Sweden is about having high speeds without getting stuck in the snow.

This rally was a bit strange concerning a service only after stage 2, but well that's the same for all of us.

The first stage I a had a little spin but the speed was there, ss2 was good.

On stage 3 I had a crash. Not that heavy but the car landed on its side so I had to do a 8 sec reset. The remaining stages were good.

Let's wait for anyone faster and without mistakes.

That's not me. Speed was actually quite good, nearly as fast as you, but I had a few mistakes of my own, one roll and two spins I think, plus one excursion into the snowbanks. Without these, who knows...

Though it looks like some of us had more problems in Finland as I had, I am not happy with my performance. A spin in ss1, a crash in ss2 and 4 and no confidence in the car so to slow in driving.

Don't know if it is the car or me but one corner I had far to much oversteer so almost a spin, next corner I drift wide with understeer. Some tweaks in setup made no difference. So only thing I could do was going into a corner with not that much speed and see what happens.

I had problems with the first 2 stages in Sweden because I couldn't see much on my Rift s and lost some time. Next stage was ok but stage after that I had gamefreeze. Only thing I could do was close Dirtgame. And same thing happened in Finland stage 6. Don't know why. Never happened before. Maybe has something to do with second monitor I connected 2 weeks ago. But this season I retired a lot because of control problems with the Skoda so I'm not losing podium position,😄

Started too slow in SS1, picked up the pace in SS2/3, but the car had nearly no scratches in service, so I might have been a bit too careful. Tried to switch into attack mode, but a mighty spin/roll/whatever in SS4 quickly ended this. I was lucky to stay on the road (although facing the wrong direction) and avoided any heavy damage or punctures. Kept it clean the rest of the way. All in all not bad, but a little bit off the pace.

Yeah, having club events restricted to a single car would be a great feature, would bring a whole new addition to clubs and would bring a whole new life to fun-but-uncompetitive cars like 240Z, RS200, Escort Cosworth, Camaro, 911 SC RS, Impreza S4 etc. A lot of clubs are doing that sort of thing nominally but since it's not actually enforced it's a suggestion rather than a real restriction. Not a whole lot of options unfortunately unless you are going to kick everyone who doesn't use the one car, which doesn't work so well for several reasons.

We could do an agreement with those who are on the forum to restrict a championship to a single car, or exclude the obvious fastest cars in a class for a championship. Not everyone in the club is going to do that obviously but could consider trying it anyway?

Shouldn't we be voting for next season?

I'll go ahead then and choose the World Rally calendar. Unless @Dytut wants to trade up, so I can exclude Spain for the season. Your call, mate.

Anybody else?

So my choice... then I'll exclude Poland!

Errrr...I waited so long, because there is server maintenance at the moment anyway.
And I am extremely unsure, wich class I should choose.

Most here seem to want R5 again, to do a Fiesta R5 MkII only run, right?
I actually would love to choose Group B 4WD and would hope nobody uses the Delta and 205.
I believe that would be a extremely exciting battle between the other 3 cars.

I also had H3 RWD or Group B RWD in mind, to switch regularly between 4WD and RWD.

Not sure...I mean, how high are the chances we get Group B 4WD in the near future, if I don't choose it now? 😄
But if nobody is interested in my idea, I choose whatever most prefer.

I'd love the restricted GrB 4WD!

Congrats to those at the Top,
I will try to setup the next season as soon as all choices are in and the server is back online on the weekend.
Again I will probably not participate much, as time is tight right now and soon Cyberpunk will need attention.

So far I have seen:
- World Rally for Calendar (based on the 2020 WRC calendar, which never drove to completion ^^ )
- Poland excluded
- Group B 4WD, with Gentleman's-agreement to not pick the Pug or Lancia.

I think you can only pick the safari. Weather is decided by 5th in the standings...

We should not wait for the Belgium's pick, because I'm sure he isn't active in this forum.

You're right. Had a bettet look and saw I was 4th not 5th...

So safari rally is Finland.... 1 service after stage 2 (😜)

Errghff...that's slightly sadistic.
I somehow crash out quite often the last 1-2 weeks in other club championships, I don't know why.
This could be interesting, haven't driven the Group B's in a while outside from the obvious Delta (the reason why I wanted this gentleman's agreement).

That's going to be a wreckfest. We should be posting pictures of our cars after SS7. Could be interesting. And I think about using 2 spares.

If I don't forget it and if I see the end of stage 7, sure 😄

The League is setup and starts on wednesday midnight, good luck everyone.

In case for the future, if I take to long to notice and setup another league, I want to remind you that @baunau and @Dytut are also Admins of the legaue and I've just promoted @UnderclassGDfan to admin as well, as you are a very reliable regular participant. So any of you three can also feel free to setup a new championship for the DRC whenever the opportunity arises.

Well, that was fun. Mostly.

I chose the Metro for the season, because, you know, it's a funny car. Spins in each of the first three stages, but nothing too bad, then I left the road in SS3 and expected instant retirement (would have been in DR1), but was only hit with a 16s penalty. Tried to keep it clean in the second loop which mostly worked, until I smashed a tyre early in SS6. Nevertheless, a fun ride.

I did slightly better with a good pace, but with a few spins. Then halfway ss7 got a flat tyre which means my time is now easy to beat.

I also drive the mini, because, you know, it's a funny car 😀

You literally threw it away in SS7.
I had no chance to beat you here.
Had some trouble getting around some turns and struggled with the car a lot.

Luckily only one picked a Delta. The guy usually doesn't do a complete championship, if I remember correctly.
But maybe someone could message him, if he competes regularly?
But I don't know on what platform he is, probably not xbox 😄

*sigh*

Had a decent setup, but a bit top heavy and somewhat jittery at speed. So couldn't push hard... tried on SS4, rolled on a quick section after a light hit just flipped the car over. Went back to a slower approach for SS5-6, then tried some setup changes for SS7 again... and rolled. Meeeeeeeh.

I'm 4 minutes behind everyone with no spins and no issues at all...😂

An eventful Rally Sweden for me. Surprisingly many green sectors, but three high speed rolls, one or two spins and two resets cost what might have been a podium. There was no lack of trying and the Mini took some heavy beating, but the only puncture occurred after crossing the finish line in SS7. Fun!
