Mainly I think it's because I find it easier to use with 1 hand than the PS.

Hughesy
Hmm thinking about buying the Telltale collection on Xbox One as its only £34. Includes both seasons of The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Borderlands and Game Of Thrones. I already have the first series of TWD and The Wolf Among Us on PC. Thing is I prefer to play games using a controller now because of my silly hands, and I don't think they have controller support on PC.

Merry fucking Christmas Not your day I take it. Haven't really started our festivities yet but this year we're having our Christmas Dinner in the evening instead of earlier in the day. We normally have dinner in the evening most days anyway so it's no big deal. Although in the past we've normally had Christmas day dinner earlier in the day. I have opened up all my pressies though. Mostly things I needed rather than what I want really but then if I really want something I buy it myself these days and I've pretty much got what I want already. AMSKRR
I highly recommend anyone who likes either First Person Shooters or WW1 games to buy Verdun 1914-18. Awesome game, every gun is a one hit kill (except pistols and maybe a high capacity MG but not sure on that one as it kills so easily and fires quickly). and the game is all about capturing and defending the various trenches rather than straight up death match (although TDM is available, nobody really plays it). 16 player teams, 4 squads of 4 with different nations on the entente powers (In game it is Britain, France, Canada) each squad has 4 different roles which is cool, each role levels up individually but you do have an overall rank. I think the Central powers is literally just Germany but with a few different squads. It is in BETA/Early Access so bare that in mind, but it is currently 66% off (£5) so I'd say it is worth a shot. sjsharp2010
Just recruited Morrigan. Now to go on the offensive I hopeEdit. I think my new approach to Dragon Age after reading and understanding the powers at my disposal in the strategy guides seems to be working. I haven't played it in a few months but is brilliant now, you can feel every bump in the road and the physics feel amzing now. Hughesy
Wow I didn't realise DAI was such a beautiful game :o Seems to be pretty well optimized, as I'm playing it maxed at 1440p at near 60fps. Maybe it'll go down a bit when I'm fighting, but at the moment it seems to be running well. :) Using the FrostBite engine was a great idea, hope they use it for the next Mass Effect.I honestly think this has some of the best graphics I've seen. The texture quality is amazing, especially the ground textures. Things like pebbles on paths aren't just flat looking mipmaps, and the fact my 780 is able to run it at mostly 60fps is brilliant as I thought it was starting to not be powerful enough at 1440p. Just shows how badly some other games are optimised. The game itself is brilliant, I'm not sure why I waited so long to buy it.The Frostbite enigine has to be one of the best as games that use it always look good, without needing a super computer to run it. Well I have DA2 anyway as I bought it the same time I bought Origins so I may as well play it. I heard it wasn't very good but thought I'd judge it for myself. I've enjoyed games before that haven't been highly thought of after all they said the same thing about ME3's ending although I do think it was a bit of a weak one it made sense within he story. The rest of the game was still very solid though in my opinion. I agree about the Frostbite engine I've liked it ever since I've seen it on Battlefield and yes they plan to use it on ME as well for the next game anyway should work well if they can make it look as good as Battlefield. The Unreal engine they were using was good as I have several games that use it but it's not as good as the Frostbite one so it's definitely a good upgrade. One thing I've been discovering though the maps are much bigger than I thought they'd be it's taking a while to progress but I am making it through slowly. It's definitely a very big open world game as the levels are very big and long. Still a lot of fun though.
