BarryBL replied to Spillyy's topic in Systems and Connectivity TA

0 error codes as it didn't crash my game/break it but I lagged out of a race, and when I rejoined I got back into my car, and usually when you join back to a lobby certain things don't work, can't look backwards for e.g and I tried to change my camera and it made me spectate another car while putting my one in the wall, with 0 control over the car. Platform: PC and I've seen it happen on PS4 What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) Game-mode? PC We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? I doubt I could if I bothered trying as you need your Internet to just give up on you but as said it has happened to other people. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue. Can't fix the issue bar game restart but it's a thing in the game What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) Wheel Any screenshots or video of the issue? esports DiRT Rally 2.0 World Series - 2020 Season
Maxiemwagenaar replied to PJTierney's topic in DiRT Rally 2.0
Again split by platform and in TT format? The xbox people better step it up this time otherwise I'll regret not buying one for an easy spot. Sounds harsh but it was the reality last time around. Apart from maybe 1-2 people there were 50-100 faster people that could've gotten those qualifier spots based on their times. -

If we try to make qualify at the end we have an error "Not possibile trasfer the data" (something like this, I play in Italian so I don't know how is the original error message). Giving the league code si possible from the support to solve the big problem and let the league restart? (I really need it for Tomorrow ) 2. Had to delete/reinstall. Bonus feature is I get brakes anywhere I touch the screen, no accelerator! This is going to definitely make winning duals a bit harder.

As I mentioned in a previous post I'm a big fan of the game but it saddens me to see so many flaws that in my opinion are very basic for a racing game. No ghost mode to see how record times were done. As a host, I want to be able to cancel the current round whenever I want and proceed to the next one. Very long loading times (I know, probably not much you can do about it but maybe cache a bit more if I'm playing something I played earlier the same session). Possibility to skip XP summary after multiplayer races. This screen delays the loading time a lot before you arrive in the lobby or start loading the next race. I can skip in singleplayer, so maybe add the same for multiplayer. Possibility to skip the scoreboard summary after each race (the 20 seconds are pretty useless and add time to the already long loading screen following it). Related to the previous one: I only want to see the loading screen for the next map after a round is finished instead of three (incl. XP summary). When looking at leaderboards for different maps and cars, Please remember my selection so I don't have to reselect all the parameters every time. For example, if I choose "Okutama GP", "Sprint", "R26" and decide I want to see the times for the "Grand Circuit" instead it's another 27 clicks before I reach that option. It would've been just two clicks if it remembered what I just chose 5 seconds ago. I'm usually playing time attack with my friends cycling between a few maps and there's no way to disable vehicle collision. This means that sometimes you'll collide with the one in front of you if you're both having good runs but you're a tiny bit faster. Someone has to give up their current lap for the other player (did you even try time attacks?). When I create a game and choose a vehicle category I would love to see all available cars in that category (just a simple list would be fine). Now I have to memorize them class by class. I can, however, see the cars when the event is created, which makes me jump back and forth until I find the car that's on my mind. Neither I nor my friends can find any option to save a replay. You can watch it after a race (singleplayer only?) but there's no way for me to show my friends how I'm doing a specific lap And show my split times (as replays hide the UI AFAIK) unless I'm streaming to services, such as Twitch (which allows to save videos), which lowers my performance in-game. That's what's on the top of my mind right now. I know many of these are simple implementation fixes and I'd highly appreciate if you'd fix some of them (e.g. save (and cut) replays + no-collision mode) and as a UX/UI designer, I'd be happy to help out if there's anything I can do (no, I'm not looking for a job. I'm just passionate about the game ).

with developers [PC][Multiplayer League] League Load Times
TCLextremgx replied to TCLextremgx's topic in Systems and Connectivity TA
Hey @BarryBL ! It's been a while. I hope you and the team are healthy and well. On the weekend my friend and I tried again to start a league. Steps we took: 1. My friend open a league session and I couldn't even connect to the Lobby. "Connecting to ... 100%" -> nothing happens. 2. After that I opened the session instead and let my friend connect. Worked after a computer restart on his side. 3. As soon as we both managed to join the lobby screen. I started the session and both of us managed to connect and join in game right away. 4. We played the 30 min practice session and didn't experience any lag or desync. 5. Unfortunately at the end of the session we both got the error that the results of the session couldn't be saved. We when didn't try any further, because we would have to play the practice session again... This was on version 1.10 We will try again with the newest version next weekend. If you have any further details in the mean time, let us know 🙂. Here are the report codes: Mine: EVTX-JBTB-VSBX-APMG JTLopez: DTEV-MKSJ-HBRR-EKMG ASAH-PCVM-DKXA-SBVG All the best! extremgx -

What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) The latest & greatest, 1.08 Game-mode? Driver career & My team career We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? The problem comes & goes without warning. Has occurred from the very start when I play the game, but it has also come out of nowhere after I’ve been playing a wheel (have had it spring up both when I restart a race or when I move to the next race when the previous race it was fine) How do you make the problem happen? I don’t. The game does. At a whim. Worse still, it can go away again on a whim too, but I’ve found once it appears I’m stuck with it for at least a few days. Relaunching the game & rebooting my pc (or my ps4 as was the case last year) doesn’t seem to have any bearing on whether it occurs or not. UPDATE: the bug occurs when the shifter is in any gear & goes away again when the shifter is placed in neutral. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue Detailed description of a workaround that has since stopped working in the post above, but the TL;DR is enabling a different control profile then enabling my desired - customised - controller profile straight after. Have also managed to make it go away once or twice by removing the binding for the clutch & then configuring it again. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) Logitech G29 Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears. Yeah, it’s uploading now. Will add it shortly. -
I applied it straight away without thinking lol. Should of got a screen shot really.

