VW came in with a strong car and very strong drivers
Hyundai came in with a good car and good drivers.
Hyundai have had a further two years of competitive development for both the car and drivers, so Toyota need to find some talent to join them next year, otherwise they will probably struggle to compete against the others -
Paul said it had been 'approved' - I don't see surface deformation as something that has to be approved from elsewhere, more something they may have looked into and decided whether it is possible or not -
The banks are a very different shape to the walls though, you are only hitting the banks with the tyres and lower body, unlike the straight walls which don't allow the cars to transfer the movement verticallyfunction9 said:Oh jesus. It's like being in the twilight zone sometimes. I'm well aware of the possibility hard snowbanks. The problem is the car has the same, exaggerate reaction to the hard snowbanks as it does to banks in Wales. It's not absorbing any of the impact. We know the behavior is wrong as established here:

In contrast, they've done a pretty good job in RX when a car bumps into a wall or barrier, it's absorbing the impact. If they would've combined the "soft" snow behavior of Sweden with the collision behavior from RX for the "hard" snow underneath, it would be perfect. Instead what we have is basically a shallow, soft layer over Wales banks. -
I not an expert but it depends a bit on the temperature. If the snow is melting, you will go straight through it and can't lean the car on it, when it's freezing hard the banks are a lot more solid, and they again become more difficult to lean the car on

I called Ken Block!

Maybe it's an improved damage model to go with Ken Block's arrival? And maybe Kubica too -
I've got it! It's Ken Block!

I don't really see it being a car, unless it's maybe the ds3 wrc. I see it being more likely a feature in the game -
Basically, they bought Evans up from wrc2, trained him up for two years then dropped him just as he was getting going so they could do it again with someone new -
Not as good as the black and white versionDarhour said:That Fiesta RS 2010 behind looks simply legendary.

I'll be very surprised if he finishes above 5th in any event this yearUnderkex said:Perfect combination of 2014 and 2015 M-Sport colours. Sadly the car will be slow this year (they are working in 2017 WRCs). Will be Camilli the surprise of this season? -
It's quite nice, I was kind of hoping for something a bit more 'revolutionary'! Just waiting on VW and Citroen/Abu Dabai -
Yeah Delta was considered due to the relation of 4 and its rallying heritage. I think Rally was the right choice. I also wouldn't have minded it being called Dirt 4 -
I understood what you meant ;)gfRally said:Just to back up on my comment, I wasn't agreeing with it being changed to DiRT 4. But I could see management wanting it.. Because well we know how management can be..
Well considering it was going to be called DiRT Pulse at one point...

Going a bit off topic, OX is a channel I'd recommend to any gamer, regardless of whether or not they own or even like xbox. Also, Mike is a genius robot with no emotion. How else would he think to do the GTA V near miss challenge on a super slow moped?
Yeah I used to love the show when it was inside xbox, still watch it every now and then now that it's on youtube.

Also with it being called dirt 4, lots of people who bought dirt 2/3 on console would probably buy it and then be incredibly confused when they are stuck in a tree on the first corner -
I personally can't see it happening. It would create a lot of confusion having it named differently on console and PC. I can't see the team wanting that to happen either, we discussed the name of the game a bit with the guys on our first visit, and they were all fairly set on it not being named dirt 4 -
So, a video on the OutsideXbox youtube channel (formerly inside xbox when it used to be on the old xbox 360 dashboard) showed Dirt as one of the 7 games that xbox will finally get in 2016. For some reason they suggested that it could be re-branded as dirt 4 for the consoles? I have no idea where they would have got that from, and it seams highly unlikely, especially as dirt rally already has official xbox one box art.

What if I want the Fulvia?
Mini is 14 characters too short -
Unfortunately we don't have much to go by with the legend edition. It's also listed on GAME, but there is no info at all on there.
So we can carefully assume that the legend edition is a real thing, but I wouldn't be too convinced by the details listed on Amazon -
It's already been said that if an iconic car isn't in there, then there are good reasons for it, normally reasons beyond the teams control e.g licences -
Really glad it's getting such good reviews, and that the reviewers are getting a proper understanding for what the game is about -

PC Gamer's review of DiRT is a little strange. They've given it a score of 80 which is fair enough, but for some reason have massively slated the handling, saying the cars all feel the same and it is too easy!?

Very odd criticisms, whilst I understand not everyone will think it is a perfect handling model, you can't argue that its not close
