This would be perfect if the sponsors were altered to fit with the livery better. The green shark logo could be rotated slightly so it fits between the flag outlines. If Codies make those changes themselves or if they allow us to do it I’m not too fussed by.

I was going through the customisation last night and I’ve set my heart on the United livery for career which is quite late to unlock in the pass. I noticed that the sponsors sit horribly on it though which has just made me not want to grind for it now because of how basic and weird it looks. I’d be happy with just a little bit of adjustment to make it sit better with different liveries. Codies could even go through the liveries themselves and make the changes so they sit better on the car, it just looks like they’ve designed a bunch of liveries and not even bothered to see where the sponsors sit, helmets and suits have the same issue too

Hi David having a good read through your answers over the last few days and I really enjoy the time you’ve taken for us. What would you say is the best method to help learn to run with no TC in terms of setting the car up and pedal settings?

Don’t suppose anyone has ventured into the F2 part of driver career? Does that work as it should or is it unplayable? Trying to pass the time until I can play my team

Definitely needed. The customisation we have now is a start but Codies do need to work on it over the next few months for it to be of a good standard. I hope they don’t just leave it as it is

I’m quite a fan of corner entry this year. Flying towards the first chicane at Monza picking that braking point and downshifting correctly is really satisfying

This has got me curious now as to whether the engine sounds do differ in my team.

It’s just disappointing that we’ve paid for this “early access” and the game isn’t even functioning as it should.

Such a shame that the bugs are ruining the experience. I’ve just been running GP’s because my team is broken and online is filled with bugs and the penalty system isn’t any better. Don’t want to put too much time into the game either with the podium pass being down as I’m not even progressing to get a livery. Livery options are so limited that they all look bland. Bugs need fixing urgently, servers need to be working and improvements to the customisation to actually allow for half decent liveries. Of course it’s difficult with the situation when they’re working from home I imagine but the game needs to be fixed sharpish or sales won’t be any good.

I believe it’s through levelling up that specific facility to spec 2?

I was getting punted left right and centre last night. Seems slamming their brakes on mid corner is this years trend

The texture pop in is even worse too. The my team car always looks bad in the garage. Driver selection is as bad as last year too

I agree. I’ve used both pad and wheel today and found both to be very evenly matched. I’m more consistent with a wheel but I’d expect that.

I’ve not begun a career yet due to this issue but I do recall Aarava being recommended the soft to hard strategy in Australia rather than soft to medium so maybe that’s linked to the same bug?

I used a little work around and kept backing out and going back in until I got Schumacher, not ideal but I didn’t want Aitken or anyone else.

I have noticed the surroundings of the track have definitely been downgraded. The tower in Bahrain is quite hideous now in fact. I would say the cars look slightly better but the environments, shadows and reflections as you say aren’t as good as they have been. It’s a shame really. I won’t even venture into split screen and if that’s the reason we’ve had these downgrades I’d rather not have it included to be honest.

Many reports of this and it’s a known issue, using the search function on the forum or just scrolling the main page would have shown this.

Also if it’s not the same track take into account you might be stronger at certain tracks. I fly around Austria and silverstone but can’t get any sort of rhythm at Mexico so I lower the difficulty when I need to.

Not too make your day at work any more painful but boy, when you drive out for those initial laps the grip and sound takes you back. It’s another level to last years game, super happy so far!

I’m in the same boat as you. Feeling very comfortable and consistent already on the pad. Just plugging the wheel in now.

Would you say the rubbering in effect is more realistic and substantial this year? Just finished an FP1 session in Abu Dhabi and found the track quite slow to begin with. Is this also represented visually with a “darker” line appearing as the weekend goes on?

I loaded into Singapore and Baku fine. Switched to Austria and I’m stuck on a loading screen.

Great idea! Think it would add a little more authenticity, would also be nice to see the partners such as DHL, Pirelli and Aramco be available to choose from too.
