Game is unplayable for me. I have no problems with other games, including Dirt Rally 1. Almost all times the game just closes and drops me back to the desktop without any messages after it finishes loading the track. I managed to get past it once with Windowed mode and then switched back to Fullscreen from the "garage" section before the race. After that it worked a couple of times, but now it does't work again. I tried Windowed borderless and Windowed modes and I got the camera flying above the track for 2 or 3 seconds and then dirtrally2.exe stopped working. Memory usage is very low, it was 2GB for the game and I had 4 GB of free memory. Very annoying, cant play the game. I have a fully updated Windows 10 version 1809 and the latest 19.2.3 AMD drivers with a Gigabyte RX460 4GB VGA. I'm on the Medium Graphics settings preset and have 8GB of DDR4 RAM with an Intel G4560 processor. A couple of times I got the Dirt Rally 2.0 bug report window after this and sent the crash report. Hoping for a fix soon 🙂

Colin McRae DiRT (2007) Causing Unexpected System Crashes
DekoWolf posted a topic in DiRT Rally 2.0 Support
Hey DiRT fans! I've come to the forums not so much seeking assistance, but more so to share and discuss this odd problem that I have encountered exclusively with this game. I understand this is an old game by now, so I don't exactly expect any official support from Codemasters, or any quick 'fix' for it. I simply want to understand it better. The problem: My copy of Colin McRae DiRT (platinum version released in 2010) is causing my PlayStation 3 (2009 SLIM model) to crash immediately upon booting it. Diagnoses: Both the disc and console appear to be in good condition, and no other game in my collection is causing this - hence why I find it so odd. At first, I thought some of the game data might be corrupt, however, the game is entirely disc based, and it doesn't require any installation into the PS3's HDD - also deleted my save file, but no joy. I tried booting the game whilst the console is disconnected from the internet, and even set the date manually just in case this was some sort of DRM bug. Both the console and game are the latest available version, and I have never 'tinkered' with either of them. Acquiring another copy of the game is no problem, so this is not really a loss for me. I'm simply curious as to what is causing it to crash, and why is this the only game that I own doing it - could it be disc degradation? Let me know what are your thoughts on this. -
F1 2018 crashes to desktop frequently. Sometimes every half hour, sometimes it will play for a few hours. The game will freeze for about 1 second before crashing to desktop. There are no symptoms prior to this. I have tried various combinations of graphics and sound settings. I have tried verifying the game files. I have updated drivers. I have tried moving the game to the c drive. I have reinstalled windows 10 pro. Nothing has solved it. I would be happy to try any other suggestions. The crash dump attached contains a file info.txt including the lines: "ReportCode": "THCE-XKHS-SPGX-DBMG", "Exception": "C0000005 EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 000000004419FE61", Exception access violation apparently referring to memory access. I have run memtest86 for hours, completed several passes and found no problems. I have logged various parameters while playing and I cant find any indication of a problem. The GPU RAM does not fill up, GPU load is not abnormal before the crash, neither is CPU load. Temperatures and voltages are normal. Any help would be appreciated.
