Team Meeting 13/01/2016 - Patches, Testing and More!

Recommended Posts

Why can't MS QA test the actual game as thoroughly as they do the patches? Presumably because it'd never be released if they did... This is a recurring theme year-on-year with these games, with the next step coming in late February when CM quietly announce that the patch was re-submitted, another bug found, and now they're moving on to 2016 and there will be no patch.

There is a patch, and it is coming.

I'll make that Morrisons store disappear...

Now, now... leave the food alone and everyone will be happy.

learned my lesson for sure, don't preorder f1 2016 or buy it immediately, WAIT for at least 3-4 months for them to fix it, hopefully will be a better game by then & of course will be on sale too ;-)

As a league admin and administrator of www.PlaystationGL.com I would be more than happy to participate and help in any way possible give feedback and anything you may need or require which would give us the public the optimum gaming experience for online racing.

Please do not ignore us our feedback is invaluable, annoyingly I fear we are always ignored, some of us do not use offline racing we mainly use online racing and this events which you speak of is not what we are using.

We are gaming and racing enthusiasts who have our own little communities and we rely on you to keep that and you rely on us to purchase your games, we cannot go out and purchase cars to race in, we rely on you to produce games which can be produce fantastic experiences in racing online with like minded enthusiasts.

Some comments in the article are out of touch, interact with us the consumer, what harm can it do?

Rather disappointed the testing has been delayed so we have a better game to test. In my opinion it would be more beneficial if you had testing at the end of this month AND March. People are coming to TEST the game, so it doesn't matter what stage it's at, they are helping you develop it.

You'd understand my hesitance had you been here since 2010 and seen how often this pattern has played out. If it's really coming then fantastic, but until I hear something more concrete than 'It's with MS for testing' I can't exactly see much reason to expect this year to be any different just to be disappointed all over again.

...beside the release you moreover have to be patient, what will be fixed and whether it is working...

Well I've held off for a longtime,u take our money and let us down again and again and again! At the end of a day I'm a gamer who can't play a franchise I love, fed up of having a Carrott dangled infront of me,how can we get excited about any exciting news u may or may not tell us,I'm sure it will get delayed aswell! Maybe my use of language was inappropriate but it just proves you lot just avoid the truth, why not answer to me venting about the lack of info or the fact I've ditched your game for a competitor??
Quite frankly it's disgusting
RIP another great xbox F1 league. No reason to play this piece of steaming turd anymore. Congrats Codemasters on an omnishambles of a game. Hopefully I'm not stupid enough to believe you again next year, good luck polishing the turd as it were.

Don't worry Jenny, you're doing a great job keeping all the animals in this zoo at bay!

I m grateful for F1 2015 and I'l happily buy F1 2016 as soon as it comes out (and post a pic like I did last July)!
Couldn't stand a year without being able to play the official F1 season. Codies you've been a blessing since you bought the license in 2009. I went through serious withdrawal symptoms when 2007 and 2008 did not receive official games!
Can't wait for new informations! Keep up the good work and don't listen to crying kids/unemployed blokes too much k;)?
Cheers!

What a crap, sorry. That can only comes from a Occasion guy, who play F1 in Single player four times on a month. That is the same way as you lump people together in your postings.

You call people, who are racing for many years with F1 videogames "crying kids" and unemployed blokes? Seriously, do you ever watched a video from a Youtuber of the F1 Community? Everyone from that have the same opinion as we have it and we know about what we talk. If we would not be here, the game would'nt exist anymore.

It's unaccaptable what Codemasters doing for the last two years. F1 2012 and 2013 were absolutly great games, we had so much fun with that two games on the league. F1 2014 graphic and physics were crap, but at least it was able to playing online without problems.

F1 2015 has a brilliant broadcast and presentation, good physics but the rest, especially online is crap! And CM knows exactly that the most players of their game are online leagues.

By the way: All the complaints and embrassing comments are not going to jenny, they are going to Codemasters who arent able to make a THIRD patch, on a game whitch they promoted with "weekly in season update".  Jenny doing a good job since the first day, more than any other of the scapegoats from CM. But Codemasters work is unaccaptable and its definitetly not 70€  value.

And yes, im a league racer and a huge fan of  F1 games, but i would stay one yeat without a game, if we get a good game, with good online mode, better support from the developers, patches and more.

I reply to you lot on here ;)... but no, I don't work on the game. I wouldn't know how to do all that stuff if it was life or death, and have loads of admiration for people that do.

As I said earlier, the Xbox One patch is coming. I understand some of your scepticism, but it's coming.

And testing, it certainly is about getting you guys to help. The reason it was decided to move it back a little was just to make sure both you and us get the best out of a build - game mechanics etc. It's still only moving back a little, and everything is still going ahead as we planned to! :)

I don't think anyone has a problem with Jenny to be honest. She doesn't work on the actual game.
You got me wrong. I was saying that she's doing a great job and showing a lot of professionalism compared to the other community managers who simply stopped posting.
And I know she's not actively working on the game, in fact i said thank You to Codies for that if you noticed:).

To the other guy, I stopped  reading when you brought up the  word *ugh* Youtuber. I'm probably too old for that, so probably I'm totally out of the loop and missing out here. Though thanks but no thanks.

Cheers mate. I'm going to enjoy my F1 fix each and every year, so thank you codies.

I'm sure there were some comments like we have some exciting things lined up and surprises here's a tip codies scrap all of that for the love of god fix the fundamentals of the game that have not been addressed since the wheel was invented the amount of feedback they get from the community you would think they would take it all in but it just falls on deaf ears no wonder we are all cheesed off with the franchise oh and note to a previous post I work hard for a living and when I throw 40 odd quid of my hard earned money I expect a game that works

Hey guys,

I have been reading those hateful comments since the release of F12015... my opinion, yes the game is, let's be honest, not be best one that Codemasters have ever released. However, I do not think that any of you has the know how on how to develop a brand new game from scratch, codies have developed F1 2015 on brand new engine, which means completely new physics, graphics, track updates, car updates... times 3. If you consider that it was just 8-9 months between the release of F1 2014 and 2015, they have done a good job in developing the game as it is. Give them a break, they have done a great job with Dirt and I think F1 2016 will continue with that and deliver a great game.
