I use no assists other than pit assist which does not impact the Assist score anyway. I raced a second time and bettered my score by a little over a thousand points but again I received 0 points for Assist Bonus. There is no point in doing any more races as it is clear it is a waste of time and I will not receive the points I am supposed to. 2. Platform PS4 3. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.08 4. Game-mode? Weekly Event GP 5. What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. I've replicated this twice, both times I received 0 points for Assist Bonus. Complete the Weekly Event GP at Spa and you will either get Assist points or not. I know of at least 1 other player who also received 0 points for Assist Bonus. 6. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue I cannot fix the issue, it's a glitch in the event 7. The other is a screenshot of my assist settings for the Spa Weekly Event showing what Assists I'm using, or not.... in this case. @BarryBL What I would like to have happen is for the staff at Codemasters to properly calculate my score by adding the missing Assist Bonus points that I should already have and to then place me on the leaderboard where I belong, ( using the higher of the 2 scores obviously ) and if this is done after the end of the event, I'd like the proper trophy manually sent to me in my mail with my proper position. I have no idea where I truly ended up and it was my first Belgian GP Event with your game in any year. I'd at least like to know what my score should have been. This has never happened to me in either 2019 or 2020. Please fix this. The Weekly Event is the only reason I play this game. Just wanted to add that I just finished up the Weekly Event at Silverstone in F1 2019 and had no issues receiving all the points there. So that tells me it's nothing to do with me and it's a bug in the Spa Event. -
solved Patch 1.05 - Messed up wheel controls

1. When you start your practice program everything is fine BUT when you want to restart the program again my gas pedal is suddenly also a camera up pedal and brake pedal becomes suddenly an camera look down/behind pedal at the same time 2. I can fix it in game but its not the way how it should be, restart practice program - drive with the glitch - use flashback - and then it works normally 6. I know most people hate Jeff, but sometimes he can be pretty useful... 1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. No error codes. I have no Jeff for the whole online session. When I ask for updates in front behind, I get no answer. Not even the usual chit chat from him at the start of the race. Unplayable with G920 after 1.05 patch

Yep same issue started happening after recent 1.09 patch for me. The throttle stays at 100 in just the menu screen but in game it is fine. The symbol of the throttle has also changed (z-) and also my forcefeedback feels so light and feels inverted as if understeer has been swapped with oversteer. Any fixes yet? Also this only happens on f12020 not ac, acc or any other game. -

Have never been able to get past Monaco with the game crashing so I re installed and now it’s totally unplayable as in either mode it just gets stuck on the team hq loading screen 2. Platform ps4 3. Would like to see the pit crew more active and moving round car they seem very static and in one position. Maybe as well adding your team's garage as the back drop to the menu screen once you set up your team it appears on screen that way everybody's game is unique to them and different depending on how you build and set up your team they done sumthing similar with the PES games few hrs back your team trained to n the back ground and you could watch them do drills while on the menu screen. Plus F1 stats and pointers from engineer thru controller mic as well while in the menu screen again livens up the menu screen. @BarryBL -

As you can see in the video: first, came the big screen with “communicating online services”. after the big screen the TT leaderboards wouldn’t load (another issue that still exists). Same here....I'm going to check out if I can use zoom/different aspect ratio on my gaming TV. I really like the experience of driving car on the dash/inside car view but the view of the track/road view can be limited so I've chose bonnet cam for better FOV. It would be great if I can get an enhanced driver cam FOV with a few adjustments to screen size.

Time Trial Laps Invalidating before they start

The following laps typically become penalized as well, despite them being totally clean, until you restart the lap again. 2. Platform PC 3. Time trial standing stop loading/updating after 11 + laps

After about 11 laps the board position & rival will stop updating, even if a new fast lap time occurs. Return to garage and standings are stuck in downloading content. Quitting and returning does not fix. Close and re-start game will restore function. Times achieved after the loss of stats do seem to be uploaded. 2. Platform PS4 Pro 3. Pick a track with default ghost to insure some progression. Slowly add better times each lap. after 11th lap rivals and board position stop updating. Return to garage. View stats 6. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue Tried end sessions and restart, change track, wet/dry. Only close application at PS menu will restore 7. patch 1.09 Contract/Driver Market bugs

