Is it really that much faster without spares? For me it is way too risky and I see no point of going without at least one spare besides last stage which is short.

Probably not, but i am limited to the Escort because i am a dumbass 😄

Had a crack at this rally, slow and steady hanging in 8th, had a lapse of talent (of which is sadly lacking anyhow) clipped a rock, got puncture but of course it wouldn’t let me change, no prompt on screen, this at start of 4th stage, retired! 

Damn this game sometimes, but see you’s next time out

USA went ok I guess...
Well, I'm pretty disappointed to be honest. Pace was good, but I did sooooooo many mistakes!

On SS6 I crashed on the last corner (a "early 2 right" I believe) and spun, got even a puncture, lost 5-6 seconds there.
And after that I pushed hard on SS7 to get 2nd place back, but chrashed on the small jump right before the finish...
I smashed against a sign, to the other side against a tree and came to a full stop.
Had 1 or 2 punctures and lost well over 10 seconds there.
I was a second or two behind Yabby in 3rd sector before that crash, so I believe I wouldn't have made it without the crash anyway.

Pretty sure I could have been much better, but wasn't my day.

Way off pace in Germany, really struggling with H-shift/clutch on tarmac. Didn't help that I had one puncture on SS2 on a place where I've never even thought there was something to hit 😛

Also, I got quite a few hairy moments when the default setup on the Legacy bit me hard. The sway bars are pretty hard, and touching the inside of a corner tends to put the car on two wheels. Ended up on my roof once, managed to keep on the road the other times but smashed my engine on SS4.

That was an exciting rally. Managed to keep up with @SkyRex and @Janneman60 all the way through to stage 6 and we were swapping positions every stage. I even had a proper jump-scare on stage 6 where a deer decided to jump out of the bushes right before a fast R4/L5 combo.

Was too eager on stage 7 and ended up with a left-rear puncture halfway through the stage. Pushed on to the finish, but spun three times on my way there. Slightly disappointed.

I crashed in SS2, but somehow didn't got a puncture.
It was really a typical crash were I usually get a puncture, but thought I am lucky.
Only lost a few seconds.

But then I "crashed" early on SS3: came way too fast into a 4 right and then onto the gras and slided way off the track.
Got 40 seconds time penalty.

After this I just finished the rally without motivation and several mistakes including a spin in SS4.
In SS6 I somehow got huge problems with the tyres, slided often more than expected causing some mistakes.
SS7 was ok, came onto the gras once and lost 2-3 seconds.

I somehow can't get a good rally in that location, always fail at some point.
Meh.

Finally, my first event that wasn't catastrophic with H-shifter!

Was too slow on the pedals in one place and went off and had to reset, but otherwise it felt decent. Still won't be fast, but it's going to be interesting for me to compare with the times of you fast guys 🙂

Was leading until late in SS5, were I crashed and got a rear left puncture.

All @baunau's fault, because he forced me to push hard wich resulted in a crash against a tree coming into the wooden area in late sector 6 I believe.
Was leading by 2-3 seconds by then, but I lost quite much time in the first run on that stage in that area, so I wanted to push a bit more.

Everytime I try to push more, I crash. Maybe I should focus on finishing with 90% of pace to avoid crashes from now on.
The next 2 rallies will be very important for me, because I doubt I can do anything in sweden...
