Even if the handling is passable, which it just won't be when compared to dirt, but the co driver sounds so terrible and annoying -

Here what we won't get because toyota are made of assholes right nowAre there any infos or hint's what the Modern Masters Pack will contain?
What are your thoughts? :)
It may be a budget issue to, Toyota may want too much for the license, and they can't afford it with the CURRENT budget. Maybe the next game will have a larger budget since Codies sees the success that DiRT Rally is.
I spoke about this with Lee a while back when we first visited, not sure if I can say the reason, but I think it was basically that Toyota just wouldn't give it to them -
Yeah it probably was come to think of it, I don't think other BTRDA events use night stages. i seem to remember they covered up a pile of wood chip pings which people had been using as a brake marker?Rallycameraman said:
That was last years Trackrod wasn't it the night stage issue?RallyDriven said:
Things like that can be very off putting. Countless times we've come round corners to find spectators walking on the stage and the. Have them scrambling to get out of the way. Earlier this year we had a scene not too disimilar to the group b days, couldn't see the stage due to a see of spectators, who all parted ways as we came round the corner! Madness!CheeseGromit said:
On this sort of topic, if you go to YouTube and search for Mark Tapper you should find a short clip of him rolling a car after someone gave him the 'brown-eye'. Perhaps not safe for work though due to the expletives.OzoreXS said:That driver crashed before or after seeing those guys balls?
order here matters.
There was also controversy earlier this year when spectators where supposedly diliberately trying to cause crashes on a night stage, not sure what came about with that in the end
We had the exact opposite this last weekend, spectators slowed us down for a corner where a few others had been off badly, and we probably would have joined them if they hadn't! -

Yep, some of us have been lucky enough to be crashing virtual rally cars for a while now!Rallycameraman said:
I'm the same tester that played it 12 months before you did, and @MastaVonBlasta played it as far back as 2013function9 said:Are these the same "testers" that tested the RX multiplayer before it was released? -
I've been switching it off as I go over the jumps to admire the nature. You can get a lovely peaceful view and have some lunch before its time to switch it back on again and landsqdstr said:So how does the newly improved Impreza 555 group A sound? -
So happy right now! Can't wait to play it properly on my Xbox, rather than struggling on minimum graphics settings!
And if you are excited about Finland now, wait until you play it :O -
Shall we all chip in a few quid? I'll have it weekends, the rest of you can share it on the weeksdaystbtstt said:Off topic, but an important bit of news for @gfRally and any other Subaru affectionado. Next month a very special Impreza goes up for auction: Impreza WRC chassis number 001, the first Impreza WRCar built by Prodrive.

Bit more info on the auction here:
http://www.classicandperformancecar.com/subaru/impreza/4875/colin-mcrae-prodrive-subaru-impreza-heads-to-auctionValue is estimated at £175,000 - 200,000. I've e-mailed them this morning offering them a straight swap for an '05 STi. ;) -
^ I wouldn't say he has a lack of competition, there are a few drivers on equal speed terms as him, it's just his consistency which out performs everyone else -
It's weird speculating on things with at least some facts -
think 2001 has already been confirmed for Finland cars -
Yeah the camera is a bit deceptive of how fast you are actually going in these small cars. We hit 90mph at times on this rally in a 1.4 litre!WasabiWei said:The 'less glorious' side of Rally driving. Thanks for the video! It makes me feel like I could do ok if I could get out there, but I am sure that it is harder than it looks. It was pretty amazing how it looked like they are going so slow until something goes awry, then it looks 'too fast! too fast!'.
made me think, because we lost our brakes halfway through a 12 mile stage, and I was encouraging my dad (driver) to carry on. We made it through, but could have gone badly! -
Off topic, but I had an awesome weekend rallying in Wales this weekend gone. Thought I'd share this video of another crew who didn't have such a good time...

It feels like we're at school and the teacher has left the classroom for a while... Time to mess about... -
@justbiglee sad to see you go Lee, thanks for being an awesome community manager, and I couldn't give you enough praise for the work you have done over the last few years! Thanks for letting me and the other guys come down and see all your work first hand before the rest of the world!
Good luck for whatever you are going into next! #128 -
Awesome news! Can't wait to play this game properly -
It took me way too long to work out what was going on here.
I'd like the earlier WRC cars, but I'd much prefer the current cars. If we get both then even better! -
I just went over there to check it out.

Havnt read much into F1 but it's a shame if it's bringing down any of the hard work Lee and the Southam studio have done -
I assumed zero cars as in the course opening cars when I first read it, although it could also mean 2000's, which would probably be a more useful feature, as zero cars although cool wouldn't add loads to the game -

I'd have thought the modern pack would contain more modern cars, like some from the current wrc crop? -
Oh fair enough! I've missed a lot of stuff from a combination of long work hours and living in a shit caravan with no internetRallycameraman said:
No I'm on about all the WRC footage from this weekends rally!RallyDriven said:
Have I missed some stuff? I saw part of the periscope video for the pacenote recording, but has there been more?Rallycameraman said:Watching all the footage from Finland, I seriously can't wait to play it in game. It's going to be epic!
I did just find a £600 drone lying in a field though...
