By the way, mighty impressive drive from @Headquake and a strong showing of the Renaults. I expected them to have more problems in Sweden. This doesn't bode well for BMW and Ford in Greece and Finland, where the R5 is at his best...
Impressive, indeed! If only @Dytut can come to grips with his R5, I'd expect him and @Headquake at the top for the next two rallies (if not the rest). Wouldn't be surprised if @Scyy, Marek1 and Kildog are found lurking right behind.
Happy to see that you're doing well also. I believe you've had your fair share of bad luck in the past and it's about time it turned around.

We'll see, in the few practice Greece runs I've either done fairly well or went careening off the cliff from over confidence.

That was an event to forget.  Slow but steady the first two stages, actually got into a good rhythm on stage three and then all hell broke loose on Tsiristra Théa.  Spun out twice and flew off the road after clipping the side of the cliff and had to reset to stage.  Got a good time going on stage 5 but again clipped a rock and spun out down the cliff and had to reset,  The rest of it was uneventful.  I don't expect my times will do well at all against you guys.

Hmm, there goes my chance with Panic's 6m 10s on first stage. Now i know i should just avoid crashing instead since i am totally not fast on Kathodo, whatever the car.

EDIT: Should not have said that, on the 2nd kathodo run i lost a whopping minute... ... :/
EDIT2: Mismanaged my weight and flew into a tree slightly too fast, RIP.

My mission was not to crash, I know about myself and the Greece stages. But mission completed. Lost about 40 seconds per stage and still in second now. Don't think that will last for long.

Greece done! Seems like Kathodo was my Achilles' heel as well, spun out twice during SS1. Had a real good SS2 and 3 where I was just a few seconds behind Panic, but my focus started slipping on SS4 (10 secs behind) so I paid the price on SS5 (Kathodo again, 20 secs behind) and SS6. Won the last stage, although I'm pretty sure Panic had eased off the throttle there.
Sligthly disappointed about the few incidents that occurred, but ultimately it was a pretty good (and most importantly, fun) rally.

I never expected myself to struggle with the Sierra's weight so much, as i am pretty good with the very fat EvoX. Unfortunate to wreck my best gravel event, only Germany remains now.

Basically at this point I'm just hoping I don't get last out of everyone that completes it. I've got a feeling that's where I'm gonna end up though.

After my nice and comfortable Sweden event, i went into Greece feeling good but i probably should have done a shakedown first as i slid wide off the road early in S1 and got reset. S2 went good which got me back up the leaderboard a bit but a dumb spin in S3 lost me another 10 seconds. S4 was fast but in S5 i oversteered a hairpin and clipped one of those spectators on the inside. Reset again. A good S6 and a really fast S7 didn't quite catch me up to Panic but has me in 2nd place for now.

Well I made it through without any major issues. A few bumps and bruises and a number of crappy hairpins but overall a stable run. Not near panic or @Headquake in terms of pace, but the R5 really was a fast as you said in Greece.

Had to split the event over two days, but this time that didn't lead to a loss of concentration. I told myself before I wouldn't been able to challenge for a top position and apparently, that mindset worked quite well. I kept a steady pace, losing between 20 and 30 seconds per stage.

The Sierra felt heavy and big, but I really enjoyed sliding it around the corners. Had only a few less than perfect hairpins, some wide slides and minor bumps. The last stage was pure fun and fast, too. Almost too fast... Middle of the pack right now and that's the best I could do here.

The car became pretty inconsistent and weight throwing was a very bad idea.

That's a severe beating your Sierra had to take. I'll use this as a warning.

By the way, the second picture doesn't load for me.

Thank you, I didn't notice this.

That Sierra definitely needs some rails...

Ouch not good. Finland is about were to take the bumps flying and were to back off to save the car. Wonder how my Sierra looks like at the end

Edited for any future opening, oops. Damn you URL thingy.
I was mostly keeping up with Baunau on my 2nd day, but as said, i was struggling to keep the car on the road often.

Lets just say, that i didn't land two close calls of that^ type. Preparing entry lines on Finland is a big key weakness for me, but even without those 2 crashes the suspension damage was pretty incredible.

That was't too bad. A bit to cautious on SS1, a small accident and a spin on SS2. SS3 and 4 very good (actually won SS4). A good SS5 and 6 and a stupid spin on SS7. It leaves me in second for now. Guess some can do better but well, they first have to drive it!

SS1-3 done. Some big moments, especially in SS3, no big crash, but the car has some serious suspension/radiator/engine damage. I'll have to be careful the next three stages.

SS 4-7 completed. With a lot of sheer luck, I must admit.

Had a crash shortly before the end of SS4. The time loss wasn't too significant, but from then on, the car looked decidedly bent and lacked power. @Janneman60 was closing in after SS6, but i was able to stay in front of him, surely helped by his spin in SS7.

I usually crash more often in Finland, so maybe luck is on my side this season. No DNF's and no punctures so far and a car that I really enjoy to drive. What's not to like?

I did Finland last night. Was in a foul mood after some irritating things had happened and did the league to clear my head and change focus. Which lead me to overdrive that poor R5 like crazy. On the upside, I actually spun out from oversteer quite a few times, which was kind of new ;-)

Had decent pace but very messy stages, spun at least once on every stage except SS4. No big damage spins except for SS5 where I hit a post after some weird suspension behaviour (think it was damaged).

Happy enough to actually keep pace with @baunau after such a messy run :-)

With that win @Headquake goes straight to the top, with @baunau trailing by 8 points. @YoMrWhite / Daryl Willcox lost the lead, but is still in the fight. Time to see if the Renaults can manage to keep up on the German tarmac!

First 3 stages of Germany - alright, very minor and dumb mistakes, including hitting the sign post in the first split hairpin on Oberstein
*curses profusely*

I even had to REVERSE. :(

Did the first three stages, and had to take a break there since the R5 is so frustrating to drive on tarmac.

I'm gonna wait for this till my oculus comes tomorrow in the mail. I'm not expecting to do well at all but at least it should be a blast.