Ok, I've edited the MyTeam power unit performance files for Ferrari, Honda and Renault. Mercedes didn't need to be edited, the lines for power unit were identical with the AI. Only lines associated with the power unit (i.e. engine power, fuel) have been copied over from the AI files (for Honda, I took the lines from the Red Bull file - there were slight differences between Red Bull and Alpha Tauri and I wanted the Honda file to have the fullest potential). In all 3 cases before editing, the user's MyTeam engine was more powerful than AI powered by the same power unit brand. They should now be equal. Please note that these edits will have no change upon the engine purchase screen or R&D ranking screens. Assuming that it's allowed, I shall be uploading these files to Racedepartment for anyone who wants a more realistic experience. If this isn't allowed, someone from Codemasters will have to let me know and I shall remove them immediately. I'll let you guys know when it's been uploaded.

Dear Codemasters, After having a glitch a few weeks ago at Silverstone, which forced me to use the fuel assist ON, this week again a glitch on the USA weekly. 1. Description of the issue: the game failes to report my qualy time of the weekly challenge. I have gone through the practice sessions and set a qualy time 1.30.89x which puts me on pole but the time is not reported in the ranking and the overall screen of the event does not let me see the time recorded. 2. Version; 1.12 3. Game mode; Weekly challenge online 4. Recreate the issue; No, qualy time does not counts and I can restart the qualy but than have to take a penalty for it ... 5. How often; I have had more issues as stated at the intro. Last time on Silverstone I could not set a proper time as it forced me to use fuel assist which is useless and influences' my lap time negatively 6. Troobleshooting; tried restarting, fresh console start, reinstalled the game last week due to game crashes 7. Accessories; Thrustmaster tmx leather edition, F1 (thrustmaster open wheel add on) steer, Thrustmaster T-LCM pedals 8. Screenshots; see below (dont get it why the pictures are upsidedown) ... Please fix these issues as it prevents me to enjoy the game!

1. A detailed description of the problem. Please enter all error codes here. Time Trail, online lobbies 4. What are your replication numbers? There are minimal test attempts 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps so we can try. Talked to drivers, compared TimeTrail lists, Tested even with ABS (otherwise drive without) 5. What troubleshooting have you tried? Please always try to fix the problem to be faster with ABS and talked to other fast drivers to test out Most say ABS on is faster! Which cannot be. 6. Which peripherals do you use (gamepad, bike manufacturer & model etc.) Fanatec DD, other guys have the CSL Elite 7. Any screenshots or videos of the problem? If the video is long, please provide a timestamp when the problem occurs. Could only show TT screen shots

[PC][Multiplayer League] Getting stuck at the "waiting for players" screen – (20/20)

1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. AI drivers are not giving a second try on Q1 and Q2. Today racing in Bahrain, I saw Ricciardo being eliminated in Q1, Verstappen and Leclerc being eliminated in Q2, and Bottas staying in 10th, both of them took just one lap at the start of the session and did not attempt a hot second lap. This happens in all races, Australia, China, Vietnam, the Netherlands, Spain ...... 2. Platform PS4 3. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.07 4. Game-mode? Career mode 5. What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. Several times 6. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue Nothing. 7. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) Gamepad 8. Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears. No @BarryBL -
I understand that to get an accurate FoV the screen size should be the same as real world size. So a 2m vertical post 10m away is approx 120mm high on a screen at 60cm. A simple drawing can confirm that. Do these FoV calaculators achieve that?? A game should have a "FoV Check". One enters eye distance from screen and game displays a vertical bar on monitor. In this case, representing a 2m post at 10m, the gamer having entered 60cm eye distance, the game would display a vertical bar with the instruction to move a slider until the vertical bar measures 12cm on the screen. Angles, screen size and aspect ratio are irrelevant.

No connection to network services F1 2019
saggyboobsock replied to SEgupov's topic in Technical Assistance
I am in the same position as SleekRL, downloaded via Xbox Game Pass for PC and the game doesn't get past the first "Communicating with Online Services..." screen after clicking any button on the title screen, sits there indefinitely, so I Alt+F4 the game. First open of the game I was able to go through the character setup process, but once that saved it went to connect to the online services and became stuck. Have tried many other times to get online but it's not working. Last attempt was 2020-07-31 9:54 AM UTC. I tried to find the ports to open NAT for the servers but can't find any info on which ports to use. Windows: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 19041) Game version: 1.22 (but Microsoft Store shows 1.66.9979.0) Estimate of time reported for the problem: 2020-07-31 9:54 AM UTC Is the problem always there or is it intermittent: Always Any troubleshooting methods attempted: Restart game, restart PC, modem/router Title screen with version; Game version as shown in Microsoft Store;- 97 replies

How often do you see this problem? Is this the only time or does it always happen? answer above 6. Have you tried troubleshooting? We recommend the steps here as a starting point for any problems.
