F1 2015 ERROR creating mass disconnection PS4

The pCars guys are looking into a similar issue on their ps4 forum, hopefully they can be bothered to get with PSN guys and get that sorted, or provide info of a workaround/fix that we could post here to save anyone doing much investigation.

Our league race has been cancelled. The mass disconnections is happening in every lobby.

Same here mate, same here. Out of 12, only 2 finished and I got disconnected 3 meters before start finish line. freaking joke. Why the heck the applied bandwidth limitation?!!!?!?? Internet is the cheapest shit on the planet these days.
@Lozzy Many leagues got halted or aborted because of this disconnection case, and no one is even responding or addressing it. You fix an issue and cause many.
I was a great supporter of Codies and have been patient all the time keeping our drivers in the league committed. Today tipped it off for all of us

Guys, all you need to do is look on the net, both psn and Xbox having issues today again. It does seem to be slightly worse on f1 but im getting all sorts of psn issues.

Let codies remove the limitation or loosen it up and am sure we will be fine Hell broke loose everywhere seems yet we need to think and act in a smart way Project cars are not having this as a major issue since they do not apply limitations. It is happening with them but on a very low scale. For codies, it has become a major hurdle all across the board. They need to act at least until PSN does something about it, if they ever admit an issue is there as they are not doing so. They gave been sending me BS troubleshooting steps. They even asked me to revert my PS4 to damn factory setting!!! WTF!!!

Project Cars are having MAJOR problems with the same thing , go to their forum you will see that they have even created a sticky thread investigating the problem. now Codies Read this comment from the head of Project cars, you Might want to look into it and put pressure on to Sony He's talking about some sort of code called "rebroadcasting"

"This really need one of my 5000 online coders to answer but as I understand it, in a basic form, it's a case of each user providing a little in the way of server/'hosting' assistance to the other players.

"It requires some very cool code that normally works very well. I think, and this really is an assumption as we've yet to get detailed responses from first parties about last weeks issue, I think rebroadcasting is suffering exponentially worse than other hosting/network strategies following the DDOS attacks and whatever protections the first parties put in place to protect themselves following that. "

From what you explained @Madmaz116 this will never get rectified in the foreseeable future. I have many friends who play Project Cars and do not face the same. Codies limitation applied is adding to the trouble. I strongly believe that reverting that or loosen up a bit will help a lot

This is becoming really irritating when 99% of players mostly league drivers are screaming for help on this topic, and no reply back from Codies @Lozzy @jennyannem

I was disconnected once from F1 2015 on pc a few days ago but haven't had any problems since so I don't think its on any other platforms.

Since the last patch came out I have never had any disconnections or booted out so many times in one week then I have now, it's stupid codies need to sort it out and also for f1 2016

Seriously you need to say something about this. It's unplayable at PS4. You just can''t play online anymore, it's not possible.

as i ve mentioned earlier in this thread this problem doesnt appear to be the game , Project Cars and various other games are suffering as well,. it appears to have something to do with PSN, right now SMS who made project cars are talking to Sony about the problem Codies should be doing the same. They seem to be taking the "proffessional" approach and that is to say nothing.

The "Professional" approach is to do like SMS are doing - Push PSN and say something to their player base. @Lozzy @jennyannem

I agree with you the professional approach from our point of view is to do what you have said, but for gaming companies like Codies, it is to say nothing, in the hope it will blow over.

Hi sorry English is not my first language so correct me if am I wrong thanks. I buy 2015 game and Im unable to play online with my league, only with 2015 as I can play other games for hours without any disconnections. As there is no career mode the only decent game mode in this game is multiplayer but I can never get a complete race with being disconnected leaving me very frustrated and a bit angry that I paid full price for this game. I have a really good modern fibre optic internet connection and its set up well using wired connection to ps4 so Im sure this is not the problem or sony network as its only been down once this year on 4th January and sony gave me extra subscription for that so other than that my psn connection has been 100% stable.

The league has stopped playing this game and moved over to another game :-((

Hi Jenny, appreciated you talking to sony,for your information it happened again to us on the Wednesday just gone again watch to the end of the video, you will see we got a third of the way into the race and everyone mass disconnected, we had to and were able to restart the race and complete it, this is where having an in game system where the lobby host and one other can "choose to spectate" before the race and also "manually select a grid formation so safety car style restarts are not required so we can have a proper race start when problems do occur.
