CAT A - The Peugeot is better cuz it's licensed. Codies should try to license a Chevy and put it there, instead of that fake car.

Yeah this question should be asked and answered because of being important topic... Yesterday and today I spent lots of time by racing bumper to bumper in touring cars. As money earned I spent some money on cars that I have driven before by loaning.

Tier 1 (Cat C): I purchased Honda Civic because of being WTCC and BTCC watcher, like that NGTC cars... But everyone uses old generation BMW 320, generally by loaning. It should be little bit faster than Civic. You should consider to compare them.

Tier 2 (Super Utes): Holden, because of being more easy to control... Such a great vehicle to race.

Tier 3 (Super Tourers): My favourite discipline and from these type, I prefered C63 AMG but didn't bought one yet.

Tier 3 (Classic Touring Car Cup): Ford Sierra I purchased... Little bit drifty car. But have better handling and braking sense than Skyline R32. That Skyline goes like a wooden stick for me.

Tier 3 (Super Tourers): Hard cars to control but again I purchased Holden!

Touring - Cat C - BMW 320i Touring Car
Touring - Cat B - Mercedes...
Touring - Classic Cup - Ford Sierra
Tuner - JDM - Honda S2000
Tuner - Super Modified - Honda Civic
Street - Hot Hatch - NOT the Golf R. The Ford Focus ST is BETTER!
Street - Performance - Mercedes C63 AMG

Tip: 4WD are generally shit cars in GRID Autosport!!! Dont buy these cars. They are slow, understeering, and have no power at all.

Everyone I know uses the Chevrolet Cruze in Cat C. I think for that it's a toss-up between the BMW and the Cruze.

I perform way better with the Agera and Veyron. Zonda is far slower in my opinion.

Zonda is so easy to get round the corners though; it might depend on the track as to whether the faster cars outperform it.

The Agera looks too much of a handful to be worth it, especially if you hit the wall like is common in street events. I'm disappointed that the P1 is both slow -and- terrible around corners; it slides everywhere. Oh well.

Seems the P1 gets the raw end of the stick everywhere. Even in the NFS movie it got wrecked for no damn reason, not to mention it's only competition should have been the Sesto Elemento...

Ah well I digress, but in the Super Modified it's definitely track dependent. On uneven/rough tracks or tracks where cars get a lot of air the Subaru is easily the fastest. On flatter smoother tracks which don't destabilise the car continually the Panspeed RX-7 whoops the ass of the Subaru.

I'm going to disagree with the C1 Evo being best the S13 is much more capable out of the box. It has a better, more usable power band and better shifting points with the 4 gear transmission.

Isn't it usually whatever car Ravenwest is driving?
Using Ravenwest as a guide helps but it is not always the case. I don't believe the Mini Cooper S JCW GP and Aston Martin Vanquish are the fastest in their class.
