of gameplay and info out there. True that there's not a lot of rally gameplay though, this is the best video so far:

No, the only tracks to be generated will be the rally stages, all the Rally Cross and Landrush tracks are "hand made" by the development team.
And it would be good if these racing tracks were also gen- erated
It's also a real world race track.
Random generated stages make sense, but when it comes to race tracks, is rather have the real things, or well made fakes like the landrush tracks -
The parts are normally sourced from a wide range. We made some parts for the Yaris at my work in the UK! We've also done a few parts for Focus WRC's in the past year. -
Also, not just consoles limiting it, but also I'm pretty sure that not everybody runs pc's capable of running something like that effectively. That makes it quite a niche thing, especially when you're considering who would actually want to do a stage that long (judging by this thread, not many). -

Nooooo, Evans!
What a rally. Couldn't have asked for better, really. El Condor was surreal! I climbed up into the valley twice and my legs are killing me now. Paddon, Latvala, Ostberg and Tanak all put on a hell of a sideways show on the Power Stage! Truly a rally to remember.
For those who wanted pictures, I'll upload a Google photos album link later. I have too many to pick winners from!
You're lucky to be there! Beautiful country and great stages, although a little tough for anything other than a world rally car!
Very tough indeed. We parked on the side of the highway on our way to El Condor and we nearly got stuck in a sandy ditch on our way out, and the lack of cellular data at the stages had me gobbling up all the day's information back at the hotel. It left me guessing why Bertelli didn't show up at the power stage.
Normally when that happens you shouldn't have to guess! This was a rare occasion when it wasn't his own fault! -

He was 3.2 up on the first split too! I thought it would be a repeat of Paddon vs Ogier last year! -
I know, going to be on the edge of my seat for this! I want Elfyn to win, but at the same time I wouldn't mind if Neuville took it. That will help to open the championship up -

Heres an obaord of meeke, I counted 6 or 7 high speed rolls -
I can never work out the wrc time zone thing. It says the live powerstage is 15:00 utc, which according to google is also 15:00 GMT. But from what I can make out the penultimate stage starts 14:56 GMT, so I'm a bit confused? I guess the powestage is an hour later than what google thinks! -
It looks like that picture was taken from a video, so I guess someone will post it soon.

Well, holy shit. I said it was probably bad

It's fun getting close to the drivers! I've got quite a few autographs from the last couple of rally gb's, and my sister got selfies with Mikkelsen and Paddon! Enjoy your last day there!
Latvala's puncture was his own fault, to wide and hit the edge of the stage quite hard.
edit: I've not seen anything of kris' second crash, which normally means it was pretty serious. The car is a complete state, but maybe they were close to spectators? Could just be that the cameras came loose in the accident and the footage is t worth showing. Anyway, they're all ok, so that's alright -
Also seems to be a stray dog on the stage causing problems for Ogier and latvala. Stay safe doggy -
Gutted he couldn't get it to the end of the day :(
At least it looks like they'll be back out today
edit: seen both paddon's and meekes rolls, both incredibly unlucky.