@BarryBL I'll post the proper bug report with videos in one hour. But looks like these issues are related. Maybe consider merging the threads? There is more to it though. No market activity of any kind took place and I renewed with my then 2nd driver. I had had an email before announcing that Grosjean had retired. He was even removed from the roster on the Drivers Market tab. Since no transfers happened, my 2nd season began and he's back at Haas. Again, material incoming. Just need to upload. Edit: For the others, there's a possible workaround on my link. Edit 2: The report: 1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. Video here. My team, end of a 16 round season 1 somewhere around October or November. I get the notification that my 2nd driver contract had come to its term. I also got an email saying Grosjean announced his retirement. When I get to the Drivers Market tab under Corporate though I have no option to approach my 2nd driver nor any other driver in the roster, and Grosjean is not there anymore. Even if I first press X to bring up the comparison screen on any driver, there is no Approach option available. I relaunched the game, reloaded my save and the prompt to renew the contract or approach a different driver disappeared, allowing me to go forward on the calendar. I go business as usual and notice that under the Corporate > Contracts tab, my 2nd driver is shown with a 136d until contract expiration. It stays this way until November 30th. I choose to advance time again but the calendar gets stuck on December 1st no matter what I do. I relaunch the game, reload my November 30th save, choose to advance time again, stop on December 1st and now when I go to Corporate > Contracts, my teammate is shown with 0d on his term and I get an option to renegotiate the contract. By choosing it the game takes me to Driver Market tab. Grosjean is still missing, no driver except my teammate has their green facility bonus displayed, and I get to approach either my current 2nd driver or a different one for negotiating a contract once I choose to compare them first. When I start my 2nd season, I notice that no other transfer was made and that Grosjean is back at Haas. I had previously successfully contracted a different driver mid season. I started the game with Deletraz and swapped him for De Vries. No other transfer was made. Probably goes without saying at this point but I chose to change my engine supplier too, from Honda do Mercedes, and the engine sound did not change. 2. Platform PS4 base 3. Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. Closed and relaunched the game three times. Disabled autosave every time, obviously. After I found this "workaround", I relaunched the game a 4th time and did what is shown in the video below. After I got it going with autosave disabled, I went through everything as normal and started my Australian GP. Found no option to manual save, so when I exited to the main menu and reloaded the game I had to go through all those steps again since November of my 1st season, facing all the same bugs – so there's a 5th replication attempt right there I guess. 6. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue Restarted the game and reloaded the save several times as described in "5". 7. Just encountered this bug too. I'll post it in a hour or so. What is glitching is the 2nd driver contract. The option for renewal or to approach a different driver didn't show up and if you went to your contract screen you'd probably see that your current 2nd driver still had a contract until June or so. Turns out that is wrong. Stop on December 1st. Go to the Finances tab. On the contract screen you'll see the option to renegotiate your 2nd driver contract. Do it, and you'll be taken to the proper drivers market screen and will even be able to approach different drivers. After securing a 2nd driver you'll be able to advance beyond December 1st. My team stuck with AI driving car after race end, podium or standings cutscenes never load

Loading a myTeam race takes longer than usual since updates made to ingame driver ratings....Finishing any MyTeam race, I cant view the results it sticks with the AI driving the car and the results or even podium never load. in order to progress through career mode i have to force quit the game and reload onto the grid and retire, recording a DNF 2. Controls won’t navigate through F1 2020 main menu while wheels plugged in

Please include any error codes here.: I’ve been having this bug when I have my Thrustmaster T500RS wheels plugged into my PS4, the controls from my controller and wheel won’t navigate through the main menu in F1 2020, before this happened I was racing the Benetton B194 around Brazil in the Rain and after the race my controls won’t navigate through the main menu, the only way to stop this is by disconnecting the wheel but I can’t drive using the controller, this problem has been happening since Friday 28th August 2020 at 1pm AEST. If you can fix this in the next update I’ll be happy, Thank you 2. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen): Version 1.08 3. Game-mode?: Main Menu (but also happens in the pause menu, the Pit Garage ingame and in the HQ) 4. Are you able to recreate the issue? Audio glitching throughout a session

