Something CodeMasters completely forgot for Autosport and Grid 2 Split Screen. Please fix .

Sometimes it`s the little things that make all the difference to a game. My m8s and I have always enjoyed playing Splitscreen since the old NHS games and it`s great to have Splitscreem mode on PC in Grid 2 and Autosport. Now the problem is while we are racing it`s difficult to tell who is shifting what gear since we hear the gears mixed up in the stereo sound. NFS solved this problem easily by having Player 1 sound in the right Speaker and Player 2 sound in the left speaker or vice versa. Please patch Grid 2, Autosport and future Grid Splitscreens this way as it makes racing with manual gears a lot easier. Frankly, I`m surprised nobody in Codemasters thought of adding this as an option in the Audio. One last question. A friend of mine`s name is Martin. Martin is spoken as a name in Grid, Grid2, but not in Autosport. Why did you remove that name in Autosport? Someone called Martin upset you guys maybe ? No big deal, but my friend asked me to ask. Luckily my name is still in. :) Would appreciate a reply. -

Yeah if end the session and then i restart i see in the garage that the leaderboard is empty. There's also the problem that, at this point, i cannot return to the main menu of the game because keep loading the screen with written "communicating with online services". However, my NAT is 2 and i'm linked via LAN with the wireless modem. I have 30 Mbps (download) and 5 Mbps (upload). -

Hello. I'm playing F1 2020 on Steam. So my platform is a PC. I will report any problems during play. And I am Japanese. So I'm very bad at English. I hope my English can be understood. 1. A description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. Even if I release the throttle from full throttle while playing F1 2020. The throttle will continue to be input a little. 2. I have exited the game and restarted it multiple times as well as uninstalling and reinstalling it. 7. Like you seem to know already, it is more a speech of frustration, really. I know they can do it, but they disappointed me just too much in the past. I of course will likely have them on my radar, like every other racing game developer out there (except PC only developers, because I don't play on PC at all). Codemasters, Turn 10, Playground Games (wich I hate with a passion at the moment), Slightly Mad Studios, Milestone, Kylotonn, Polyphony Digital, Ivory Tower, Eden Games and even Ghost Games and Criterion Games, who did not made a good NfS-Game in 10+ years are at least on my radar. I'm always looking after good racing games, and they don't have to be always simulation based. Some sort of really good Burnout or Split/Second would be also cool.

F1 Mobile just spiins at start up screen and will not load. I updated my IOS and immediately coud not duel. After turning the game off and then bak on it will not reload. There is over 2.5GB of space. What can I do? Offload game and reload?

Hi, I'm encountering an error that I don't see posted anywhere. I'm hoping there is a SQL script someone just needs to run to clean up my user data 🤞. A detailed description of the issue. I'm unable to join a new season of the league "QRB F1 eSports" getting the error "You are already a member of this league". I also encountered this issue in F1 2019 but was able to ignore it and play, in that game I just didn't show up in the leader boards. If I were to put my developer hat on and guess I'd say that my steam name change (from funnyslime to mparker42) has caused some orphaned data somewhere so I have two userids for the same steam user; this normally rectifies its self except for the league where I was in some state of invited (probably invited but not accepted) with one userid then switched to the new userid putting myself in a funky error state. Platform PC What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.10 Ranked/Unranked/Leagues League Wired or Wireless Connection? Ethernet direct to router The amount of players in your session? 1 Were you the host? N/A - I didn't create the league. Did this issue happens for everyone in the session, just some people or just yourself? What did they see? Just myself. Others see 1/2 joined in the lobby as if I'm registered as a player in the league but not in the lobby. We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? When playing as myself yes, I can't create a fresh steam user to make repro steps but feel free to take control of my user or something if required. upcoming patch F1 2020 MyTeam PS4 - Bug Infrastructure downgrade to 0

