I wanted to start a discussion around Drit Rally 2.0 Career Mode Events. I noticed that this time around we do not have an opportunity to make our own custom career mode championships as we did in Dirt Rally. I think that this feature is something that needs to make it's way back. Just like in Dirt Rally, instead of sliders, we should opt to use general participant types to define custom career championships (ex. open, clubman, semipro, pro). The beauty of this mode is in the dictation of how much time we would like to take to complete a series of events to win rewards instead of being forced into doing a series of 6 events with 6 stages each. This would allow guys who have kids and families more flexibility in playtime without having to sacrifice an arm and a leg to complete this races to get to a reward in the end. I loved the Dirt Rally system because I could set my own comfort level for entry into a championships. I also liked that given the customization, the game still would pick which location you would race next. This kept you on the edge of never knowing which championship you will be entering next. If you guys have anything you would like to add or propose to make the game better, please feel free to add more comments and ideas to expand the general topic.
Graphics: I have an original Xbox One. And for some reason DiRT 2.0 doesn’t look very good on it? It seems as if the quality has gone down from previous titles such as DiRT 4 and DiRT Rally. The car seems to be less precise and has less detail such as the lights, sponsors, and interior seem to all be slightly pixelated. The actual stage itself seems to lack detail too compared to recent titles. Even on the original Xbox One. Wheel FFB: I am really disappointed with the lack of adjustability for wheel settings on Xbox One for my wheel. I have a Logitech G920. For a start i calibrated my wheel to find out that i can only use 540 degrees of rotation! A classic car definitely has more and other games such as previously DiRT titles have a full range of angles. The actual FFB settings themselves are not very good. There’s no surface detail at all. It feels like the car is floating across the ground. With the lack of tyre slip adjustment, wheel friction and more this is making my DiRT 2.0 experience quite bad as well as other people.
Hello DR community. My feedback: - No more internet connection requiered for singleplayer - Earning credits in every race in every mode (time trial and own championships) - Player global stats in main menu (like DR) - Steam avatars / crown in leaderboards on daily / weekly - Add monthly challenge Greetings.
