Interesting stuff. The thing is though that modern cars are much bigger than their counterparts of yesteryear. Hence the current Fiesta is wider and the same length as a Mk2 Escort and quite a bit heavier. So some of those cars like the Giulia and Mustang would seem pretty big for rallying (quite a bit bigger than a Sierra for example). Having said that watching Tony Pond hurl that Rover SD1 around was pretty awesome so maybe... ;)