OK so it's in corners. I think it probably is game performance. The audio is probably suffering from the increased frametime / decreased framerate - I assume the consoles don't have the audio update rate option? Plus, you're unlikely to have an FPS counter on-screen (Steam/Afterburner). Use cockpit view - on PC the framerate is considerably improved. I realise there is not a lot you can do on console to change anything. Just thinking out loud and expressing opinion - I don't have a console to test anything, but I am aware that some Bluetooth devices have updated firmwares that might not have been carried out on console. Also, that additional audio processor on the USB bus can introduce latency, I got rid of a G430 that had a 7.1 audio dongle as it did affect the game performance. Thanks for trying the suggestions. -
Interested to see that 10 of the cars started on the soft tyre whereas the other 12 started on the hard tyre so almost a 50/50 spilt for the feature race and not everyone doing the same at Silverstone last weekend Surely having split strategies can be replicated on the f2 part of the game instead of everyone doing the same strategy either with a patch update of when the f2 2020 cars and drivers are added to the game

Hey gals and guys. I was always interested in setting up the car in games, but what frustrated me the most - was lack of the data to visualize what`s going on with the car, telemetry. Now that we have that in DR 2.0, I was looking forward to downloading apps for it. Yeah, right, no success. I guess the game isn`t that popular. So I started developing my own. Not having touched coding for 6+ years, I became rusty but managed to put together something. It`s still in, Alpha phase but I wanted to share the progress with you and see if there is any interest for public release. For free of course, we already paid enough for the game itself. Long story short, here`s short video of the tool (sorry about crappy quality, I was on my laptop with tons of dev tools open). I`ve seen one other tool, Dirt Telemetry that was for DR1 but also works with DR2. And the problem was overlaying the game. With my app, I`ve managed to emulate the full screen mode and setting the telemetry on top of it, so it looks like the game itself. The window background is black and you can move it around to set the position. When the stage starts, window becomes transparent and only telemetry is visible. Also it`s completely click-through, so game won`t lose focus if you hover or click on it - the game doesn`t see it at all. It`s still emulating full screen mode, removing the borders and maximizing the window (taskbar is on auto hide). Overlaying true full screen mode involves tempering with the game itself and rendering in DirectX - too much hassle for the time I have (plus, it`s considered cheating so wouldn`t be surprised if Codemasters took some action ) Now, about the telemetry itself, here`s a main window, I`ll explain the data shown. Layout represents the car (obviously :D). Wheels numbers show difference between car speed and that particular wheel speed. When accelerating they`ll be positive and negative during braking/deceleration. Wheels change color to reflect: stationary, acceleration, deceleration and locked. It`s pretty neat being able to see what each wheel is doing real-time. Brake disks change color based on temperature. There are no numbers for disks as I haven`t noticed any degradation in brake force in relation to temperature. For anyone concerned - max value is 650 degrees. Vertical bars next to wheels represent suspension. Upper is compression, lower is rebound, respectively for each wheel. Getting the values here was tricky. DR2 telemetry only gives suspension position in relation to car. So if you lower or raise the car, tool won`t know it. So at the start of the stage telemetry will say that suspension position is -15, but tool doesn`t know if that is because it hit a hole or it`s by setup. So at the beginning of each stage tool will take start position as relative and apply the offset. The issue with that is that at some stages car will be on an uneven surface so some dampers will be extended or compressed than others. The tool tries to average it out between wheels, but still there`ll be some small differences. Axles represent the differential. It doesn`t show the difference in torque but difference in speed of each wheel. Play with the diff lock ratio to see the impact. Open the diff and the slider will move much more on loose tracks. Center diff represents difference in speed between averaged front and back wheel speeds. On left and right side there are "Fast" and "Slow" indicators. They represent which compression setting is currently active. In game (and real life) dampers have separate valves for fast and slow bumps. That means that depending on velocity of suspension travel - one or the other setting will be applied. Slow bumps are 90% of race, fast bumps are for hitting holes or that one straight in Argentina where you flat out over humps. If you record your drive, you can see when the fast damping is active and adjust either your settings or ride. Threshold can be set in game, and is for now hard-coded for default value in tool (0.6m/s). I`ll add option later to manually set it so it reflects your real setting (in a case you have played around with settings for fast bumps). (In the video you can clearly see Fast being activated as I french kiss the hill flatting out at 0:43 or when my tire decided to abandon the vehicle) The lower slider is lateral G force, the right hand side, long one is for longitudinal G force. Nothing fancy, but it gives some info for tuning your car. Lowest middle line is stage progress bar. I run clean HUD except speedometer, so it comes in handy on longer stages when I puncture tire - to change the tire or bite the bullet? Handbrake is there, but doesn`t have direct representation in data, so the tool calculates it. If back wheels are locked, and speed is greater than 0 and front wheels are doing something and some other parameters I forgot. But it`s pretty accurate. Last there are gear indicator, current speed (yes it`s in imperial, yes there will be option to change it ), RPM. Note that there is no input visualization: Throttle, Brake, Clutch, Wheel. That by design as I`m developing additional overlay window to replace in game one. That window will be detachable and user will be able to position it anywhere on the screen, as you can do with currently show telemetry window. Now, I`m pretty bad with math and vectors are science fiction for me, but we do have data for that also. Namely: Velocity, Roll and Pitch vectors. If you have any application for it, maybe I can implement it. Here`s a question for all of you: What would you like to see in the tool that would be useful given the data we have? Maybe I can implement it as I dust the rust away from my coding skills.

