Well it is nice to have the multiplayer experience available, might I suggest separate ranks by game type. One rank for five lap race is one rank for 25% races. Similar to this, when somebody’s rank goes up the graphical user experience could be more aligned to watch some other multiplayer titles do where it’s kind of like a big deal to rank up. Gives people some trigger to invest more time into multiplayer.

I was curious if anyone could provide an insight into how the ranked system works? I have been placed in Silver 3 and completed a total of 30-40 races qualifying P1 with over a 1s gap and winning the race with a 10s+ gap to P2. I am wondering is there a certain number of races to complete before I can go up?

I dont know why but this happens to me after every ranked race. when the race is finished it goes to something like a Temple screen with 2 same option (i think is said To Do ) and when i Click on it , game closes itself . but Fortunately the race count .

In ranked, I placed at silver 1 and B safety rating. It only took a few races to reach A safety rating, then another few races for S safety rating. The problem is that i cannot find any lobbies with S safety rating. Why is it that i get punished for racing clean, and everyone else can enjoy ranked racing in near full lobbies at A or B safety rating. It appears i have 2 options, wait for more people to increase their safety rating (which will take a week or two) or decrease my safety rating by crashing and ramming others. Its kinda disgraceful to ram others but i can only blame codemasters for this terrible design. Reward rammers, punish clean racers. If anyone has a better idea or know something i would appreciate it 🙂

Are penalties so bad because of the limits if programming? Being forced to go wide to avoid contact results in a penalty. Making contact to avoid going wide results in a penalty. Getting rear-ended results in a penalty and so on and so on. It really kills the fun.
