F1 2014 Comparison (Game 2014, Game 2015 and Real Life)

Recommended Posts

In some aspects, especially lighting, F1 2014 and 2015 has one advantage over the other.
Including the lighting of the track, the tires, the car's exterior, and the car's interior, including the legs.

TV POD OFFSET camera in F1 2014 is very realistic (The only thing missing was pointing the camera at a lower angle in the picture of real life).

TV POD OFFSET camera in F1 2015 is a litte desynchronized.

WTF, you people are comparing a game about driving a f1 car to watching someone else drive a F1 car on TV. Do you want a f1 game about driving a F1 car or do you want a game about watching it on tv. This is exactly why this series will never have any real world driving in the game. Instead of them feeling like they need to put realistic gameplay of driving a f1 car. They instead need to have the driving limited around having it look like it does on tv. No gforce effect, nospeed sensitivity effect, no look to apex effect cant be in the freaking game if you want it to look like your watching it on tv.

Players need to forget about having it look like tv. It needs to look like your seatbelted in a F1 car.

Yes, the point is that the variety of cameras, all could be realistic. The feeling of playing F1 2014 on TV POD OFFSET camera is more realistic than in F1 in 2015 because in the game 2015 the angle is too lateral, this causes you to lose a bit of sight sense of the curve, the more aside vision is but will be difficult to bend to one side. So it makes sense to have a smooth vision, as well as on TV. The camera in the cockpit is the maximum. The others are just to play Arcade style, alternatives for greater interactivity.

I'm not trying to debate tcam so don't take me like I'm trying to. Are you talking realistic to driving the car or realistic to watching it on tv because those two completely different things.

For me, in F1 2014 TV Pod Offset, in particular, is a camera well optimized. Very good for play and good to watch like Tv, need just a little improvement in angle. The others cameras are excellents, in F1 real life, a single camera that exist is Tv Pod Offset (to show constantly). Others cams were created from the game itself. F1 transmission (FOM) even shows some not image from inside the cockpit, as in the pilot's helmet, for example.

So, from what I understand, you want the cam to be more like the real life camera. Personally, I would hate that, You are looking too down at the car, instead of where your going, the T-CAM in F1 2015 is perfect, and they should just leave. As it is now, where I personally would be looking is right in the middle of the screen, perfect. But the real life cam, where I would be looking is almost at the top of the screen and it just doesn't seem right.

i actually wish Codies made the offset camera exactly the same angle as the real life TV angle. I mean how hard is it to get right? It'd help with the immersion a little.
