2WHEELSTIG posted a topic in Technical AssistanceFirst, my setup is RTX 2070 SUPER (MSI VENTUS OC) Intel i9 9900K 16Gig Memory I saw that there were "known issues" with DX12 crashing when using MSI Afterburner and switching from windowed to fullscreen. I uninstalled MSI Afterburner, removed any trace of the nvidia drivers and reinstalled from new without MSI Afterburner, no luck. Just to check, I reinstalled a older driver 436.48 and the game worked beautifully again (still no MSI afterburner)... Now we are 4 different driver versions since the issue started and, the attached photo is what I see when I try to play in DX12 in Windowed borderless or fullscreen. At my wits end on this issue. This is the only game I have an issue with... Anthem runs fine, Destiny 2 runs fine, Modern Warfare runs fine but, the game I want to play the most doesn't 😞 I also tried loading the game in DX11 (looks horrible BTW), closed the game, then opened it in DX12 and I get the same issue per the known issue thread (which doesn't appear to have been updated since June). Any game ready driver I've installed since 436.48 gives me the same issue, I opened a "ticket" with nVidia but, haven't gotten anything back from them. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Any thoughts? I cannot post a crash log as, the game doesn't actually crash... It plays sound and I can "see something" going on in game but, only at like the top 1/4 of the screen.
Dear Codemasters, are you NUTS?! Millions of gamers still using Win7 as stable (not such as UNIX-based OS, but...) platform and DX12 not giving such pretty image and other improvements, if comparing with DX11. In fact, in march 2019, Microsoft announced that they will finally ports DirectX 12 to Windows 7. They already posted some materials on GitHub that could help developers. And how about Vulkan? P.S. I have one more thing to say: Codemasters, get ready for Review-BOMBING... Personally, I will not leave any feedback. P.P.S Sorry for my bad English.