1. A description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. On the middle of the season, all my infrastructures were downgrade to level 0. I can't upgrade them because the improvement is in progress but it never comes. I continue to the Season 3 because I thought it will be back in order but no... It's a big problem because i lose a lot of ressources points every week and a lot of drivers don't wan't to join me because my infrastructures are near to 0 2. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen): 1.09 3. Game Mode: My team 4. Are you able to recreate the issue? If so, please include recreation steps on how you encountered this issue. Every time I play, my infrastructures are downgrades to 0. 5. How often do you see this problem? by design 1st DRS zone of the lap not triggering on lap 3

Wondering if this just happens to me, as I’ve not seen anyone else taking about it.... A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. DRS only activates from the 2nd DRS zone of the lap on lap 3. The same occur when DRS is allowed again 2 laps after a (full) safety car. Next lap, provided you’re still within 1s of the car ahead, it works as it it should (eg DRS is useable in the first DRS zone of the lap). Any single-player game mode, during a race We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? Yes. Edit: I started the next race at the Austrian GP and I got an email from Carl about development updates and the performancr graph he showed me was outdated. It says it it for the recent GPs but when I look at the R&D Progress History what he sent me is the performance from back at race 4, 5 and 6. I wondered if this might help work out what's gone wrong with the acclaim levels, maybe the game save has corrupted somehow but it hasn't said anything. I've attached photos of Carl's email and the R&D Progress History to show what I mean. 1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. I'm having the same issue. I had just signed a 3rd sponsor after reaching level 10 team acclaim before the French GP. I then came back on to do the French GP, I previously quit before I'd started any practice sessions but on the screen where you can choose to simulate them or advance. After I then finished the race I noticed my driver and team acclaim were both back to level 1 and even after the race it showed me I had completed sponsor bonuses but I didn't receive the money from them. Now back on the management screen I can see all my sponsors have disappeared besides the main one you start with and my team acclaim is now level 3 because it leveled up from being reset to level 1 after the GP, and my driver acclaim is level 2 for the same reason. 2. I just bought this edition of F1 2020 for split screen mode, and I discovered a good surprise: the F1 RETRO. But there is a problem with the physics of these cars. they still have oversteer when accelerating out of a corner. Even if i accelerate slowly. I am an experienced virtual driver and even if I took the trajectory allowing to put the steering wheel quite straight out of a corner so as to put the gas back in a very stable manner, there is still the oversteer on exiting the curve . This absolutely must be corrected. Did you put a script to have this behavior each time you exit a slow curve? oddly with the steering wheel straight, the rear axle could slide a little to the right or a little to the left ... but there, each time, the rear axle oversteer in the direction of the turn, even with the steering wheel straight! strange..... Also, if you can add some tire screeching sound to help recognize that you're starting to oversteer, it would be nice even if in real life it doesn't squeal. But first, please, correct this oversteer problem; it looks like a scripted pendulum Thank you !

It is obvious a connection problem. Some of us have this error, some of us not. In addition to this, I have a 'Black Screen In Communicating with Online Services' issue that appears when I try to return to Main Menu after a TT session. The game sticks with this screen and only way to pass this through is restarting game. Somehow the game stops communicating with the server and the game stays there forever with the 'Black Screen In Communicating with Online Services' I am curious whether the guys here have the same problem (Black Screen In Communicating with Online Services) besides TT leaderboard issue.

First time ever I noticed a button "watch highlights" after the race has been in Austria with patch 1.08, cannot be 100% sure but I guess it was the first time that button was there. I could watch the race highlights (very well done!) and also record them with my cam. I was expecting to do the same after the following race, Silverstone (patch 1.09) but... that button is not there anymore! Why? How can I watch the race highlights? Did you manage to get a report code, a 16 digit code in the bottom left of the screen. Also, between 0:13 and 0:28 is a screen not associated and in the game. Can you explain what this is when possible? Was there an ISP issue here? -

What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue Well, turning DLSS off fixes the issue, but overall the feature is great. To me, it looks sharper than native resolution + TAA, but the ghosting issue is bothersome. 7. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) Xbox One controller 8. In Racing Simulation 2: Monaco Grand Prix from Dreamcast, both front & rear wing including the nose cone can flew off separately. It also featured tire burst/punctures, twisted suspension when you went off track and hit the curb or bounced-off the gravel too hard (not just completely came off), could even slightly twists the monocoque and split the whole thing in half under heavy hit, with engine & gearbox rules implemented with the possibility of these components complete fail in the game as well. Oh, and the car collision model is not just a box compare to most games at that era or even nowadays, you could climb over other cars if your wheel hit other car's wheel at certain angle and the car could even go airborne and flip. All done before the year 2000. Though, that game is not licensed by F1 so it's probably not fair to compare it with ours, but the tech is definitely possible. In my opinion it's the most underrated F1 game ever.

