    GRID Modding

The ERP Archiver compatible with GRID 2019 has just been released at https://ryder25.itch.io/ego-erp-archiver/download/eyJleHBpcmVzIjoxNTcwOTEzMTk5LCJpZCI6ODM0MTR9.K%2bLak%2fIYkoFMZJFqv28uS7BFyT4%3d It allows to extract files from GRID's .erp files.
  2. If devs can't make better damage, could mod community make one? Something similar to Grid Autosport Great damage model, spectacular crashes, rolling cars was the main essence of this franchise. I can't stand that this is ruined in this game. I don't care about multiplayer - it's dead anyway. Someone let me know, please...
  3. It's that time of year for myself! The F1 Season Mods are my annual content that brings new life to the Codemasters F1 games. Here is the 2019 SM, check it out to get a feel of what a Season Mod is: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/krisdixs-2019-season-mod.25099/ In recent light due to Codies neglecting to release the language file for this years game, There will be a few thing's differen't to the last few Season Mods. F1 2018 will be the game that will be brought back to life leaving F1 2019 in the dust. I'm interested to hear your guys opinion on if it should be on F1 2019 or F1 2018!! In the video I discuss the pro's and con's of the situation. I wanna hear what you think! Kris.
  4. Please Codemasters, at least bring back your mod-friendly policy as we've seen in case of Dirt 4! I mean under car folders Dirt 4 was able to read new customs liveries... For example if someone made a new custom livery for Subaru 555 then we just have to make a sub-folder called 555 and only needed to put modified .pssg files there and Dirt 4 used them instead of the content of 555.nefs Now it is not working, we have to build custom .nefs files which is not comatible with your multiplayer policy... They Already Did. Wanna be a Legend? Give us (modders) a formula, to add customs liveries with the proper resolution, file format of the preview images and file structures. Then your code should read the content of sub-folders under cars folder and integrate new liveries into your game database and let people to collect them and they should be able to select from in-game menu! Even you should name them by a different logic liveryC_01, liveryC_02 etc. instead of livery_01,livery_02 to avoid conflicts and you should be able to NOT let them use online, easily. Please Codemasters give us the chance to use thousands of pretty nice custom liveries by an easier way.
