Well, people keep either saying they want the cars, or are randomly guessing why they aren't there, when it's been said many times to just forget about those particular licenses -
Only co driving still, once I've left uni and working full time, I'll hopefully make the shift!tbtstt said:
Bugger! I didn't know you were entered for that: I'd have made more of an effort to get there if I'd known you were driving!RallyDriven said:
Yeah, it's been said so many times. There are reasons which a few of us know, but we can't say. They just aren't going to be in dirt rally unless something amazing happens at Toyota and Citroen's end.Rallycameraman said:I'm not teasing, I'm just stating what I have been told as every other day I see on here 'I hope we get a Toyota' or 'I hope we get the DS3 WRC' It ain't gonna happen. I know the reasons why, but it certainly isn't my place to say what they are, just know that there won't be any Toyota's and there won't be any more Citroens appearing.
Going off topic here, but didn't want to start a new thread. For anyone interested here's a video of me on the Brands Hatch stages this weekend, struggling in the rain on the wrong tyres, chasing Escorts and very nearly losing it through Graham Hill bend on the final lap!

Yes, same as the one in my avatar, almost standard 1.4l, managed to finish 3rd in class, and even got 19th fastest time on stage 7!KevM said:MG ZR? -

Very good news that they have Mikko, hopefully they can make the car competitive! -
This thread is legendary for its off topic rambles -
id be pretty happy with an extra rallycross stage, gravel pikes peak and a new rally location, maybe Spain or Sardinia -
When you are in the zone, there is a lot of adrenaline, Latvala was just thinking about getting back on the road asap. However, unfortunately our sport doesn't have a great rep for spectator safety, and when there's a video in the media of a rally car knocking down a spectator and seamingly driving off without caring, it doesn't look great. There's also the obvious safety point. I know the spectator was standing like a moron and bent down to save his camera rather than run for his life, but at the end of the day there's a rule in the sport that says if you hit someone, you should stop to see if they need medical attention, and Latvala broke that rule. -

Ah, has that title been revised? Last I heard the board were still pushing DiRT Awesome Radical Sideways Experience?RodgerDavies said:
I expect the console sales will fund some salaries, some dividends and the development of DR2. Or DiRt Totally Radical Offroad Experience, if the board have their way.tbtstt said:
I would think that any further content from that point onwards will be DLC: though perhaps the console sales will fund some free extras further down the line! ;)
I can see the quality of this thread degrading very quickly! -
I don't think it's a priority, as we already have a Quattro in game. So Paul said the press embargo lasts until next week, so we should be hearing stuff then :) -
I'm pretty sure it's already been mentioned that they are video tutorials -
I prefer a good battle over an easy win any day, and by the sounds of it Ogier genuinely was enjoying the fight between himself and Kris. Looking forward to Sweden now, I hope Paddon and Mikkelson can step up to Ogier there -
I wonder when we will be seeing the results of this press day? I'd imagine it would be relatively soon seeing as there isn't really any exclusive reveals (that we know of). There's also only about 10 weeks to launch now -
I was a little surprised to see that photo, didn't think Ogier would be like that, but that's very much changed my opinion on him, true sportsmanshipgraffiti81 said:
I was rooting for Meeke, but this makes me think of Ogier as a lot more than just the dominant driver of our time. What a great competitor.PaloSamo said:
To change the subject; a true sportsmanship: -
But we know the console release is April 5th?Darhour said:Alright, now I reckon that April is anticipating a console release with full content including all fixes and updates that were planned for PC. The unravelled gossips about Colin McRae livery and the Impreza are probably going to be added to console copies as well as updates to PC in the same month.
We might as well anticipate these releases at the end of April as a result to the commemoration of a year from the release of EA.
So, the game is ready to be shown to press already, there's a 'work in progress' text shown at the top, but we can assume that it is coming along nicely. I'd guess they are finalising getting some of the content in, making sure everything works the same as PC and optimising it -
I'm looking forward to the release day the most, as it will probably be my only hope of placing any where decent in a daily! -

not sure how to imbed tweets, but heres another pic, and confirmation it's press day for consoles. Also shows a slightly new menu layout, and the tutorials section

I noticed that Latvala was speaking differently in the interviews before monte. A lot of drivers have it in them to be faster than Ogier, however Ogier is just consistently brilliant, and rarely has an off day, or even an off stage! -
I thought it looked bad when I first saw the video, that tree came straight across the front of the 'A' frame, which is probably the weakest part of the cage -
I don't think Paul would be too happy...RyuMakkuro said:
Would be wrong if he would be doing stuff with male-codriver :pDidzis said:
That sounds wrong :DRinusRally said:Well. I was actually doing stuff with the female-codriver. -
Camilli's off was very nasty, basically split the roll cage in half in front of his face -
His livery probably isn't an exclusive. I don't think EA have even used his Fiesta livery? Though then again they might not be able to use his name in the game. Probably depends on how much Codemasters want him in their game -
Yeah but world rallycross goes to 12 different countries across two continents, whereas GRC goes to two countries across two continents. (I know America is a big country, but it still only counts as 1!) -
I think he'll be fast and competitive. Plus he will bring a lot of attention to the series from America

I think the tweet is just a bit of a hint about full gravel pikes peak, pretty much aimed at us (the gossipers) to figure out