I had completed Practice and Qualifying for Monaco in my first season of MyTeam. I'm not a fan of Monaco in game so I decided to simulate the race since I had a good starting position. I hit Simulate and there was a black screen with a loading symbol for a couple of seconds, and then just a black screen. I left it for several minutes as often when loading a session my game will black screen but usually it quickly loads. Since this clearly wasn't happening in this case I closed the game and relaunched it. When I got back into the MyTeam menu I was welcomed by the rivalry page (with Kvyat) and the weekend money page. I've then gone to check the results and there is nothing there for the Monaco Grand Prix and it just lets me move on to Azerbaijan. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.03 Xbox One Game-mode? My Team What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. I have only had this scale of error once as I don't want to risk my MyTeam save by testing it. The black screen as a general issue has happened countless times since I got the game. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Codemasters will struggle a lot to make me purchase any of their new games for a good while. As a massive Toca/Race Driver/Grid fan, I waited years for this game to happen, only to have the worst game Codemasters made in recent times. Incomplete, at one point totally unplayable, and with lots of broken promises, like the split screen mode or the game running at 60 fps in all systems. At least they TRIED to fix some issues and added MP lobbies, race length options, and stats. Along with some free cars and tracks to compensate. But ultimately, the game was beyond salvation. Which is a shame, cuz the core gameplay is fun.

In real life, setups between teams mates are transparent. Both sides of the garage will have access to the setup data for each car. Practice run plans often are mirrored, so they can get back to back comparisons between different setups. Amongst other things, this can include tyre pressures, suspension setups (camber, ride height, roll stiffness, torsion bars etc..), wing levels - all of which are modifiable in game. So therefore, it'd be nice to be able to at least see what setup your team mate is running. As a player, we could then do something different to find out the relative strengths and weaknesses, helping to find our optimum setup. Also, for less experienced players, it'd give them a decent starting place for a setup (Yes I know they have the 5 stock setups, but I'm unsure if they're track specific or just 5 generic setups that cover all tracks). Also, as an extension of this, it'd be nice to get some basic info on AI cars. In real life, teams have photographers on contract who's job it is to get shots of competitor cars on track, and spy shots in the garage if possible! So some basic setup info, such as wing level would be readily accessible. In fact, even the most casual viewer sat at home on the TV can spot that. Obviously the game doesn't adjust aero cosmetically (which is a shame, it'd be a neat touch if it did that too), so we have no way of knowing what aero levels the AI are running. So if there was a screen that said this kind of thing, that'd be beneficial. This is not something that wouldn't be readily accessible in real life, so it should be implemented into the game IMO. The figures don't have to be exact either, maybe the screen could say something like Front wing 8-10, Rear Wing 9-11? This would give you a range, somewhere in which their setup sits. It'd be a good ball park figure at least! Maybe in the future take it one step further and have this as an upgradeable feature in HQ - allowing you to be more accurate? Or get other basic info on other setup attributes, like maybe anti roll bar or stiffness. This could be based on hypothetical in game team radio (ie, the driver supposedly said to the engineer there's too much oversteer so want to go softer on the rear). Maybe I'm over complicating things here and rolling too far with this - but I do think an implementation of a team mate setup screen and basic competitor setup screen should be possible and would be true to real life. Your thoughts please?

