So yesterday's test didn't end that well after a driveshaft seal on the gearbox broke which meant the gearbox was leaking oil and it steadily get worse throughout the day so had to stop earlier than planned.  
However I still managed to get in plenty of mileage in the car, and got quicker throughout the day. I found a few more small issues with the car, but thankfully nothing major reared its ugly head and the driveshaft seal is an easy fix.
The biggest problem I've now got is that I'm absolutely addicted to driving my little 106. I've never had so much fun in my life!

Yeah it sounds quite bad but it's nothing major. I only just about heard it in the car too.

You actually sit in the driver seat and race? Not a i play dirt games so im gonna be a badass driver? How can you afford that, what if you have mechanical issues or wreck the car? Maybe you have money idk your life , but goodluck may  the raceing gods watch over you

It will be pretty strange, but it'll make me feel more comfortable on my first event for sure.

Congrats, buddy.  You showed us you could play DR well, got confidence you will kill it on the stages, good luck!

Side benefit:  you can now keep tabs on the future DiRT titles and make sure they are still simulation :)

First event is on stage diagrams, so no pace notes as its a single venue event. My pace notes will be 1-6 (1 slowest) as that's what I've grown up with playing CMR and DiRT!
