  1. Sorry everybody.

They've clearly gained the world rally, IRC AND BRC licences, along with every Toyota and Citroen. But the main milestone was reaching 25 rally locations, the whole World rx calendar and multiple hill climbs with all the modern and historic cars. And there's ACAT.

And in addition, to make the BRC licence realistic, you can compete in a class al by yourself, then tell everyone how good you are when you win.

    Is that better?

  2. Yeah, I watched one of AR12's videos once and he was spinning the camera around on the outside view to see what other people were doing, then being completely confused why he was crashing. Literally no idea how he has so many subscribers. But I rarely watch anything on YouTube now that I'm no longer a student

  3. From the few videos I've seen, it seems like slap train at least knows what he's talking about when it comes to cars and racing, unlike the complete moron that is AR12, who I have literally no idea why people would want to watch a racing game channel with a guy who doesn't know a thing about it. If you want to be really annoyed then watch this from when dirt on console was first announced: https://youtu.be/nsQG3Op9_N8

the most lazy video ever made, the guy has clearly not done a single bit of research. I don't watch much YouTube anymore, but I've always like FailRace as a channel. He really knows his stuff about cars and racing, and was completely full of praise for dirt.

  4. I've just downloaded Forza 6 as it's free to play this weekend with Xbox live gold, and it weirdly doesn't feel as good on controller as Forza 5? Codies did a very good job on the Xbox version of dirt, the controller feels very good, especially as a game like dirt requires a hell of a lot more steering inputs and corrections than a track racer like Forza.

About time some DiRT related gossip made it's entry soon! Way off topic

Well we know that the CM team will be in Loheac next weekend for the World Rallycross. I wonder if they are there just to spectate, or to research the circuit?
I assumed that there would be some purpose to there visit, unlikely it's just a pr visit to promote a 4 month old game (for console anyway, even older for pc).

Hmm...my 22 year old daughter has just moved to London for a job at Ogilvy and Mather. So the Lloyds come full circle. After she graduated college I thought I was done with paying for her but the salary she is getting as an intern will not cover the costs of renting an apartment in Kensington and her living expenses.

I left England 37 years ago, boy, has London changed.
    Over 37 years everything changes.
    For example, I was born.
    I was almost born twice

Toyota was beyond difficult, we were told the reason when we visited, but unfortunately it's not our place to repeat why! But from what we gathered Toyota was 0% chance from day 1
Are they making a video game themselves?
No i think there were committed to another video game.
    Nope

so, I have now finished uni, and am currently in the process of saving up a lot of money for next year. Here's my problem though, I'm undecided what to spend it on:

Option 1- A two month trip from coast to coast in the USA, going pretty much everywhere, including an attempt on Seb Loeb's Pikes Peak world record in a hire car. Something I've wanted to do for a while

Option 2- A rally car and my first season in the BTRDA as a driver

    decisions decisions....
