with developers The split screen mode is not working
RamboDoBrasil replied to RamboDoBrasil's topic in Gameplay Issues and Bugs TA
@BarryBL IT WORKED! It really seems to be a problem when identifying the players. Steps: 1. I closed the game and removed all controls. 2. I connected the PS4 controller and started the game. 3. I selected the split screen and then the game alerted me that the device was being used by player 1. 4. Now I connected the second controller and pressed X. 5. From there everything worked. -
1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. Game sometimes crashes but my main problem is that I can't save my progress in split screen mode. For example I choose all the tracks (26 races) and with my friend we finish for example after 5 races. After we're back in this mode everything start frome the beginning. In option Auto-Save is enable 2. Platform xbox 3. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.05 4. Split screen mode 5. What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT steps for us to try too. More than 10...More than 30. replication 6. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, twice. Restarted my xbox, twice. Deleted all the schumacher + other add ons & haven't reinstalled those. Keep trying to open anything in the game and it just crashes to homescreen. No error notice. If i try and load a race it will go to load screen, load, then crash. For non-race things, once you get through the first menu and select something, it'll crash immediately. 7. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) controller 8. Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears. @BarryBL © 2018 The Codemasters Software Company Limited (“Codemasters”). Suggestion In previous F1 games (I think before Codemasters), there was always an option to change the grid order for a race in a Grand Prix-style mode. The most recent example i can think of was F1 2006 (see below). You could move drivers to any starting position for the race, which was great because you could arrange the drivers into the same order as a real-life race and reenact it. Rationale I've always thought this would be a great option to reintroduce to the series, particularly as we have had so many good races recently. How cool would it be to set the grid up like it was in Germany 2019 or put 2/3 front-running cars out of position and in the pack and race through with them? At the moment, you can skip qualifying to place yourself at the back, but it would be awesome to move everyone around and fully customise this! How would it work? If you chose this mode, the lap times could be made up as no qualifying would have took place and just simulated to look authentic. Or the time could simply read --/---/--- which i don't think would bother anyone either. Of course, this would work best in Grand Prix Mode, but it could also work in split-screen or multiplayer modes with friends! Would be great to get some of your thoughts on this!

Use 2 Logitech G29 in F1 2020 split screen mode
JoelYTP posted a topic in Gameplay Issues and Bugs TA
Hello, We have bought a second G29 Steering Wheel to play simultaneously in the split screen mode of F1 2020, but the 2nd wheel does not react at all within the game. It is fully funktional, as it is working alone, but not 2 G29 in parallel. Any ideas ? -

In what exact areas does the Split-Screen crash @KDsquared? I'll get this sent off for testing internally. -
Most of the times split screen does not work. It lands on CE-34878-0 error screen on PS4 screen. I have tried the split screen with casual settings. Mostly on Austria, 25% as well as 5 laps. I have been able to play only the 5 lap races and that to only 3 or 4 times. Every other time (about 20 - 25 other times) that I have tried it, it always goes to that error screen. In the bottom of the start screen it says 1.03 version but in PS4 library it says 1.04 version. Game mode is split screen Tried it at least 25 times and the error screen has presented itself about 20 times. Only 3 or 4 times I have been able to play it without error. I have a PS4 slim. To replicate try to play the split screen mode on either 25% or 5 laps. I have mostly tried it on Austria, but looks like track doesn't matter. I am using 2 controllers. I am using casual controls without steering assist. 1P was Williams Russell and 2P was mercedes bottas. Restarting the game and other modes like career or time trial works. Even after restarting split screen doesn't work. Screen shot is just like the one in this post - Please let me know if you want any other details. I love this sport and more importantly I love this game! I love that you added split screen this year, please fix this for me!!

Shop Items and Liveries on Grand Prix and Split Screen Mode
TheF1Racer posted a topic in Suggestions
It would be nice to use shop items and liveries when playing with friends on Split Screen Mode (and other solo modes such as Grand Prix). I guess the implementation wouldn't be that difficult, since it is already there for other modes such as My Team. It would also be great if new liveries that are on their way were selectable, allowing players to choose the one they prefer for the team (Mercedes, McLaren, and so on). Thanks! -
Every time I use F2 split screen on F1 2020 on my PS4 it crashes and gives that CE 34878-0 error. Ive tried reinstalling the game, using my HDD only, tried updating the game to no avail. The rest of the game works fine including split screen on F1. Not sure why this happens? Please advise.

Hi I am not able to play split screen with a Thrustmaster T300 and a Logitech G29. The "second" wheel seems to have no function once entered split screen mode. It works with one wheel and one standard controller though. Can anyone help here? Thanks for support.

how to use 2x g29 steering set in split screen?
steviejay69 replied to firefighterrr's topic in Setups
You need to post this as a bug report so it can be tagged 'By Design'. I am afraid due to the limitation of the G29 (and most wheels) you cannot use two on the same machine. This isn't even possible on PC, let alone console. Split-screen is C A S U A L get your pads out.... -

awaiting bug report Game crashed in Splitcreen
TSJAwesome replied to Mates29's topic in Gameplay Issues and Bugs TA
I had the same issue 1.Game crashes as soon as the grid is meant to load for split screen. PlayStation says error CE-34878-0, but no updates are required so some sort of game bug. 2.Playstation 4 3.Version 1.03 4.Splitscreen 5.I tried it 8 times. 2 yesterday, and 2 at three separate times today. I selected split screen then P1 selected Williams and Latifi, P2 selected Mercedes and Hamilton, we selected Austria for the track, then I switched game style to casual and started the race. Just after the intro to the Grand Prix, it takes a long time to load to when the cars are on the grid pre race and before it can load it crashes. 6.I tried to restart the application, check for all updates but there weren’t any, and checked through all of PlayStations recommended steps for this type of issue. It concluded as some issue with the game. 7. 2 DualShock 4 wireless controllers 8.Sorry but the video failed to upload, the game waits on the black loading screen before a Grand Prix for 32 seconds before closing the application and crashing. Hopefully this is ok, as it is my first post -
Hi, I would like to know whether you can add a possibility to have the gap to the car in front and the car behind when we are using split screen mode. I also suggest if you can enable the full timing list as in single player as a possibility, not compulsory. In my view people with very big TV's can afford to have the full timing without disturbing the gameplay. Besides, if we could have the radio it would be a great addition. Only enabling one radio simultaneously, and maximum 3 times per lap per person. Otherwise, it is quite complex to have a full experience on split screen without the timings or the radio info.

When I bought the game, I was looking forward to the split screen mode, but that graphics drop doesn't make it as exciting as it could have been. I mean single and multi offline are two completely different games. My only question is, are you going to make any corrections to make the game work better in terms of fluidity and graphics? (2014 did not look like this)

awaiting information Sector delta colours are incorrect
sdenbroeder posted a topic in Gameplay Issues and Bugs TA
1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. The three sector split colours in the lap time part of the OSD are triggered incorrectly. With the current system, the colour shown in the sector (red, green, purple) correspond with the delta time at the sector split. Instead, it should reflect the sector times compared to previous little laps. For instance, if on my second lap I gain 0.500 in sector one on the lap before, and lose 0.200 in sector two, both sectors will show a green colour because I'm still up 0.300 on my previous best. In fact, however, sector one should show green (best overall), but sector two should show red (the previous best was 0.200 faster). 2.
