Maybe gossip, under the world ex Facebook post, come asked consoles, and rx replied with 'pc only (for now)'
could be a little hint -
They would have to do new research trips to capture the rallycross section, as I believe most of them are pretty recent additions? -
I wish my memory was better, I can't remember any of the cars coming in the bext updates! -
Yeah, I've barely played it compared to half of you and I have 1.5 mil. Haven't bought many cars yet though, I have been saving up!
shame RX update isn't out as a I have a rare weekend home, I'll probably have to wait a few weeks now -
It looks as if the cars are steering from the centre and not following the front wheels? Nothing about that handling model looks right, and I hope 'work in progress' actually means LOADS AND LOADS of work in progressJepsertti said:https://www.facebook.com/SLRallyEvo/videos/619959091479767/
Why are they (Milestone) even trying...? -
Well, I wasn't moving at the time! Farming is easy (sometimes)gfRally said:
And driving heavy equipment and on your phone anywhere is smart? :open_mouth:RallyDriven said:I was half on my phone and half driving heavy machinery (not on the road, I'm not a moron) so I wouldn't be surprised if it was me! -

Umm, no idea what's gone on with that last post of mine, I've somehow stolen @barnestah 's words! -
If only want to spend a few hundred on one if I did, not looking for anything ridiculousBarnestah said:RallyDriven said:
I probably won't get one, there's other things I want more first, such as a new road car and another year at uni, but I'd buy one as I have 0 knowledge of PC's and electronics!Barnestah said:RallyDriven said:I probably won't be playing dirt until late September time now due to my current work situation. Almost tempted to get a goodish PC as a reward!Would you build it your self or buy over priced off the shelf? Just out of interest.
That's fair enough. If you do ever get round to it tho. I can thoroughly recommend giving a self build a good look at. You can save a massive amount & quite honestly if I can do it a hamster with narcolepsy can do it.
As for road deformation, This would certainly put Dirt Rally well ahead of the competition. If it can implemented well and not hurt fps to hard it would be simply magnificent. -

There was a stage in one of the wrc games in Wales which was part forest and part great orme, which annoyed me as there is no forest near the great orme.
for someone currently without DiRT, what is this new event thing for the anniversary? -
Exactly, there are still a few things that I've played that you guys havnt, and might never get to playBrySkye said:Looks like a bunch of posts have gone AWOL.
Never looks good when well behaved discussion just vanishes.
As far as I'm aware, It's never been stated that there are any Renault licensing problems at all.macebig said:http://www.bsimracing.com/two-new-cars-for-sebastien-loeb-rally-evo/
Maybe the reason behind Renault licensing problems?
That's just an assumption from the cars not being in the 0.500 update.
Thing is, we don't know that they were ever meant to be in that update.
The fact they were in an accidentally released internal build doesn't really mean anything, since internal builds can contain any mixture of elements in different stages of implementation.
Codies have had internal builds that include Rally Cross since before Pikes Peak was released (Imagine if one of THOSE had accidentally been released). -
I highly doubt I'll be able to join you all with my min spec laptop, but I would love to play some gossiper's rallycross events! -
Pikes peak did have to be licensed, although you could probably recreate the road and call it something else without a licenseDocStrangelove said:Well I think those are public roads, which the WRC doesn't "own". Likewise with Pikes Peak. I don't think anyone can sue you for recreating a public road that someone else happens to use for their racing game too.
I don't think they use real stage names though, "Panzerplatte" isn't mentioned, instead the stages are named after villages nearby. -
From what I gather yeah, the wrc has no ownership of stage names, for instance we use many of the WRGB stages in the BTRDA championship which I compete in all under the same names. I doubt you would be able to use the WRGB name or branding though, as that'd probably come under wrc licensing -
I was a bit disappointed with how much grip there was in the Welsh stages today, at least I got to wave at @Rallycameraman as we came past -
No, the next two packs are just rallycross, then Finland in September and Sweden after that -
It's a pretty good shot of showing just how fast these can come to a stop! And brilliant reactions from Thierry, hope he gets some good luck soon -
We usually aim to get there around 3-4Rallycameraman said:When are you getting to Builth Showground @rallydriven?
anyone else heading to the Nicky Grist stages on Saturday? -
Dr Freud said lots of things...gfRally said:
Dr Freud said you need to let things out, don't internalize everything, it will make you go mad.justbiglee said:
The plan is for it to still be two packs, only the first one has slipped back a week from its original date... but that date was only internal so its not like you knew when it was due anyway. Would have got away with it if we didn't cross into a new month :PRallycameraman said:The new Road book, whilst it mentions about the RX update, it doesn't mention if it now means we'll get all 3 tracks or once, or it'll be Lydden and Holjes and then Hell a few weeks later. Can you confirm anything @KickUp?
been a a bit difficult keeping up with the gossip whilst living in a mobile home with dodgy 3G connection, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how everything turns out!
In the meantime, I've got some real rallying to do in Wales this weekend! -
@rallycameraman 2pm I believe -
I'm sure we discussed it with the team back in November, but I can't remember the outcome! I'm sure they said they were trying to get the lisence for it -
Their faces speak many words!GentleNameMVB said:I'm quite gutted I'm missing this....
