A detailed description of the issue. Game crashing during launch. Only solution I've found so far is to restart my laptop (asus zephyrus g14 1660) and it usually works. I've also found a weird bug where playing on an external monitor is absolutely fine (on the occasions it does launch), but playing on my laptop screen runs very badly for some reason. N/A... probably a problem with software/hardware interaction or something at y end How do you make the problem happen? Launch the game Can you add a report code. How to find this is in Main Menu > Game Options > Settings > 16 digit code in the bottom left of the screen. Please make sure that this is the code from the session you had the issue in. It doesn't seem to freeze, no crash, just "please wait" and it goes on like that and doesnt do anything at all. I can't continue my career with my team this way 😞 I'm on Windows 10, Steam, AMD (up to date drivers) videocard, using a two screen setup and play on the primary screen. 2. Here's a video: https://youtu.be/99KBIR7p68Y FIX: After being "kicked for cheating" a few times in multiplayer, while not using any mods, I validated my F1 2020 install on Steam and that did the trick. It repaired 83 files and now I can continue playing. I've got no idea how this happened, but I'm glad it's fixed.

Hi, my son has recently bought himself f1 2020 for Xbox One and is doing well in his first season - what he'd love to do though, is set the sound so that music and effects etc come through the tv, and to have just the radio guy coming through his headphones so that he get a bit more authenticity from that side of things when he's on the track, with 'Jeff' in his ear. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and how we can do it? He's using a turtle Beach P70 headset. We know that the voice control won't work with xbox unless you have Kinect (we don't), so it's just the radio idea we're trying to explore. Thanks, on his behalf

The surnames of Formula 1 or Formula 2 drivers are always written in capital letters, but your own name is not written in capital letters. When the start-grid is shown all surnames (also your own) are written in capital letters. During a race with changing conditions(going from wet to dry specifically), after the cross-over point, the new dry tires have less grip than expected, even if tires are in the working range. A.I. seems to have no issues with cornering grip whereas I must take corner 40-50 km/h slower than normal. Happened both times I have encounter wet start to dry later on in the race in MyTeam How do you make the problem happen? Pitted for dry tires after the rain stopped and the track had dried(DRS was enabled as I left pit lane). What troubleshooting have you attempted? I have noticed that the AI are to strong, I raced in 2019 at 90% and beat them but in 2020 I have the setting at 54% and they accelerate as if they were 110% please if anyone has the same issue please relate thank you

Since yesterday evening, over 50% of the time I click advance in single player, or leave session in multiplayer, I get the "Communicating with online services message" with please wait and the yellow spinning circle underneath, and it never disappears. I have left my game on this screen for just over 2 hours right now and it's still spinning. Last night this happened around 5 times over the course of 7pm - 11pm at night (BST). The only way for me to get rid of this message is to restart the game. How do you make the problem happen? it's usually when I can advance from a completed session e.g. I finished P1, clicked advance and this screen appeared, and in multiplayer, whether it was from a lobby or a race, I would click leave session/advance and this screen would appear and I have to restart the game. I only started getting this issue as of last night and I've owned the game since late July.

1) I've just finished the Canadian Grand Prix season 1 of MyTeam Career. I have safety car on and VSC on, despite cars crashing and in the middle of the race track dnf'd. There was neither a safety car or VSC (this was at Baku main straight). Since playing this game I have had no safety car and VSC, simulation damage is on and I always check if safety car is on. I only get yellow flags. I play on 110% difficulty with 100% race distance, full practice and full qualifying. 2) Xbox One Original 3) 1.10 version 4) MyTeam Career 5) Depends if AI crash (technically) 6) I just race and don't make collisions (haven't wrecked anyone or DNF anyone) 7) Restarted the game, turned safety car off. Saved it and turned it on again, saved it. 😎8.) Xbox One Controller 9) When it happens again and I know it will, I'll screenshot it and upload it.

I cannot hear other people speak, I have checked settings, no one is muted it just won't work. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

Hi, I play on Xbox with a steering wheel + pedals (G920) , I have a problem in the menus, I can change tab with the paddles but for the submenus I can go to the right with the accelerator pedal but I cannot go back to left with the brake pedal, basically impossible to return to the previous menu? Do you have a solution ? Thanks in advance.

Hello Barry I hope you're okay ?I come back to you because I have a problem with F1 2020 my steering wheel settings all work correctly except the "button 2" which is the one to "accept" it works everywhere where I have to say ok, except to enter the settings of cars, I have to use the F3 key on my keyboard .. for all the other functions I have no problem ... it's really the only one or I have to use the keyboard, do you have a solution? Sorry for starting a new thread but I'm lost as to what to do next. I recently bought the game a couple days ago, and have got the error since purchase. I've never had any issue with online connection on my PS4 before, including F1 2019 I have read loads of threads on the topic, reconfigured my router, including port forwarding and DMZ. I have experience with networking and IT so I'm not concerned its been done incorrectly. I have ethernet connection to the PS4, testing at NAT Type 2, unable to get it NAT type 1 but this shouldn't matter as I've done all the port forwarding? I'm honestly about to go return the game because not having online features including in my team mode is missing out on a huge element of the game. Please someone give me some more ideas this is becoming ridiculous for something that should be so simple. Thanks

So.. I made a bad mistake I think.. I installed a extreme damage mod for Single player and some mods to mess around in career mode. I never knew if I went online they would also work, so now I got kicked and got this error.. Anyone please help.

Hi, I am currently playing Career Mode Season 2 for Alpha Tauri. 25% race at 103 AI For whatever reason when I try to over fuel the car as usual the car starts to burn fuel WAY too quickly. Burns to the point that even putting the car in lean and lifting and coasting is barely saving me fuel. I over fueled the car on purpose +3 laps running in standard I am on lap 10 of 14 on Bahrain and the car is at .34 left. Can someone please tell me why this is happening. Best. AA

Ciao, mi scuso subito ma sono veramente nuovo. Ho installato F1 2020 su PC ed ho collegato un volante T80 che con il controller del PC risulta perfettamente settato. Con il gioco f1 2020 però con il volante dritto le ruote restano sempre sterzate a sinistra come se il volante fosse sterzato per il 50% Qualcuno sa come risolvere questa difficoltà? Grazie

A detailed description of the issue I've been trying for numerous days over a couple of weeks and I'm unable to get into ranked lobbies, both 5 lap and 25% race distance options. This also happened to me in F1 2019, and I've seen similar posts about the problem in F1 2020 without a resolution. I search for around 2 minutes and then get put into a lobby by myself. The network status bars flash white. I stay in that lobby for up to 20 minutes and no one else joins. Eventually I get error code HO503 saying I must be logged in to Xbox Live. I guess due to inactivity the game disconnects. I've tried searching when there are up to 50 others online and still I'm able to find a lobby. I'm able to play unranked races with no issues, and even the weekly events. I do notice that some other players in unranked lobbies also have white flashing network status bars. I don't have any other issues playing multiplayer in other games. My NAT type is open and the network/multiplayer tests via the Xbox console all come back perfect. My home network is working flawlessly. Bonjour Je voulais jouer a F1 2020 en écran partagé avec un ami , on arrivait au début des qualifications , et , au moment de commencer a jouer , l'écran devient noir et le jeu crash , DONC IMPOSSIBLE DE COMPLETER LES DEFIS QUOTIDIENS !!! I’ve been getting flickering on my side mirrors whenever I’m either in the pit lane, or the actual track but beside the pit lane. My rear tires and other cars in view of the mirrors flicker on and off. Meaning their reflection. I race in cockpit view. Not sure if it occurs in other views as well.
