Would be weird to play using my school friend. People go on about women playing football and being sexist, but she ran rings around everyone and even men 4 years older than her. I'm really happy they are adding them, would be nice to add club teams in the future so you could do career mode.

Karen Carney I think her name is kind of looked like a female David Beckham she was a very good free kick taker and a pretty decent crosser of the ball as well out on the wing. It's good to see women being included in games. I often create female players on my tennis and golf gasme4s as well so I can play on both the mens and womens tours. Apparently this years World Snooker championship nearly had a woman playing in it but she lost in the final round of qualifying so it goes to show women can be just as capable as men are if given the chance. Hughesy 251 Posted May 29, 2015 Just had to choose between Triss and Yennefer in The Witcher 3, hardest gaming decision ever lol. You can have both but they screw you over later. Drank lots of beer and then chose Triss even though that goes against the books.
RevolvingPrawn 1 Posted May 30, 2015 @Hughesy Jesus dude, spoilers! Lol. Drinking lots of beer isn't a good excuse for telling others something from the story ;)

I prefer surprises :p
Hughesy 251 Posted May 30, 2015 Well that's not my fault. It's been in many articles and all the games and books have this story. Throughout the series he's had them both so to speak, in the first 5 minutes of the second game he's with one of them. Even at the start of the 3rd game it's made clear he'll have to choose, not my fault you didn't pay attention :p

He only has to choose a few different options and/or quests and his story will be different anyway. One part comes early ish in the game, so he might've made certain decisions already but hasn't paid attention ;)

Like for example in ME1 where you have to save either Ashley or Kaaiden and leave the other to die in the bomb blast. There's another similar decision in DAI whjere you have to choose between the Warden and Hawke to die in the Fade while you escape in both cases so far I chose Stroud to die as I didn't have Alistair/Loghain as the warden which is possible I chose to keep my Hawke alive.Just completed the Landsmeet and declared Alistair as king. Now to dispose of the Archdemon
Hughesy 251 Posted May 30, 2015 Somewhat surprises me that the Witcher 3 is only 24GB, when the first game which is old is 16GB. Some good compression going on as The Witcher 3 is a much bigger game. It's only 2GB bigger than W2. The reason I'm going on about this is because I decided to reinstall the first game as I never finished it. It wasn't until the second game where I really got into it and started reading the books.

Includes all the DLC's for 1 and 2 as well. If it plays as good as ME or more importantly Dragon Age (which looks likely) then I would say for me it'll turn out to be money well spent. MBKF1 91 Posted May 30, 2015 I went on F1 2014 last night, for the first time in a few months I must admit, but man, I had a fantastic race at Monaco!I decided to see how I would get on as a proper driver, so I turned off the entire HUD, expert AI, and turned off all assists and stuck to cockpit camera only.It was so much better than if I had all the data there! It's nice to just focus completely on the road, without looking at the track map, or looking at lap times and positions. I also didn't know how my tyre and fuel usage was, only when my engineer said. The race itself, it was 25% (20 laps) around Monaco and I went in the Mercedes. I got a good start and took the lead, and built up about 6 seconds of a gap by lap 4, when I hit the wall and lost some of my front wing. I could tell I was going slower so I decided to pit at the end of lap 6, two laps before I planned.I came out in traffic, and when the others pitted, I came out side by side with Magnussen for the lead, but just managed to get ahead into Casino Square.I then built up a 4 second lead and I could feel the tyres going off, so the last three or four laps I was constantly defending, and there was about a train of seven cars behind me. I managed to hold on to 1st and took the win, and the top seven were separated by less than 5 seconds!Anyway, a cool race!

Hughesy 251 Posted June 1, 2015 I still can't get my head around this. My edited ini for Witcher 3 which makes the graphics a lot better gives me higher fps than the stock one. They must've added something into the 1.4 patch ini but I don't know what, as it still looks a a lot worse than mine. I'm not complaining but I still want to know why, as its over 10fps faster using mine. Might open mine and the 1.4 stock version and go through every line looking for added stuff or tweaks to stuff I haven't changed. On a separate note, the new driver which improves performance for Kelper GPUs (so people were talking bull when they said Nvidia cripples it old cards) has improved performance in Witcher 3 using Maxwell GPU. Not by much but every little helps as Tesco say lol.Edit: so it seems to be the new texture setting in the ini so people say. It adds negative mipmap textures, but I'm not sure how much that would effect performance. I did change mine to what it is, but then found out clamp in driver settings disables that, so I'll see what it's like changing that.

RevolvingPrawn 1 Posted June 2, 2015 About damn time! (To Fallout 4, and what I'm about to write ;))Steam has introduced a proper refund system. You can now get a refund on a game if you've had it for less than 14 days and have less than 2 hours play time. But Steam will still consider refunding even if you have more than 2 hours on a game :)http://www.pcgamer.com/new-steam-refund-policy-lets-you-get-your-thatmoney-back-for-any-reason/
Hughesy 251 Posted June 2, 2015 Who would've thought it would take EA to change the way Valve offer refunds..... All the hate EA get, but they have a good refund policy on Origin.