Hi there I have always loved F1 and have been playing F1 games for as long as I can remember, I just have a few things I would like to see in upcoming F1 games. Tyre usage, giving you the ability to be able to save tyres and use tyres at will, not be locked out of your tyre usage. Example, you can use an un-used set of tyres that you saved from practice and take them into qualifying or in the race in career, Grand Prix, leagues or online, etc The ability to pick or have a teammate in multiplayer cars in unranked, ranked lobbies or leagues The ability to choose how many drivers you want to have on the grid. Say you run a multiplayer car league, you can set more than 20 drivers on the grid. If you use F1 teams then you are limited to only 20 drivers More focus on the league system, having the ability to set stewards in the race, who can manually overrule or hand out penalties during the race. Potentially the in game stewards could be able to have access to a camera angle or on their screens which has every racers individual screen on it (Not sure how feasible or possible this may be but just an idea). Reserve driver selection needs to be improved particularly when you go to set reserve drivers. When you invite a player to take over as a reserve driver you can select from the list of drivers registered to the league on who they will be replacing for that race. Multiplayer car can be used in Grand Prix mode. In the editor menu you can select a team mate not currently with a current F1 team and then race your car. Performance can be edited in the editor menu. Also to be able to select what engine you would use. For Grand Prix mode this would make an extra team on the grid if you do not wish to just play my team Tyre heating and performance, making the drivers have to work to keep the tyres in the right window as they can be affected by track temperature, air temperature and whether much more than currently like in the real world of racing. Even locking up can flat spot the tyres, a bad enough lock up might force the driver to have to pit in for a new set. Esport racing is much more similar then any other esport series. There should be more emphasis and push that an esport racer or a everyday racer could jump into a proper formula car and have some knowledge of how the car and tyres work and feels. This giving esport drivers the chance to make it into the real world of racing. Potential to have a simulation specific game mode. This could be the addition of either a new game mode added with causal, standard and then simulation. This would also make the game a much bigger file size but would create a more realistic driving emersion. This plays into point number 6. Potential to run practice programs from career in unranked/league practice sessions. Giving the drivers the same information in practice programmes for unfranked / league races that they would have in career mode, which they can see in qualifying and race which will allow them to make a more informed decision. Safety car updates. Allow the back markers to pass the safety car and catch up to the field rather than being in the way. The safety car will need to wait for the drivers unlapping themselves to join the back of the field. Could have a specific time or lap number that back markers have to catch back up. Revised damage model. Being able to damage the floor, barge boards, or the rear wings when making contact rather than just only the front wing. This could be a sliding scale on how much you would allow the car to be able to be damaged such as regular, full or simulation damage More filters in unranked lobbies. Tracks, laps, practice, qualifying, damage etc Filter system in Car Setups. This will allow you to set many different variations in set ups at anytime and then easily be able to find them by filtering by tracks for you setup rather than scrolling down through many setups before you find the one you want. More in depth capabilities for 'Spectators' when viewing or running unranked lobbies or leagues. Adding extra depth into how the spectator can change between drivers, tyre usage, timing sectors etc. This could be done by potentially being able to map certain buttons on controllers or keyboards so that you can quick change rather than surfing through the driver board or the main index. Extra camera angles in spectator mode. Only having the two angles in which you can choose does limit how the spectator can view a particular battle or scene. Being able to make use of all the camera angles in single player replays will give the spectator/viewer a wider variety to choose from. Lastly, track limits. You should be able to use as much of the track as F1 drivers are allowed to use. Eg, Austria, the drivers are able use all of the curbs so long as they have a tyre on the curb. This will need to vary from track to track but using the same track limits as what the drivers were able to use from the past season will improve the drivers overall speed

F1 Esports Event - Italy Game Crash Problem

Hi, I reinstalled my game and still the same problem. The score screen says the goal is Passed, but everything else is 0 (fastest lap, etc). The best score is also "-" still First time launching game after reinstalling I had a black screen right after I launched the game. Closed the game from Task manager and reopened the game again. I do not know if it related to the main problem, but might be helpful. Also, it felt like that game was not running so smoothly that it was before. I'm thinking to reinstall my windows now. -

The game kicks you out when trying to set tyre strategy. You can join after formation lap, but all temperatures are set to the lowest value possible. Also, on this video you can see that I've got an instant fastest lap, even though I didn't finish a lap. 6. What troubleshooting have you attempted?
