At the moment I'm playing the campaign, it's a bit wierd as once you reach a certain objective the game ends and then you start on a new island. But after doing the second mission you then go back to the first island, so it's good to plan ahead when doing the first mission as you don't start from scratch, you carry on from where the first mission ended.Hope that's clear lol, couldn't think of a better way to explain it. I didn't know this until recently as I've mainly been doing sandbox, but I'm enjoying the campaign. I preferred the way Tropico 4 campaign worked, but now I've put some time into it I'm enjoying it. Platy 6 Posted June 11, 2015 @Hughesy specs on the website say the G29 works on PC. Don't see why it wouldnt work as its USB, but the blog makes it seem like it doesn't which is slightly confusing.

Ah, well I hope it does, the only thing that would stop them is if they have a deal with Sony. I'm sure it'll become clear soon though.
FloatingGrass 0 Posted June 11, 2015 Huge shame that the G29's shifter doesn't have sequential... The sequential/H shifter toggle option is a huge deal breaker for me. In fact, I'm getting a G25 this week just for that.

You've explained it spot on haha, played the campaign last night and managed to gain independence! But then it took me to a new island and i thought it was unusual... Good to know you go back though :#
Hughesy 254 Posted June 12, 2015 Just preordered Batman Arkham Knight for £20, on PC, from Greenmangaming B) I'm hoping Fallout 4 comes closer to that price, as I refuse to pay £50 for a PC game.Edit: Checks Steam summer sale, nothing of interest... :|
jordieDAFC 0 Posted June 12, 2015 Might have to look at getting the G29 if it works on PS4 and PC, hopefully the pricing isn't stupidly high
Platy 6 Posted June 12, 2015 It works on both and its priced at £300. I'll probably end up pulling the trigger though.
Hughesy 254 Posted June 12, 2015 Bit pricey considering it's using helical gears, don't think I could use a wheel that isn't belt driven.
jordieDAFC 0 Posted June 13, 2015 300 quid....they can ram it Ive got a g27 sitting here, they want me to pay £300 for more or less the same wheel just with different software and some shiny new buttons
sjsharp2010 227 Posted June 13, 2015 Have to say playing a rogue is far trickier than playing a mage in Dragon Age Inquisition but I'm coping so far will be interesting when and if I take on the high dragons though. Will probably wait until I unlock my specialisation though. Still I'm enjoying the different challenges it's providing
Hughesy 254 Posted June 13, 2015 Building a great city on Tropico 5, playing sandbox mode so I can just concentrate on one island. Really planned ahead, with houses all in one area and then plantations not too far away. Got teamsters in good locations so they can transport the goods quicker, so I make money quicker. Might post a picture of it later :D

Hughesy 254 Posted June 14, 2015 Thinking about buying State of Decay Yose day one edition. I had the original and like it, but stop playing it due to having so many games. This new version has only been out a month or two, and is already £6.89. I was going to get it for Xbox One a while back, but now the PC version is a lot cheaper. Platy 6 Posted June 14, 2015 @Hughesy you've got the T500 RS, correct? Does it work on PS4, and is it worth the money?
Hughesy 254 Posted June 14, 2015 Platy said: @Hughesy you've got the T500 RS, correct? Does it work on PS4, and is it worth the money? Yes and yes. It works on PS4, but not in menus before launching a game. Not sure why, but it's not so bad as you only need to launch the game with a controller then use the wheel. Out of all the wheels I've had (DFGT, G27, Fanatec GT2 and Thrustmaster TX) it's miles better. It has static paddles, but I soon got used to them and now love them, plus you can buy addon wheels. The pedals are really nice, and can be inverted like they would be in a road car.So far though I've only used the wheel for one game on PS4, which was Drive Club. It is a really nice wheel though, and is very well made. :)
Platy 6 Posted June 14, 2015 I'll have to consider it then. I want some decent pedals and a clutch pedal. So either the G29 or spend more for the T500 RS.
Hughesy 254 Posted June 14, 2015 Platy said: I'll have to consider it then. I want some decent pedals and a clutch pedal. So either the G29 or spend more for the T500 RS. Yea it's a tough one. We don't really know how good it'll be, personally I think it's just a G27 but made to work on PS4. Why would they spend a lot on R&D when they said wheels didn't make them a profit. The G27 isn't a bad wheel, but felt like a toy compared to the T500rs, the latter being belt driven makes a huge difference to feel and FFB. That's why all high end wheels use belts rather then cogs, and in my mind if the G29 was new they'd use that rather than helical gears still. The G27 was such good value becasue it came with a H shifter, but now you don't even get that. I'm sure it'll be a good wheel, but not £100 better than a G27 (apart from working on PS4)
Liaveil 143 Posted June 14, 2015 Got Elder Scrolls Online for free (so to speak) by trading in PCars and what I had left on my reward card. I was a little worried after watching how bad it looked on the PC when it was first released but it's actually pretty good even with my crappy internet connection. Now have that, Witcher 3, a DAI playthrough on the go and mixing that all up with a dose of Mortal Kombat X as well as waiting to marathon season 5 of Game of Thrones. I'm going to be exhausted of anything medieval or fantasy related after all this...
