Went for the Stratos since that's the car I enjoy the most and really want to get fast in. Monte which is my worst event coupled with my least comfortable car class was sure to get interesting.

SS1 was decent. Safe but still good pace. But managed to do two small spins which were in no way dangerous, but managed to stop the car sideways and had to reverse out. So maybe 10-15 seconds lost just on that.
SS2 was the same as SS1, decent but timeconsuming spins.
SS3 and 4 went OK, but still managed to make another small spin on each.
SS5 went OK except for me overshooting a hairpin and beaching the car. Had to reset :-/
SS6 was my only good stage, felt like I was in control of the car for once. Messed it up with a small stop that cost me 3-4 seconds though :-/
SS7 was crap. Overshot all the hairpins and managed to spin twice.

Overall a good learning experience for me and the Stratos. Won't give me a podium, but hopefully 6-8th at least so I get some points from Monte.

Oof... Unhealed hand + RWD + Snow/Ice ... Happy to not retire! I did bring in some good times, but just had to lose 20 seconds on SS7 due to silly reasons.

Something like this, but with an added spectator. This was like, the 2nd spin before the silence until SS7.

Hmm... I planned to take the Stratos, too, because I thought nobody else would. Maybe I'm gonna wait a bit longer and take the least favoured car then.

I took the Opel because my hand is still a bit too unhealed after last Wales for controlling anything more difficult.. and also because its the only car i have a proven Finnish setup for. :D

One of my favourite cars so full throttle. Second (at that time) after SS5 but in SS6 there was that cliff and retirement.

Monte Carlo was a nice experience this time. Standing to my word, I chose the Ford Escort, because no one else seems to want it. I never drove it in any kind of league or championship, so I expected some problems while accommodating to it. I didn't have any setups either, so I just went with default, only shortening the gears a tad.

To my surprise, it felt good from the start. Solid handling, quite stable under braking and a bit on the loose side, which isn't so bad for me and Monte Carlo. After realizing I was in a good position after SS2, I maybe held back too much from SS3 to SS6. But I really didn't want any retirements or blown tires this time...

In SS7 I overtook the Lancias of @Dytut and Panic, so that wasn't too bad. A good start to the season for a change.

Now, someone really fast needs to choose the A110...
@superdorfer ? ;-)

Well, that would be very interesting.
Alpine + Finland = biggest possible DIRT nightmare for me. I would say @Porkhammer needs a fresh challenge when constantly winning 9/10 dailies, some spare time tonight? ;)

Managed to squeeze in the final stage tonight and, thankfully, kept up the decent-ish pace. Although, I don't think I had a single, clean stage in this rally but it's all good as I made it to the end (and managed to grab a few points along the way).
Looking forward to the next rally already as I'm having so much fun in the RWDs. :)

Ok guys, since no one else wanted to try the Alpine, I gave it a go. Just for you haha.
Well, how did it go: No chance to compete with @Snaky115 and Dannyboy. But I came in just below under a minute with current P3. I was closest to a stage win on "Route de Turini", by +4secs or so. This is defenitely not my car, altough huge mistakes were limited to SS1 & SS7. Default setup.

This is probably my first and last attempt in this season hehe.

That's damn well done for the Alpine, as the car, when i last tried, was an absolute mess to handle with my un-healed arm - was 20 seconds behind the Kadett on my not good half of Monte.

Sweden + RWD = So much fun! Finally one of those rallies where everything just clicked and every stage (except for a spin on SS1) was consistent and with a decent pace. Pretty sure I didn't blink more than a handful times per stage, either, as I was too busy keeping the car in check and clear of the snow banks.

RWD is always fun! At last a good rally. Only 2 times in the snowbank both ended up with the nose in the right direction so did not take to much time.

Now that was a proper adrenaline rush. Started off with the idea of going slow but steady and don't make any mistakes. And managed to take the lead on SS1. Yikes.
Properly messed it up by being nervous and uncomfortable on fresh snow on SS2, and promply lost the lead I hade over baunau. Kept on going, and managed to keep it decently clean, but some scrapes and a few half spins. Was only 0.6 seconds behind baunau before SS6, which was where my nerves got the best of me and I did some mistakes again, lost 5 seconds. Saved my honour by winning SS7 by a slim 0.2 seconds at least :-)

Thanks for the fight @baunau, was completely spent after the last stage!

Hehe, there's a reason I try to get my rally done as early as possible, way less pressure when I'm not trying to keep up with the rest of you guys.
But seriously, had a look at your stage times and, phew, that was close...

Same here, always try to do them as early as possible. And yeah.. when I realized I managed to keep up with you on SS5 even though I had some moments the pressure really was mounting. And then I managed to go just slightly too fast in a rather wide left 3, touch a snowbank and get spun around. It was quite hard to keep focus and drive on with all those curse words wanting to come out.
