  1. Is that too hard to make realistic engine sounds like Rfactor does for a such long time??? What's the point of improve graphics, controls, modes, (specially now, with the glorious F1 classic cars and modes) and the sound engine is nothing compare to what Rfactor does? With all technology we have today, and people mad-angry with the current engine sounds, wishing F1 bring us back the loud and SCREAMMING LIKE HELL engines of the Golden Times.   2. There seems to be a lot of audio clipping happening in this game. Volume levels seem un-balanced and you only have one slider for effects?? Can we not have individual volume sliders, road noise, engine, environment, ect And I have only just realised, there are 3 different people talking to you over the headset, but for some reason you have your team mate and the female voice moving all through the sound field, left channel, right channel, far away then close up??? this is all drowned out by the engine noise and road noise, I had to turn effects volume down to 5 to actually hear them. These voices should be mono, in either the left or right ear, coming from a fixed point. I thought I was hearing ghost voices for a long time lol, till I turned the effects volume down. Needs fixing. right now the noise from inside the car drowns out the engine and road noise. Audio clipping happening each time the commentator speaks, high revs, crashes, it would be nice to balance the whole audio to our liking, Atmos is great, but the levels are all wrong
  3. Hey guys. I recently purchased F1 2018 because of the sale. My problem is that not all sounds are being played. (for example: i have no commentary sound ) i play on pc (win10) and reinstalled the game twice. i hope someone can help me edit: A short description of the problem: sounds are missing (for example: no commentary, some lines at teamradio) Platform you’re on (PS4, Xbox One, PC, Steam): steam Game Version (Shown on the Start screen in the bottom left hand corner): 1.16 Game Mode, including if it was Single Player or Multiplayer (Time Trial, Career, Grand Prix, Custom Game etc): career If in Multiplayer, how many players and how many AI?: - What happened in the lead up to the problem?: i started the game (not sure what you want here '^^) If you get an error message, the exact wording of the error message you're receiving: - Any accessories you are using (wheel, pad, etc): xbox-gamepad If you have any videos or screenshots, please share them.   4. I have had this problem multiple times now and so has my friend with whom I'm playing on the PS4. We have our own league, set on private and full qualifying. We experience no problem in Q1, but in Q2 I suddenly hear nothing but some bird sounds. This makes it impossible to get to a competitive lap time. We have seen this problem now 4 times in 9 races, in two different leagues. Anybody else have experienced this really annoying bug?
  5. ENGLISH/INGLÉS I have the game since the day of release and both the DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 versions do not work. Like the comments. In the beginning of the races I do not hear what the commentators say, even if the subtitles are there, and during the race the engineer speaks to me and he is not heard either. I have a PC with Windows 10 updated. I have already tried several times to check the Steam files of the game and it says everything is Ok. The sound system I have are a Logitech G533 Gaming Headset. En el comienzo de las carreras no oigo lo que dicen los comentaristas aunque si están los subtitulos, y durante la carrera el ingeniero me habla y tampoco se le oye. Tengo un pc con Windows 10 actualizado. He probado ya varias veces a comprobar los archivos de Steam del juego y pone que está todo Ok. El sistema de sonido que tengo son unos cascos Logitech G533 Gaming Headset. Gracias por la ayuda.

    Sound Options

    Dear Codies, In f1 2016 we had the option to turn down certain parts of the sound (AI cars, crowd etc). This was removed in 17. Now that Lando Norris has confirmed that all you hear irl is your own engine and sometimes the wind effect, is it possible we could bring in audio options again? I know there's a lot of things that would take precedence over this but it would definitely be a huge plus for realism lovers like myself. Thanks for a great game and keep up the good work!

    F1 2019 - Replay sounds

    Hi, Has anyone read anything about improvements to the sounds of the cars externally, particularly in replays? I've always found this to be weakest sound work in the game. It just seems like the internal sound but with a bit of echo applied, it's also ridiculously quiet. Comparing the V10 and V8 replay sounds between F1 2018 and Assetto Corsa is like comparing sounds in games 10 years apart. F1 is just so quiet and unimpressive and nothing like being at a track when those engines roared past.