solved Engine supplier change doesnt change sound

When I change my Engine supplier after a Season the Sound stays the same and doesn't change, my first engine was Honda switched to Mercedes Sound did not change at all. Ah, well the suggestion is really only if you're a console player. It's the trick I used which gave me the single biggest improvement in times: using my TV zoom to simulate a Field-of-View adjustment. Sadly FoV is not available in software in the console versions. And DR2.0 has its default FoV quite wide, so objects distort at the sides of the picture, but worst of all, the road appears too damn small. But hey, it makes the game feel all awesome like Wipeout or something. If your TV allows it, you can use its zoom function to expand the image and basically re-create lowering the FoV. It's limited by the extent to which on-screen menu items become no longer visible. For me it's mainly the speedometer in the lower RH corner, but shifting the image as well as zooming allowed me to effectively lower the overall FoV to a really nice level that's a perfect overall balance. The other huge benefit is the game feels much more immersive to me, like I'm really in the car. It's something I've banged on a lot about on these forums, and a hat-tip to @A-M-A-R-85 for the work-around suggestion in the first place. As you're also playing on PC you've no doubt tried out the FoV adjustment slider on that platform!

Is this the same issue? In this case, looks like my driver's acclaim got subtracted, my 2nd driver's acclaim worked as intended and the combined team acclaim went up but to a smaller extent? Last GP of a 16 round season. Went through practice, aced my programmes and had an interview at the end (0:47). Two questions, the "you spent a lot of time on the track... Does the car have enough reliability to sustain that?" to which I answered "tests like this are what help us to improve reliability" for the first time under the assumption that it's a positive answer and one about my rivalry that I refused to answer. On the Team Acclaim screen (1:37), my driver has a blue 24% modifier that is subtracted from my driver's progress bar while my teammate has a 16% blue mod that is added as usual. The Combined Acclaim Boost for the team dislays a 40% (24+16) blue mod that increases the progress bar but apparently to a lesser extent than 40% otherwise should. I have the marketing department on spec two, but it's been there for the last GP at least I think and it's the first time I noticed my progress being negatively modified by the boost. Maybe this is working as intended and I actually got a negative acclaim modifier for my driver badly performing on the interview, but even still the presentation is off? If my 24% were of negative rep then it should be a total -8% (=-24+16) acclaim for the team and it should go backwards instead of slightly progressing forwards? You're not mistaken as the badge is on the select screen. But, "custom team" appears where we see official team names, such as Haas F1 Team.
